I think the question was "Can we repartition memory to make the B&N partition smaller and the user partition bigger" Was that the question?

I would suggest to the mods that no one with less than x(put your number here) posts should be able to start a new thread in this section.

On bootable sdcards I find boot, flashing_boot, MLO, u-boot.bin. What I would like to know in what order are they initiated. Also what is each called. example: xxxxxx.xxx = ramdisk. I hope this is clear enough.
Ah okay. I wasn't sure if you needed help getting an sdcard set up or not.
I'd check the thread for CM7 in development if you haven't yet, possibly post the question if there's no answer here and pop into IRC and ask if you want.

Thanks for the lead.
Well I am currently running ELEGANCIA 4.1 ( ATT ) and i was wondering if i need to do a full system wipe to upgrade, or if it was possible just to upgrade the changes?
The 4.2 Version
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2023889
If anyone knows, please let me know. Also if would be my first update, is there anything I should know before I do it?

This is precisely why you are not allowed to post there right away.... If you read the thread and instructions it says that Steve will clearly state if one is needed. If you go through the final pages you can see he clearly states it should not be needed.

well i have noticed that, other threads with custom roms post the update details on the main page. Just havnt seen it with this one, and I would rather not have to format the whole sd card just to update a few things.

Like I said in the last part of my statement. It SHOULD NOT be needed
I can't post in the dev section either, I'm new here. How many post do I need before being allowed to post in dev threads?

You should never have to format the SD card to install or update a ROM. All custom recoveries I know of are capable of wiping the entire /data partition except /data/media (this is where your HOX+ "SD card" is located) when the Factory Reset/Wipe Data option is selected. So I wouldn't worry about that in the future.

You don't "put" anything. You select from a list. Try it first - then ask.

This script is compatible with 05mountext and 10apps2sd available in init.d MiniCM nAa JB Rom?
Please note that phone MUST be rebooted twice after instaling this script for it to work correctly.

I would remove them so that they can't be activated by mistake.

Thanks for the confirmation!
Maybe script should be updated to move not only com.android* and com.htc* but also com.sony* data to /sd-ext (internal)? :good:
What do you think?
EDIT: Yair, you should add also original XDA link in OP: [MOD][AD2SDX][ALPHA02] New Data To SD-EXT Mod - AMARULLZ DATA TO SD-EXT [OCT-20]

I'd keep everything in /data/data on internal.

Guys please,
Any use of the sdcard shortens its life.. So the only way to make your sdcard last forever is not to use it.
If it bothers you that much get a phone that doesn't have an sdcard.
Seriously you are making fools of yourselves.

Chrissy you are always complaining about how laggy your sdcard is with every different method of a2sd.
The problem is your sdcard. We know already. You've told us at least 10 times now!
Aren't you tired always posting the same thing?
I am new to the g3 and I found bump witch from my understanding just installs TWRP recovery. If I decide to later on go to philz or another can I just change it by either using flashiy or fastboot commands?
Right now all we have is TWRP. Development for our phone is still in early stages. Get comfortable with searching the forums.

Some advice, this is the wrong place for questions. Unless you are developing for the phone I would not post in this section.
