Sprint to Boost? Is it possible - HTC EVO 3D

Is it possible to switch my Sprint service over to Boost? With that question out of the way... If it is possible what do I need to do to make it happen with the Evo3d?
Thank you in advance

There are guides here on xda, or you could check craigslist. I see a lot of stores advertising it.

Thank you kindly Rob....kinda funny you mention the guides, I have been searching on here for the past couple of days from my phone and have not had any luck locating them. If you run across a posting of them can you post the link here please.
Thank you again

The new update breaks a lot.... But if you want it check out almost all roms. Most are based off 2.3.6 and fyi the facepalm is for not searching
Thanks nyamo

It IS a noob question and one that could easily have been answered by first doing a search. The stickies are here for a reason, it is always a good idea to scan their titles before starting a new thread so that we don't end up with redundant threads like this one. No one is paid to be here, so we really appreciate it when you first make some effort to find an answer.

How to help the greenest Noobs

I just had a few buds that had no idea of the joys of rooted androids. I know some guys do it online or stores close by do the same for too much money. I personally went to qbking77's corner and figured out basic development and flashing by trial and error. I would do it for them but then they can't update the rom without me and the liability if they get mad about something. Anyway my question is what is the best way to help these greenhorns see the world they didn't know existed.

Incredible flashing, please help

Hi, I've came across several posts online about people using their incredible on the straight talk service. I have the cdma workshop already, qpst & other software even a remote access program. I really would be thankful if someone could help me with doing this? I know its possible because theirs people that will do it for a fee. It would mean a lot if someone could point me to a step by step guide or just help me in general? Thank you so much.

Pretty bad with computers, toaster ovens

and technology in general so I was gonna pay the twenty or thirty dollars to have one of the people that advertise in these forums do root my phone. Any longtime members have any feedback? Or recommendations there was at least two groups advertising in the rooting xdaforum last night...thank you.

Don't. I don't know a heck of a lot about your phone but I've seen this stuff go around and often you are wasting money
Of course this is just my opinion and take it how you'd like, but I know it can't be to hard to follow directions for most everyone and I'm sure there is clearly written guides to do so. Just go to your phones forum and seek a guide and read up. Ask for advice when this fails
And again just my opinion here but if you can't root your own device chances are it shouldn't have root access. What I mean by this is that you will have a greater chance of bricking down the road if you don't learn how to do things yourself, I see it all the time, so do yourself a favor and learn about your phone before it becomes anything more than stock, or else you have a high chance of having it be nothing more than an expensive brick
Feel free to ask more questions and I'll do my best to help, also feel free to tell me to mind my own business, either way...

Hell.,I need you in business brah. I found it to be solid advice and what I thought was the smartest route anyway. The learn about your phone argument is the truth. It's like Yoda, then you, then the Dalai Lama. I appreciate your wise words and will now trek down the path less taken for me. Wish me luck brother. And thank you!
PS any good video instructionals on YouTube you recommend over others.Little more of a visual learner ya know...long lists of written directions gives my ADHD the ****in fits! Thanks again.

Thanks, I'd be willing to send you a video link but not sure your phone, HTC one?
I'd just go to you phones forum and look for the stickies in either general or dev section, should be all the info needed to root and often a link to a YouTube video if its complicated

To be honest. If you dont can root your phone than you maybe let it be. I mean: with root you can kill (brick) your phone if you dont know what youre doing. If you do it yourself (maybe with some guidance) you will be willing to learn and search so it will be easier for you.
