[Q] turn off mobile view ?

Hi is there any way to turn off mobile site view in stock sgsII browser ?
Of course just uncheck mobile view.

The thing is that I can't find that option in the browser :/ I had it on my desire, but on sgsII it's nowhere to be found
I think you'd have you key in
about:useragent
Alternatively, just use dolphin or sky fire. nicer, better.

[Q] Is there a way to export/import brower favorites ?

Is there a way to syc favorites with pc/firefox etc, or export the urls from the webos browser?
thanks
There is an inexpensive app for bookmark sync with opera bookmarks via OperaLink. (You can import your firefox bookmarks easily into opera )
On the TP you will end up starting this app for using those bookmarks as well - which is not bad as the webos browser does not support folders etc. whereas this app does.
for me it's worth the money
t.
Another tip is to use delicious.com
Or you can use google bookmarks.

Bookmark Widget

I'm using Dolphin Browser for Pad for my Galaxy 10.1. I'm looking for a widget that adds a scrollable list of my internet bookmarks on my home screen.
Anyone have a suggestion??
Thanks!

We actually don't support Dolphin browser.
We contacted them and they currently don't allow third party apps to access their bookmarks list.
Yeah, I put all my bookmarks on the stock browser and then when I downloaded dolphin and made it the default browser the android pro widgets bookmark widget opened in the dolphin browser. I know it was one extra step but it works just fine.

Stock Bookmarks to Google Chrome for Android Beta.

I asked this question in the Sensation forums but it got no answers so I'm going to ask here too
Now I've updated to ICS I thought I'd test Chrome for Android. It's better than the stock browser but there is just 1 thing annoying me about it, it won't read my stock browser's bookmarks.
I've searched around but I'm unable to find out if it's possible, so I'm going to ask the great people of XDA. The question is - can I get my stock android browser's bookmarks into the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder in the Chrome for Android Beta?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Anybody?? :-(

Your stock browser bookmarks should be listed under desktop bookmarks.
Nope, only bookmarks that show up in there are my Chrome bookmarks from my PC.

Sorry about that. My bookmarks must show up under desktop because I enabled bookmarks sync with my gmail account.

Which Browser?

I am currently using the stock and the Opera mobile, looks like the former got too many bugs least of which is that can't locate my device for attachments and also doesn't show certain links.
On the other hand the Opera seems stopped supporting Adobe Flash player so no plug ins.
Any browser out there that can do all of this without problem?, thanks.

I find Boat to be the most functional, lightest, and quickest.
Before I just use Dolphin HD but now after all the Mobile and desktop bookmarks are sync I just go all the way Google Chrome
Using Maxthon browser for almost 8 months now, won't ever change it, it is the best browser for me, try it.
Maxthon,ok will give it a try, still couldnt find the perfect one..hope this one is better.
I tried Chrome, but for some reason it feels really laggy on the Note. It worked fine on SGS2 and GNex. So I'm just using stock, I hate the tab management but at least it works fine. Anyone have any browser with desktop/tablet style tabs?

With all their shortcomings I am back to using The Stock Browser and Opera Mobile these two seem to complement each other.
Anyway thanks for all the suggestions.
Best Browser with text reflow?
Opera Mobile renders pages very nicely but has bad Flash performance.
I'm on Stock right now but miss text reflow

Text reflow is not needed if you do a proper configuration in the stock browser's Settings ~ Accessibility.
