Hi,i wish to install xrecovery on my rooted 2.3.3 x10 but my flashtool cannot recognise my phone..Is there any way to install xrecovery without using flashtool?

just use flashtool flash back to 2.1 and then root + install xrecovery

hey repair using pc suite..,
i wan to flash the rom bak to 2.1 by using the xrecovery backup. But after i restored img, then i reboot the phone and then stuck at the sony ericsson screen. it nvr goes into the OS. and i tried to use flashtool to flash again. but the software cant detect my phone anymore. so i cant repair my phone with pc suit or flash tools at all.. now even cant go into the xrecovery >_<

Well,you flash the rom back to 2.1 by using the xRecovery backup and you should flash .67 baseband after the backup also.
You did not flash the .67 BB so it stuck at SE screen.
Please try to install the usb driver to make flashtool work again.

I've rooted my stock 2.3.3 with flash tool, but after the kernel upgrade, the phone isn't recognized by the FlashTool, so I can't ask root access and install xRecovery.
What am I doing wrong? I'm using flashtool 0.2.9 (tried with 0.3 but it's weird, doesn't seem to work as good as with 0.2.9)

You sure that you're using DooM's flashtool for GB rooting and xRec.?
Because if you use the ordinary flashtool it won't install the proper xRec. for 2.3.3 roms.
Hi, I just re flashed my stock ROM after messing with the new facebook 2.0, I installed it using flashtool, rooted using azuzu's method. But now I wanna install Xrecovery and flashtool is no longer detecting my phone and I have no idea why. Have you turned usb debugging on?
Other way, With xrecovery 0.3 apk, search it on google.

i installed on my xperia x10 mini pro the newest version of miniCM7.
For recovery is CWM now on my phone, before i had xrecovery.
But with CWM Flashtool 0.3 couldnt find my phone when i choose a firmware to flash...for example one firmware from this list: Firmware X10
Could i install xrecovery again for recovery?

Flashtool, doesn't works with CWM.
You, can always restore xrecovery, if u need to.
If u want the tool for reverting back to xrecovery, search it in dev section.
Or PM me, i will message u the link.
Make sure you use flashtool pre v3, so you want a 2.9.x beta otherwise it wont detect your phone. Having CWM installed has no baring on whether or not flashtool can detect your phone, i've used it since having CWM without ill effect.
Run the gordonsgate.exe included with flashtool and make sure you have SE companion installed, but exit the SE companion and dont have it running in the background. Reboot after installing.
It should then work without a hitch.

i have xperia x10 rooted 2.3.3 latest baseband and karnel 2.69
please tell me how do i enter xrecovery i cant do it i reboot my phone, than press back key after SE Text appear and nothing! boot like normal... i want to install rom like cm7 or miui but for that i need to get into recovery mode... also tried to install rom manager premuim than i saw that i have CWM 5.0.2 latest please help..
to install xrecovery do it thru Flashtool it has option in it install xrec !! jus do it and xrec will be up and working !!
