Replace battery meter? - Motorola Droid RAZR

With the Droid Bionic being rooted, a few weeks ago I installed a file (can't remember where I got it from, maybe XDA) that replaced the standard battery meter with the circular version that shows the actually battery % remaining, such as "90%".
Has anyone tried this yet with the Droid Razr to see if the battery meter can be replaced?

Just got the Maxx yesterday battery question

Hi all
So im lovin this RAZR MAXX but I would like to ask a question about the battery.
So I unplugged it at 7am this morning used the internet a little bit a total of 20 minutes voice calls and about one hour of telenav GPS and the battery is at 60%. Does that sound normal? Sounds kind of quick no?

It takes a few cycles to get max battery life, but are you on 4G and how bright is your screen?
The thing that killed your battery was the hour of GPS usage... But remember, 60 percent of a Razr Maxx battery is still more the a fully charged OG Razr. My advice, stop worrying about the battery and just enjoy the phone. You've got the best factory battery life that money can buy.

1 hour of GPS usage actually isn't that bad on the RAZR, I use that regularly and it barely makes a dent. Screen brightness and 4G however will drain it.
Likely has to do with it being a new battery. It really needs a couple of cycles (running it down below 5% and then recharge to 100%) for the phone to estimate the size of your battery. Android actually cuts off charge to the battery at a certain level to protect the battery, so if it thinks you have a smaller battery, it'll shut off earlier.
Basically.. just keep using your phone normally for a few days and your battery should improve.
Had better to turn off the GPS and wifi function to extend your battery life.

Help needed from android developer

I have Motorola atrix that's not showing accurate charge on battery indicator bcoz its not recognizing the battery as 1880mah and showing in charge-full-design only 500 which should be 1880.I have tried many calibration methods but non of them worked. So i want to know from a developer is there away to manually edit the charge-full-design, battd or a tweak in build.prop or any other file to set actual capacity of the battery in the system.
The battery i am using is the original one that came with the phone and battery life time great the only problem is that it discharges to 1% in short time and than stays on 1% for many hours.
Thanks

[Q] Circular Battery Indicator with one percent hack for Motorola devices?

I recently got a Motorola Droid 4 and have been using Battery Indicator (freeware, open source) to keep track of my battery percentage. A recent update added a "one percent hack" option for Motorola devices and so it now shows the exact battery percentage in the status bar.
In 2010, XDA user irkan developed Circular Battery Indicator using the Battery Indicator source. I like the circular version better, but unfortunately this app hasn't been updated recently and so there is no one percent hack option - the app only shows battery percentages in 10% increments.
Would anyone be willing/able to update Circular Battery Indicator with the one percent hack for Motorola devices?

Quick Discharge From 100% to 90%

I noticed soon after unplugging from my AC outlet my Razr Maxx goes from 100% to 90%. Is it not getting a full charge after being plugged-in all night?
I am not rooted, so I can't reset battery stats using a battery calibrator app. Is there a way to fix this situation?
Dropping 1% gets you into 90% range. Not to worry.

It reads in 10% increments not 1%
DROID RAZR MAXX
Actually, using "battery circle" that reads 1% steps, i noticed these:
-When the phone says "charged", the battery is on 95%. You must leave it on charge for a few minutes to reach actual 100%.
-Dropping until 95%, you get 100% and above that it says 90%. Until 85% you get 90% and so on

The widget always did that for me as well. The circle battery widget is more accurate so go by that instead of the icon in the status bar

Can you tell me which particular circle battery widget you got off the Play Store?

Battery Notifier Pro gives 1% increments plus has several dowloadable themes.

Battery Status Unknown (Motorola Droid A855) - Please Help.

I have two batteries.
The old one - which Doesn't work unless it's on the charger, and displays an "Unknown" Battery Status within the Stock Rom of my Motorola Droid A855.
A New one - which still displays an "Unknown" Battery Status.
I had the 4.1 Jelly Bean rom on my droid until this happened. Then switched back to the stock rom.
Before any battery issue happened - Nothing wrong was going on until the old battery completely died. Ever since then, the 4.1 rom would send crazy battery statuses (1% one moment, 54% the next - after I rebooted it). Then, the battery stopped working all together - Unless I kept it on the charger.
With the new battery, it says 1% (in the 4.1 rom). It seems to last way longer than 1% (without the charger of course). If I reboot the phone While the charger is in, it'll say 56%. Reboot it without the charger again, back to 1%.
If I take the battery out of the phone with just the charger (all chargers except one), the phone will stay on and display a fake battery charge number. Keep in mind, this is all within the 4.1 rom.
When I return to the Original rom, the battery status is "Unknown" - However, the Battery Level of the phone states that it's at 60%. No matter how long it stays on the charger, the 60% doesn't seem to change.
I'm currently using a charger that was Not originally for the Motorola Droid. However, before any battery issues occured, the battery would successfully charge on this charger.
Is there Anyway to fix this Unknown battery status? May someone Please help me..?
