use 245 to 1113 mhz will be perfect with battery life and performance with ondemand .. jus by the xperience used it only once but its nice !!

I'd leave the advanced tab alone unless you know what you're doing.

LCD wakeup lag

Hello
I have got stock rom 2.3.3 and it works fast, no problem with it.
I have only one problem. When i press the Power or Home button it takes 1 second to turn on the screen.... It is not a big lag but it is annoying.
Why? How to fix it?
Its a well documented firmware issue. Upgrade or flash a custom ROM and it goes.

no update available? I need to change rom?
Flashing a custom rom makes no difference. I suspect the baseband

Y u people no stop blaming baseband ?
It's a glitch in GingerBread that is fixed in ICS or Froyo
Defy-ing all limits.
Also fixed in AOSP without stock libraries.

As you have experimented.....
Defy-ing all limits.
I think the problem's with the cpu speed.. increase the minimum speed of your cpu.. this works for my ace.. good luck mate !

i dont think it is a problem of to slow CPU. It forks fast. But it is something like timeout for lcd. Which ROM dont has got this lag?
Best way for me would be to instal a patch/update becouse of waranty. I have got branded stock rom and i'm happy with it so far.. (fast, no resets)
Its a well documentated gingerbread bug ..... try Google ......

Please write out the words, that we can read it like a normal text! Don't only use shortcuts!
flash eXteneded stock kernel.
best and most popular governor is smartassV2
I use 249MHz min CPU freq and max 652MHz
652MHz is undervolted at 975mV
It runs really smooth with this much underclock! though I'm on GB right now....
Ya,should hav written it out full, sry.
But Im usin real ics...cant underclock...I hav to keep it @ 1184mhz,otherwise its gets stuck.or should I jst change the Rom....used miui, even it consumed a lot of batt.nu ideas....plz.

Underclocking depends on kernel, not ROM?
I've tried ICS. I have used it for a couple of months. But I then reverted to GB. It's faster, lighter, less resource hungry, no lags etc.
It's a matter of personal preference I think.
Try to choose a light ROM. With only a few performance scripts/enhancements, no excess/unnecessary apps. Real ICS as good as it is, is pretty heavy in my opinion.
~652 MHz ~ 247 MHz

Yup,seems lite though...anyway,read in a thread somewhere usin @1184 and 134 with noop scheduler is best for ics.don't know.tryin it out.
Heard jb is the lightest n best Rom out till date...:$

Um,btw...service menu is not opening.it used to come earlier, don't know what happened...it stopped comin after I installed this Rom(real ics)...any help plz

Doesn't make no sense to overclock to 1184MHz.....
And 134MHz actually drains more power then 249MHz. I really wish I could give you a link to see for yourself, but I read that some time ago.
134MHz and 249MHz run on the same voltage. But 249MHz gets any job done faster then 134MHz, thus using much less CPU time. And you won't have any stuttering when playing music while screen's off with 249MHz.
That goes for all kernels. All of them have 249MHz as default min freq. Execpt MESA, which seems fine with 134MHz as far as I've seen.
Anyway, please test for yourself. Get battery monitor widget (pro). It's THE best tool for batter monitoring etc.
Thanks,I'll try.

Battery life and benchmarks for Ktoonsez KTManta kernel

Post your benchmark results and battery stats and settings here. I know benchmarks aren't an accurate way to tell whether or not a kernel performs well, but I do find it fun to run benchmarks and see just how fast a device will score. Huge thanks to Ktoonsez for making his kernel for this device! :good:
Ktoonsez "KTManta" kernel can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34687664

setcpu
before kernel flash 4900, after kernel flash, 4400 twice.
Not using setcpu or anything else, so I'm sure I'm in balanced mode. Still....it went down... bummer

I usually use either setcpu or rom toolbox pro if kernel doesn't come with an app. There are quite a few cpu control apps on playstore.. Ktoonsez has an app that comes w/ his kernel on GS3 so thinkin he may make it in this but its very new. This is just build #1. Can't wait till oc is added!! Its gonna be great.

[SOLVED] Xperia Mini Lag

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my XM, which I didn't had before, huge lag. I have Unlocked BL(which I intend to relock, but I dont know how) I have custom kernel, I overclocked to 1.6ghz, still lagged, and I have no idea what to do anymore, i uninstalled about 10 apps from my phone, usually I have 100mb free ram. Any idea what to do?
Try to Factory Reset
Sent from my ST15i using xda premium
If you are using a custom Rom, then best option would be to do a factory reset in recovery mode and still if the problem continues then switch back to stock Rom of Xperia mini .

Yes it will remove all the apps but u can make a backup using tb.
Just a advice...plzz don't overclock your device above 1.4 ghz as it may burn your cpu( I don't recommend oc and don't even do it)...if possible keep it near to 1.2 to 1.4 ghz and don't exceed it....

How can i Overclock my X10i?

I saw some kernel wich is able to me to get 1228Mhz.But the default is 988Mhz sooo +240Mhz not a big thrust...So are there any way to get about 1,6Ghz or something like that?! I dont rly care about battery life! I have a Samsung i5800 (Galaxy3) and its CPU on default as i can rembember 688Mhz ... i use it on 1,4ghz...and theres no any overheat! So i think i cant fry the cpu!So i want to overclock my X10i...btw are there any way to overclock the GPU (Adreno 200) too?

Its possible!--" I saw someone have 1401Mhz CPU speed....
Try go search all X10 kernels... Look at all the kernels' functions / features...
You might find out your ideal kernel and overclock your X10i to 1.4Ghz...
But honestly, you don't need so fast speed on this phone...
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
If the led turns white and the phone reboots, then the frequency is to high.
Highest I've seen was 1228 but not many chips can run that fast for long.
I stay at a stable 1190.
