Hi.
I have a Droid incredible since 1st week of Feb 2011. No problems and I like it ok. Is like to get a new phone but have couple questions. Is really appreciate some help please. So here goes.
1: What is the ppi on my incredible, first one, 3.7".
2: What is ppi on Razr maxx
3. What is the story with maxx bootloader locked? How does that affect roms and rooting?
4. Is razr maxx much of an upgrade over my HTC Droid incredible.
5: How is razr maxx radio signal strength? I tried Galaxy Nexus which said 3g more then 4G at my home and even lost connection a few times. HTC Rezound had good mostly 4G at my home.
6: What does the modding community look like for razr maxx?
Thanks a lot.

Just by looking at the specs of each you can get an idea of the difference.
http://smartphones.findthebest.com/compare/8-161/HTC-DROID-Incredible-vs-Motorola-DROID-RAZR
Just looking at the basic specs you can see the razr has
4g lte
dual core
better battery
better screen
more memory
ability to tether
As far as signal all depends on where you live. On my Charge I got better reception in my house compared to the Razr. Several factors can contribute to your signal. Being a locked boot loader can limit some of the things done but still
can get by and do some decent things. As far as Roms go as I stated in another thread you could always use the stock rooted Rom and depending on what you want do some things yourself.
The specs on findthebest were wrong in many cases. And only a smart rating of 41? Come on. The Maxx is the most awesome phone out there.
1. PPI - don't know. Let google be your friend.
2. PPI on Razr - once again let google be your friend.
3. As for the bootloader being locked you can still root your Razr Maxx (which I did) but you can't install custom ROMs. With it rooted you can still freeze or uninstall useless apps using Titanium Backup and a few other customizations but that's about it.
4. Differences - 4G LTE. Wow! Hold on to your socks if you're in an LTE coverage area. Blazing fast. And great building penetration. Just rocks. Battery - The Maxx's battery last all day and then some. I streamed 4 hours of Pandora, made a couple of hours worth of phone calls, surfed for about an hour, and customized the ADW launcher for 20 minutes. After being on battery for 19 hours I still had 50% left!
5. The signal strength is great. The sound clarity is one I've never seen in a cell phone. The microphone has great noise cancelling as well. The wifi radio isn't the best I've seen though. Granted my router is in the worst possible place but I've gotten better reception on my old HTC Evo 3D than on the Maxx. But not enough to make me ding the phone even a half star in a review.
6. You can flash custom ROMs if you do the Bootloader Safestrap thing. I'm pretty happy with my phone the way it is so I don't think I need to do any sort of ROM flashing until something great happens with ROMs.
What attracted me the most to the Maxx was the battery. In the store they have them so tied down it is almost impossible to really use the phone as you would in real life. I was scared I wouldn't like it or the VZ coverage as I was coming from Sprint and was comfortable with both my Evo 3D and the coverage. But I haven't regretted getting the Maxx one bit. I have no problem with the pentile display that so many online reviewers are complaining about. The screen is awesome.
should be able to install custom rom.. but not able to install custom kernel.. correct me if i wrong

Coming from the HTC Thunderbolt, I have had the Maxx for a week and no regrets. I flashed my Tbolt a hundred times, yes total flashaholic, and doubt I will flash the Maxx since it is awesome. That's bull but you get my point. Battery takes some getting used to since I still think I need chargers everywhere and with the maxx you don't. Totally worth it.
1: What is the ppi on my incredible, first one, 3.7".
252 PPI
2: What is ppi on Razr maxx
256 PPI
3. What is the story with maxx bootloader locked? How does that affect roms and rooting?
Yes the bootloader is locked, but the phone is rooted. What this means is you are able to fully flash new ROM's, but are not able to flash new kernels, radios, and splash screens.
4. Is razr maxx much of an upgrade over my HTC Droid incredible.
dINC vs MAXX
- 512MB vs 1024MB of RAM
- very slow GPU vs fast GPU
- single core 1GHz and older generation snapdragon vs dual core 1.2 newer generation snapdragon
- 3.7" screen vs 4.3" screen (it's not bulky and can fit in jean pockets fine)
- 1300 mAh vs 3300 mAh (with combination of more battery efficient processor, and screen, it lasts much longer)
- 8GB internal vs 16GB internal
- TV out (eww) vs HDMI out
- 720p max recording vs 1080p max recording
- no front camera vs front camera
- 2.1 Bluetooth vs 4.0 Bluetooth
- dINC poorly runs rooted ICS vs MAXX will be getting ICS within weeks-months and has nearly identical hardware to the Galaxy Nexus, so ICS should run flawless (ICS is currently a ROM available for flashing, but it still has some bugs to be worked out)
- glass that has broken on my dINC vs Gorilla glass
- MAXX also has 2 other hardware features that help the GPS lock quicker and more accurately.
- MAXX is splash resistant (coated with water repellent)
- probably more, but I give up on trying to remember.
5: How is razr maxx radio signal strength? I tried Galaxy Nexus which said 3g more then 4G at my home and even lost connection a few times. HTC Rezound had good mostly 4G at my home.
The MAXX's 1x and 3G radio is very strong. Motorolla has always had great 1x and 3G radios and a big difference compared to my HTC dINC or my sisters dumbphone.
LTE is good as well, but if it gets a weak signal then it won't try to keep it (while draining more battery), it'll just drop it for 3G.
6: What does the modding community look like for razr maxx?
Sadly, not very well. The locked bootloader and the fact that Motorola has angered many hard core DEVs have made this possible
There is still hope our bootloader will get unlocked, so that idea isn't totally dead.

The RAZR MAXX has a TI OMAP 4430 dual 1.2GHz core, not a Snapdragon, which is made by Qualcomm.

ah thanks, I wrote it up from the top of my head. For some reason I was thinking snapdragon :/
Thanks everyone.
I got the Rezound I think the day after I posted this question. No one here, not one, had the maxx. Otherwise I was probably going to get it.

Well you can always return the Rezound, and get the MAXX. I love the MAXX. I had the RAZR only thing wrong with it was the battery. Enter the MAXX, best phone ever.

True except I have returned 5 or 6 phones already in the last 2 weeks.
I'm not sure how the Maxx is currently the best when the screen is only qhd. I know screen doesn't totally make a phone. Rezound has much better screen res wise but anyway. I did like the Maxx screen over my incredible.

The MAXX has a Super Amoled Advanced screen. Better than the qHD screens found in the Bionic, Droid 3 & 4 and Droid X2.
I took pix in store at VZW with both the Rezound and the RAZR and didn't really see a difference. The Rezound felt clunky in my hand. Yes, the RAZR is wide, but I went with Moto's build quality. Their phones just feel more solid. But that's just personal preference.
You can't really go wrong with the Rezound, it is unlockable now. The dev community should start to really embrace it more.
I'm sure you'll be happy with the Rezound. I'm happy with my RAZR MAXX.

Hey everyone,
I'm currently rocking a SGS2 i9100 International edition and 'm just getting tired of the battery life or lack there off. I love the tons of ROMs but to be honest I'm getting tired of the lack of stability and battery life. I just want a stable setup, great reception, pretty good camera and most importantly BATTERY LIFE!!
Most i9100 extended batteries are soo small and all the large ones end up being some cheapie far east crap that has a much lower rating.
So here are my Questions for you guys (I will also search the forums for answers)
How awesome is the battery for light-medium users?
Is the boot loader thing still an issue?
Can the phone be rooted/s-offed or whatever the term is for the RAZR?
How is the ROM support for ICS? Is GB better?
Is there a lot of development for this phone still or do you guys notice it's waning?
How's the camera/video on the phone?
How's the reception for calls and speakers? (I find my old Moto Razr V3 to still have better reception than my SGS2 and better sound too)
How's the accessories market for these?
Any flaws, issues, comments and advice concerning this phone?
Thanks for any help possible!

I sold my beloved GSM Galaxy Nexus for this phone. I loved the Nexus and Jelly Bean, stock, etc, but grew tired of toting two batteries with me. That and grew tired of low audio on ringers and the speakerphone. The GSM RAZR MAXX has totally fixed these issues and I've found ICS to be perfectly fine for daily use. JB is great and all, but the phone hardware, call quality, and battery life have made be a believer.
In short, I don't miss stock Google and my GNEX at all. Buy one.
[*] How awesome is the battery for light-medium users?
Easily cruises through an entire day with heavy use.
[*] Is the boot loader thing still an issue?
I don't know since I only flashed an ICS leak. I'm not into the ROM scene any more (maybe I grew up?). ICS stock is perfectly fine.
[*] Can the phone be rooted/s-offed or whatever the term is for the RAZR?
See above.
[*] How is the ROM support for ICS? Is GB better?
ICS stock is great. GB feels very old, so flash ICS on day one.
[*] Is there a lot of development for this phone still or do you guys notice it's waning?
Don't care at this point.
[*] How's the camera/video on the phone?
Typical phone quality. Ok for snapshots, not for billboard size photos and wedding photos.
[*] How's the reception for calls and speakers? (I find my old Moto Razr V3 to still have better reception than my SGS2 and better sound too)
Incredible. I get 4 bars in my basement and no dropped calls. On my GSM GNEX, I had 0/1 bar and dropped calls like crazy. The "sidetone" on Motorolas is awesome (ala home phones).
[*] How's the accessories market for these?
Ok I guess. Pick up a navigation dock for around $30 and an Atrix Webtop for ~$60. Accessories are cheap because its not the hot sexy new phone any more.
[*] Any flaws, issues, comments and advice concerning this phone?
None that I see.
See that's perfect. I too am getting tired of all these SGS2 roms and their inherit flaws/stability. I'm over ROms too because I've outgrown it. I just want a fully unlocked phone so that I don't have any limitation.

Yeah - I'm still looking for a MAXX but it's seemingly hard to find one. Anyone else got any advice?
Have a look at the official Battery Extender pack from Samsung for its Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus keeps it nice looks and has a big battery. Just like the razr maxx.
The hardware of the GNex is superior (better camera (note that this means 8 mpx > 5 mpx Oh, and by the way: 5 mpx Pictures are smaller than 8 mpx pictures, that's why they can be saved faster), bigger display, battery replaceable) and most importantly:
The software isn't bloated, old, slow or locked.
I own a Motorola Razr right now and it has very nice hardware. It looks awesome (especially in white) and isn't that expensive.
But the software... Dear god... bloated, locked, old, way too late updates from Motorola (only for US customers on time and even they had to wait for a long time), no custom roms (with some tools they are possible, but there are always some essential issues with those workarounds).
As I received my regular razr, I was pretty happy, it was fast (was GB 2.3, ICS is fast too if you unbloat it(!)), it has nice battery life (about 5-8 hours with very heavy usage and I'm talking about the regular razr, so the maxx has to be amazing) and that's why I started to think about a razr maxx. Battery life? Sure I want that!
But I will sell my razr, get a Nexus and will have nearly the same features as a razr maxx has. This will cost me some bucks more, but I will get updates way faster and longer. If google stops support for the Nexus, the unlocked bootloader will allow to install newer custom roms and therefore the latest android version. With Motorola, this is NOT the case. If Motorola says 4.0.4 was the last update, you're stuck with 4.0.4 forever or you use tools to work around these locks. But the issues raised by those tools and workarounds, destroy the hardware superiority of the razr next to other devices (you get less RAM that you really have, blame Moto!)... So... why a razr then?
- old software
- late updates and you're stuck with what you get
- bloated with so much software preinstalled and consuming precious RAM (can only be removed with root aka. tinkering with your phone for eventually a long time)
- bad camera (there is even a thread about this topic on here somewhere)
- with the latest ICS update even the webtop got removed and replaced by a standard ICS tablet mode UI (which is to be honest very good IMHO - but that's not a webtop anymore (as they advertised it), so that feature got taken (remember, you get what Motorola gives you with this phone)
tl;dr: Do NOT get a razr (maxx) and look for something like a google experience phone (e.g. GNexus). I am a razr owner and STRONGLY recommend to get another phone (because of the software - which is a shame, blame Moto).
EDIT: I have to be fair and add: GB and ICS from Motorola were and are very stable. I get very long uptimes with my razr. But again: It's slow if you don't mess with it. And if somebody says it's not slow: It's also not as fast as it could be, not as battery saving as it could be, so the bloat DEFINITELY disturbs the performance of the razr.

Well I sold my GSM GNEX for the GSM RAZR MAXX, so yeah. Software is key, but not if you are changing batteries by 4pm.

That's why I already linked the battery extension from Samsung itself. The razr maxx will eventually still have a bigger battery than the GNex, but maybe the big pack from Samsung will already be big enough for djpharoah.

To the reception:
3G and 2G (I'm talking about the EU GSM version) reception is very good, better than most other smartphones I know of or owned.
WiFi reception is okay. It is okay if you don't cover the lower right corner of the razr. If you cover it (e.g. holding it only in the right hand in vertical mode), the reception get's very bad - another thing that deeply disappointed me. I had good reception with my earlier phones (Palm Pre and LG Optimus 2x) when I stood in front of my house. With the razr, I don't get any signal, especially if I'm holding it in my right hand. Sometimes I get disconnects IN the house (never happened before). But I have to say, that this didn't bother me so much. Google this topic, you'll see that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

That extended battery is a small bump in mAh and really only provides a slight advantage over the stock battery. Yes, it's better, but not close to double as is the MAXX battery.
But I'm not arguing my point (not my intent). The GNEX is a fine phone, but that extended battery won't work miracles. It's a marginal improvement in reality. You are better off carrying a spare original battery in your pocket (as I did when I had my GNEX). It's mildly annoying but will get you through a day of normal (not heavy) use. The extended battery will require a second for all day use anyway, so there's that.
...and the extended battery will only fit the Verizon GNEX (I am assuming the OP has Verizon?). On that note, the Verizon GNEX is really bad vs. the GSM version. Poor connectivity, terrible battery (compared to the GSM GNEX) just to start.
But what do I know? I have AT&T. Guess I've just read enough complaints about the CDMA GNEX vs. the RAZR MAXX to have the opinion that the RAZR is the better device.
Edit: I see the OP's title (GSM), so no Verizon GNEX. The extended battery you linked will not work with the GSM GNEX.

What has changed now that Google owns Moto? Has anything changed? Unlocked bootloaders? easier to get updates??
Also what's the camera issue?
Google bought Motorola for it's patents, not to immediately turn all Moto phones into hackable devices.
So the only thing that's changed is Google's patent portfolio got bigger.

Right - that's what everyone says. But as of now I'm only noticing 4-5 ICS Roms for the RAZR and is that because it's hard to get a ROM going on the phone due to restrictions or just that these ROMs are so stable and awesome that the RAZR audience seens no reason to mess about?

Some developers already switched to other devices (like the maker of the ROM I'm currently using (Epsilon)). The only usable/not bugged versions are just debloated and customized Moto stock roms. They work good though.

It's overloaded with bloatware. It's still usable, but it destroys so much potential of the phone. If you unbloat it, it's fast too.
And I honestly don't think, that Googles ownership of Moto will change anything related to updates. I doubt, that the razr will get Android 5. It's still far ahead, but a device that costs hundreds of €/$ and doesn't get updates? The iPhone 3GS released in 2009 got the latest iOS. The razr got out in November last year and is already outdated and no update in sight. Moto didn't even say a single word about JB for the razr.
Remember: It's not only about features, also about security. Old Android versions don't get security updates. Nobody uses Windows XP without any security updates and surfs the web. (Nearly) everyone knows that this would be suicide. On mobile phones, nobody cares all of the sudden.

Oh, I didn't know that. But there's also an extended battery for the GSM version: Samsung EB-K1F2KBUGSTD
I ordered a RAZR m from wirefly and got a maxx instead. I'm trying to decide if Its worth it to send back, what do you guys think? Is there a big difference?

Exactly the same phone but with a double capacity battery, which makes phone only about 2mm thicker.

I think the post above misread it without the M, if you're in for performance, get the M, if you're in for the battery get the Maxx.
If I were you though, I'd get the M, the Razr is aging and if you own one you'd realise that out of the box the Razr is rather slow in performance compared to other devices, and JB is most likely the last Major upgrade that you'd get from Motorola apart from minor bug fixes although one may also argue that custom ROMs are available, this might also be the time that someone highlights the locked bootloader. So id get the better hardware since both of them have locked bootloaders
Did you pay retail for it? Maybe wait for the Maxx HD and get the best of both words?
I think that the MAXX is better because of the Battery

I thought "m" was a typo. I'd definitely choose the RAZR M over the old Maxx.
If you can get and keep signal, keep the M. Otherwise send it back and get the maxx. I had the M and LOVEEEED it!!! It was by far my favorite phone ever to date. However it is known for having poor signal reception, which mine did have. Mine switched between 1x and 1 bar of 3g at my house. I was forced to trade it in because of this. I now have a razr maxx and get 3-4 bars of 4g at home. But it is noticeably slower at computing. I can't wait for the razr hd to come out, i hope it doesn't have the antenna problems like the M. If the antenna issue is resolved, i will be getting the HD and giving the maxx to my wife. I just hope rooting support comes out with the HD.
P.S. The razr M battery is fine for average users. It's bigger than the original razr battery. I'm not a heavy user, more like average. With the M, at the end of the day, i still had about 30% battery. With the maxx, i have about 60%
I dont Know price razr and maxx in your country
in my Country ,price range betwn razr and max is to high
razr + powerbank = razr max (is just my opinion )
Dear fellow'm with a doubt in which phone to buy. Buy an Xperia S or Motorola Razr MAXX? I live in Brazil and here the analyzes of Brazilians they said the same processor has Lag in simple games is that true? You using a modified RAZR all can tell me if it really is a difference in performance and ICS JB Modified Stock ROMs for your version. Aparentimente'm more attracted by Moto Razr Maxx but to think that the processor will be weak and will have his game time lags heavy. Another is doubtful about the bootloader. The bootloader is already unlocked from the factory? Can I install a kernel that device manufactures come from?

here are some hints, as owner os razr, but I had a xperia s:
first, battery life of razr is almost double, therefore you will have more time for you
second, xperia s is not using a superamoled display, but LCD. the difference is huge in favour to razr, belive me. black IS black, not gray
third, the feeling and look of gorilla glass and Kevlar is WAY above regular glass and back plastic
about the lag in games, I didn't noticed any on both devices.
hope I've helped you to decide
cheers
I ran stock latam firmware, and now I run and under clocked and undervolted rom and even now I don't have lags playing games with heavy graphics usage like batman or modern combat 4, did have lag in vice city but it was an app bug that later solved with update.
When in was looking for a phone I first thought of the GS2 and then the xperia, finally o bought this razr on discount and right now I wouldn't change It
edit
the bootloader is in fact locked and it will most possibly remain like that, but there is a lot of work around to flash a lot of custom roms and custom recoverys; custom kernels (kexec in razr's case) are a whole other story since until now they aren't fully functional

If you ask me, i'd take Razr Maxx any day, solely just for the battery life. But there are other factor that is on Xperia S favor, mainly the cool factor and the camera module and the screen. Yeah Razr Maxx has AMOLED but the greenish nature in a low brightness and the black spots visible on a dark environment made my preference back to Sony's (or HTC with its super LCD), plus Sony openness to Android really helps XDA member around here to develop custom ROM. So that is some factor you have to take into mind.
So if you're an indoor guy with wall outlet or power bank around and like to have ROM flashing disorder, the Xperia S is definitely a cooler device to be had, but if you are a going out type of person and the one that really want a working solution, Razr Maxx is definitely a better friend to be had

Thank you. Already knows he has no delay in games, get more excited. But what do we have to see the hansip87 said about the Razr Maxx has AMOLED screens but the greenish nature in a low brightness and dark spots visible in a dark environment. When it seems the Xperia S LCD screen has good definitions of vivid colors.

Thank you. To change the Kernel do not need to unlock the bootloader? If it is possible for motorola'm really surprised by this feat. The Stock Kernel that comes on the device is not good? I think if he turns to buy ICS manufactures.
depends on what you're looking for. I'm gone from a charging place for around 18+ hrs a day, so I love the battery of the Razr Maxx, and can always overclock it. If you're a person who wants solid gaming though, I'd put a bet more so on the Experia. I've never had a lag on games on mine, but I've never really used high-graphic games on it either- use my nexus 7 for that.
Xperia s is no match for razr in every department except camera. Even its hd display looks dull near the razr. On the other hand xs is a phone with issues.

As a sony past user i disagree. Xperia S and razr maxx excels in each own ways. Razr for example has no gyro, and no fm radio. So nobodys perfect. As i viewed it, razr is office oriented, whereas xperia is media oriented. You can't just say the razr is whole lot better, it all depends on what you need.

I really like bright colors and high definition high desenpenho processor, however I also like good battery life. My doubt is because the issue of CPU and GPU compared to the Xperia S. Watching a video in full hd 1080p lcd tv in a large. She has the little squares? I do not really use the camera phone use more processor in games that I love. My biggest intuiro to buy this Motorola Razr is because of the large v

I'm looking for something with a good processor for gaming and not lock in that I have a good battery life because I love games. As the camera I do not care because I do not use very much. But I care about the image quality in its definition. I like colors and vivid realistiscas. I have a WT19 and am happy with its image quality.

In what application I could serve a gyroscope? I think of a good one for games and the battery that lasts well and I have a good image definition. I've seen it is one AMOLED screen greenish well actually I do not like it much because the colors do not appear as they really are. But then again I really like to apply and modify Android ROM. Can you tell me how long it takes to complete your Razr Maxx load? And if the official update has already JB atralhos bar Statos.
Motorola MAXX friend If he has an awesome performance with good battery life along with a good quality pictures and being water proof yet. I believe in taking more consederação for Motorola.

Totally agree. Not to mention the design and as I sad the quality of materials. Sony looks good only in pictures and reviews. In reality looks and feels cheap.
Vivid colours? Maybe so. But still you cannot compare lcd with amoled. If you want to see black on s screen, razr is the solution.
You can use gyro for photosphere app for 4.2.1.
Camera is better on sony, yes. Bluetooth, not
Also I think you need to test both of them a bit to see for yourself. Just for a few minutes, it should be enough
1. the only kernels that can be flashed on razr are only moto's signed ones, however there's a method to load another custom kernel over the stock one and this method is Kexec, but don't expect too much of it at least in short term; but even on stock you can overclock, load other governors, load other scheduler, undervolt and similar stuff so stock is good enough.
2. the hdmi output doesn't send 1080p if the video wasn't filmed with the phone itself, otherwise it downscales the video and then send it at a lesser resolution, I don't remember which resolution was but somewhere between 480p-720p

Well with the brightness set at 50% or more, you'll get the best quality from amoled though. But prepare for increased drain (which shouldn't be a problem with razr maxx). Yes gyro will be useful for 4.2, but with current roadmap, seems like 4.1.2 is the end of the road for razr series officially.
Razr boot time is actually longer than i like it to be, about 45 sec to 1 minute.
One fact that i like about razr camera is that you get less color noise compared to sony exmor sensor. the noise is still there though, but less colorized though. Sure it's slower to start too but the end result with steady hands, i vote for razr camera.

Friend me to thinking more in gaming performance and battery life than the quality of the camera. As I've seen the comments of my dear friends here at XDA and soon nobody complained of lags. With that I already am more relaxed about the processor from Motorola. Also think about the battery life because I think lagged having to always carrying your phone. I've been watching some JB Custom ROM for Motorola RAZR MAXX and greatly appreciated ROMs. Can you tell me about the quality and pitch against the Xperia S. The Xperia S is louder and with more quality than the Moto Razr Maxx? To phone into thinking that I can play without worrying about battery consumption and performance. I'm about to buy a Motorola Razr Maxx, but also to the doubts about the Xperia S. To think that your Xperia S with appropriate modifications of ROM and Kernel I can have a good battery life as Moto Razr Maxx.

You ta saying that any problems I have with Software Modified I will not lose the warranty Apparatus? Because I have not modified your bootloader. You ta saying that videos made on mobile with 1080p I will not see on television with these qualities? Also thinking to use the HDMI cable to play on mobile using television think this should be pretty cool.

By the accounts I'm doing here in Brazil the two devices are in the same price range around R $ 1.400 reais. But all ta considering the Moto Razr Maxx ta winning not because of the quality of the camera but the useful life of the battery Maxx is really very good. I have a satisfactory drainage WT19 and I think that bothers having to always carrying your phone. Now, for what I am seeing the Motorola Razr Maxx will satisfy my use as it has a good processor and good battery life. With the screen Amoled. Now I do not know much about pixes resolution. Motorola is lower in density pixes'll realize what do with this lack of pixes by density.

It's kinda funny what google translate does with your portuguese -> english
You can always fastboot to stock to claim warranty in any case, custom roms do void the warranty but after fastbooting stock they won't notice nothing so you and your warranty are safe.
I won't get my hopes too high on getting 1080p out of the razr in normal use; maybe near 720p but you can see the difference, it's not that bad but neither stunning, I don't know how the xperia S handles the hdmi output to compare tho.
About AMOLED screen resolution 256ppi is not bad (I even think is good); but is Pentile so If you look from very very near you will notice it grainy, in normal use you won't see that
Off-topic:
Price tag 1.400 r$? holy s***! I'm your country neighbor (I live in paraguay) and at the current change for that money here I can get a galaxy note 2 unlocked right from samsung, didn't motorola have factories there?
Hi guys, XDA forums are incredible famous around the world, nice job you have made here...thanks for all the knowledge...:highfive:
So, I bought Motorola Razr Maxx on internet, it will arrive in the next 5 or 6 days, and I have a question about the camera, some specs saying the Maxx camera is worse than the Razr I camera, 'cause Razr I camera has better image quality and HDR, and some other things I think.
Because of this aspect I spent the last 3 days searching apps can provide quality on the photos, I've just found apps that improve picture quality AFTER shoot (like Photoshop)...I'm looking for an app that improves the camera quality BEFORE I take a shot, adding some features to it (HDR i.e.).
Could you help me guys, please?
PS.: It's good to see some brazilian guys helping you out...:good:
