What is latest status? Is this still being actively developed? I haven't seen any movement from Alpha stage...or am I missing something?
I don't want to risk running a buggy alpha, otherwise.
thanks.
I believe I read that Alpha 3 will be released before the ICS builds start showing up. Someone said Alpha 3 will be out in 2 weeks, but I have no idea of that's true. I say go ahead and run the Alpha 2.1 build. It's not too bad and you can always go back to WebOS. Otherwise you'll be waiting 2 months for the ICS builds to start appearing.

I've read that the code written for GB will be usable/needed for ICS so my guess is they will want to get cm7 to the point where they can merge all that work into the code base so they are not starting the ICS port from scratch.
I just installed Cm7.1 on my TP and in "about phone" it says its 7.1 RC1. Hmmm...I thought it wasnt even beta yet. In fact the file I flashed is named a21.

2 Weeks.
lets just say that this is an extremely busy time of the year: Thanksgiving + major papers/exams + ICS release + push for CM7.2.
Let them work out their schedules first imo.

That has nothing to do with the TouchPad. CyanogenMod 7 is currently at version 7.1 across a large number of supported devices. That just means that the TouchPad port is based on the CM7 7.1 RC1 code base, not that there's any updated TP-specific version yet.

I finally did it. I've got T-Mobile WiFi Calling working on CyanogenMod 7.0.0 on the Nexus One!
Here it is, everyone!
UPDATE: Here's version 1.3, everyone! I apologize for the delays, I've been having technical issues the past few days. But, alas, I've pulled through, and made it happen! Here is a proper, signed update.zip for you all. It will work on CyanogenMod 7 RC3, and the "new" nightlies, build 31 and up!
IMPORTANT: THIS IS FOR T-MOBILE USA CUSTOMERS *ONLY* -- IT WILL NOT WORK OTHERWISE!
NOTE: THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON THE *OFFICIAL* CYANOGENMOD NIGHTLY BUILDS. IF YOU ARE NOT USING THE *OFFICIAL* BUILDS, UNFORTUNATELY, I CAN NOT HELP YOU.
For more details and the download itself, click the link below!
Version 1.3
CHANGELOG
1.3 - Update 3 (03/29/2011)
Updated to work with CyanogenMod 7 RC3, and the "new" nightlies, build 31 and up
Commented out "ro.ril.enable.3g.prefix=1" in build.prop, as this is not the default CM7 behavior.
1.2 - Update 2 (01/30/2011)
Changed my script to accommodate for the changes made to the build.prop file in CyanogenMod itself
No need for flashing 1.0 then 1.1 anymore, the necessary changes are in CM itself now
Use with build 21 and up
1.1 - Update 1 (01/22/2011)
Necessary changes integrated into CyanogenMod thanks to @cyanogen
Makes life easier (for me, at least)
Allows GPRS over WiFi -- Fixes MMS, other things
1.0 - Initial Release (01/18/2011)
Built from CM sources as of 01/17/2011
Sweet
Great, thank you
I finally did it....I compiled CM 8 before Cyanogen did....and even before Google released it. Will post shortly......... lulz!!!

Any word if CM7 will be released in beta or RC? Since ICS just came out, will GB be scrapped? I havent installed GB on my Touchpad yet, debating on if I should wait or not.
I believe they said they'd get CM7.2 out, but then they were switching to CM9 (ICS).

I'd rather than see those developers not to spend their valuable time on CM7 and to get the CM9 out sooner.
Thanks to the developers!
This is what we have all been waiting for. CM 9 android 4.0 Alpha Rom for the motorola photon. I have it loaded on my phone and the only known issue is the camera doesn't work. Download at your own decreation.

This is still an alpha and a lot is not working, I would not make this sound like the official version is out. Just a suggestion.
Is this post necessary at all?
been running it for almost s day its not bad at all. its so different from gb. worth it
Most everything is working and yes this will become the official cm version once I finish fixing a few more build issues. Cm7 for the photon was unofficial as well due to bad timing.

Will be sweet to see the photon listed on cyanegenmod webpage as a supported device... It is quite possible doing so could cause a greater popularity for the phone..?

I don't have a whole lot of experience with CM. What does this mean that it will become an official cm version? Does that mean it'll be a device listed on the CM website?

Can anyone share the working ICS for motorola photon with no issues,..
Please do the needfull friends!............
There is none. The ICS are all bases on the CM9 beta that jokersax release.

I noticed on BBQ Logs, there is verison 10.1 showing nightlies and changes for fascinatemtd. Is that rom downloadable yet? I know JT has a preview build on Rootzwiki. Thanks

I believe it's posted here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=fascinatemtd
All of the downloads say CM10. I don't see any CM10.1. Yet in some other threads I see people using CM10 4.2. Anyone know if it was upgraded in a regular CM10 nightly, and if so starting with which one?

I'm pretty sure they aren't merged. There are only preview builds (i think) out there right now for the Fascinate. Nothing official.

there isn't any 10.1 for fascinate the bbq thing he saw is actually for galaxysmtd. there is how ever a 4.2.1 unofficial build which was pretty good for an alpha build but i went back to regular nightlys because allot of games and apps don't run on it yet namely navagon maps etc also im trying to decompile the mms.apk like on 4.1.2 to receive full mms pics
i maybe wrong but thats what i saw so far.have a great day.
There is a unofficial build for 10.1 for fascinate on wikirootz. Jr is supporting the thread. But as of now we are not officially on the nightly list for 10.1. Check out the roots thread. Jt just dropped a update yesterday.

I saw on Android Police over the weekend that the AOKP Team has finally released Milestone 2 of their 4.2.2 rom and it now includes all the GS4 variants.
I was wondering when someone might be posting about how it's working for them.

AOKP team is on rootzwiki. BMC is the official maintainer who is also on rootz primarily. The thread last I checked was under unofficial ports under the team section. It may have moved to official since I last checked. I stopped crack flashing everything when I actually released my 2 projects, been too busy to crack flash

I mentioned it simply because I saw the Android Police article. And yes, it has moved into the official line up of supported devices as of 7/21. I understand the AOKP home is rootzwiki but thought it should be mentioned here with all the rest of other ROMs being developed.
Thanks!

Im curious on this as well as I saw the news today on it. I was waiting on CM to produce a stable version, but say this and thought it might be something to use in the mean time. Anyone have any experience with it?
Apparently it's available on goo?
However it says mr1 milestone-2. No dates. Is this it?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Turns out this is milestone 2. Annoying thing is the 4g icon on themes don't really stick.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Anyone else test this out .... would love to hear more feedback.
Why are so many people timid when it comes to installing ROMs?
Backup and flash. If you don't like it flash back. Easy peasy

Go to the rootzwiki thread, look for BMc's 7/14 build. Has working IR blaster. It isn't officially supported, so it's not in the milestone. Nothing is noticeably different between his 7/14 and the official milestone.
