Have tried both..nothing works.
I am also having the same problem from yesterday. Please help us
do you installed to you device Xrecovery and offLine charging components?
No. I didn't install.
hmm...
try to off your phone, and charging with adapter ?
Some important system files might have gone missing or corrupted I'm afraid.
Otherwise it's the battery itself giveway and died.
But still these situations are unlikely happen. So, try charge the battery on a different phone to narrow down the root cause.

turkbey v5 rom with siyah kernel
Most often, this is caused by a dirty or faulty USB port.
-try cleaning it with a dry toothbrush.
-failing that, remove battery and clean the USB port with a q tip and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Let it dry for a few hours before putting the battery back in.
-failing that, get the port replaced.

My phone is acting weird too ... its an i777 but running a ported I9100 rom ...
I do not think that the rom is the problem ... because i had a similar problem before the phone was rooted ... however i sent it to samsung ... they changed a bunch of parts ... It looks brand new now ...
but ... today i got the "paused charging voltage too high message" and i got it after i removed the charging plug !
it and it gave me the same message after a while .... despite the fact that the charger was not connected. i took the battery out .... and when i put it back in it turned on - I thought I should turn it on !!!

[Q] Battery problem , Help !

Hi ...
I recently flashed an android 4.0.3 stock firmware with odin , when I plug my charger it shows "battery disconnected" , so I told myself a factory reset should do , it didn't , so I flashed a rgui miui rom that I had , still the same problem the battery is not charging , so the phone shut down and I try to plug my charger, it shows me the usual battery icon that shows when charging while the phone is turned off and beside it a yellow triangle showing a battery inside it with a "/" on it , is that mean that I should get a new battery ? thanks for the help
First is to clean the USB port see all the other USB problem posts for how.

first try out wat jje said,,,,,,,then if all ok an same prblm ,try a new flash via odin (stock rom)
SOLUTION 1: (tested and working) I have tried another sgs2 battery, and the problem did not occur.
That means, you need the buy a new phone battery, even if you have warranty, since I beleive that the battery is never covered under the warranty.
SOLUTION 2: (not tested) wipe battery stats
The problem with the battery can occur because :
1- Not using the charger sent with the phone ( For example, using the playbook charger, which is twice as powerful and will wreck your battery, or an LG charger *slightly different voltage*)
2- I beleive the sgs2 software prompts you to unplug charger when it reaches 100%, because if you over charge it, you also risk damaging your battery on the long term.
3- Batteries have a life, Laptop batteries range between 1 to 2 years for example, then you need to keep the battery plugged so it dose not run out of juice really in quickly.
So on the sgs2, it is a very battery demanding phone, so battery issues are always there, if battery is always experimented with, it will get ruined.

S2 thinks it is rechargin when it is not

Hi,
Yesterday when I took the phone off the charger normally, it started to indicate that it is being recharged, and a couple of seconds after it announces that it will no longer be charged and this same cycle continues and continues playing the annoying sound / message. I tried to fix it by removing the battery, but it did not help at all. I also tried to connect the phone to Kies but when Kies recognize it, the program crashes ...
So could someone please help me with this?

Did you try to blow some air in the usb port? As it may contain some dust that is leading your phone to notify you as if it is being charged...

Hey,
I have been actually been having the same problem, it could:
1. bad charging brick
2. battery issue
3. kernel issue - i dont think its this one any more because i am still getting it on the stock leaked firmware.
4. usb charging board
i have tried flashing different roms / kernels and doesnt seem to be a cache / file issue since it happening before the phone boots. (charging screen)
if possible try another s2's battery in your phone... power off the phone and see if it auto starts or goes into charging screen. I have a spare battery and i dont seem to get the issue on that one. (still testing)
I also noticed i really only get the issue when i leave the phone charging for the night then wakeup. pull the charging cable and the phone doesn't register the disconnect and says its still charging. if i connect the usb to a laptop and connect and disconnect, it registers instantly.
i have looked for bent pins / dust.. depending on the better testing goes it may be the charging board that could be the issue.
good luck

I agree with you about the usb port problem. I also had a problem with the usb port, the battery icon was blinking all the time and the phone had a huge battery drain issue. All I could do is returning to stock, unrooting and bringing the phone to service center for repair.

[Q] S2 probleme charger

hey
yesterday i install 4.1.2 XXLS that look like S3 with odin
everythings is okey but when i wake up i found my phone is off my battery is empty
i charge it for 30min that give me 20%
i pull the charge AC i go to other room to charge my phone but i found that not work cant charge
i try USB connect with pc that not work too its like there is no cable pluggin
i try to turn off mobile pull the battery format my phone all of this not work
Try charging the Battery using external charger. ...
It could be a problem in your charging port... else put back the stock ICS and try charging. .

I had the exact same issues you have after flashing the LSJ Rom.
First I had huge battery drain, then my phone rarely managed to recognize the charger/USB cable
However, I kind of managed to fix it for two days now.
What I did was; pull out the battery for a couple of hours. Afterwards, I tried to charge it a bit and flash my old rom (CM 10.1)
Not sure if this was the reason for the fix, but you could try it.
so i should to turn back to ics
but mode download doesnt work because of the phone dont detecte usb/charger
i wanna do it via recovery
i flash into ics 4.0.3
i upgraude via wifi to 4.0.4 but still the same probleme
i dont understand when i connect my phone to odin via cabel USB that work. but without odin just plug it didnt work
Kies installed?
You should have read about battery drain in JB leak...it's kinda better than ICS.
i fix that by a technician
he told me he fix that by washing with a product that all, he not change connecteur with other one just fix it
now i worry if this probleme came back hhhhh
