The screen on my 10.1 shattered a while back and I've been trying to find a replacement digitizer online but have had some issues. I have one of the ones that were handed out at Google I/O and I think that it's the European model. When measuring the digitizer that came with it it's about 1cm wider and taller than the US version. Has anybody else with an I/O Tab purchased a new digitizer online? What version should I get for the size that mine is?

My GTab took a face plant a couple weeks ago. That gave me a good excuse to pick of a Moto Xoom, but my daughter would like my GTab. Anyone know of where or how I can get a replacement glass for this? I'm assuming it is not just regular glass, but I could be wrong, of course.
Is it the outside glass or the internal LCD? I believe the exterior glass is the digitizer panel. I'm not sure anyone has found a replacement for that but I could be wrong. I remember seeing a thred on it when I was searching for information on replacing a broken LCD panel.
Somewhere on the VS site in the specifications I found a number for the screen -- it's made by a company in China as you would expect. If you can find that number, you
might be able to get it through a wholesaler over there. NOTE: The g-tablet screen
is thinner than regular ones so you have to have the exact model.
You might check the long thread about replacement panels (not the current ones, an
older one from back in November/December for the number.
Also, what about sending it to VS for repair?

Managed to break the SAMOLED display on my SII, font glass seems fine (good ole gorillia glass!) but I think the digitizer might be damaged too since there are a few dead touch spots (from what I can tell) on part of the screen. There is only a small corner of the actual display working so it's pretty shot
So my question to you guys is where can I get quality yet decent priced parts for the SII? It's an i9100 (originally from Orange UK but being used in New Zealand) I had a look on ebay but all the sellers are selling stuff in the $200+ NZD price bracket (160 USD) I was hoping to get something for under $150 NZD.
Due to the doubt factor of damage to digitizer I'll get a LCD/Digitizer combo, i'm just not sure what's best and where is good to buy from. I bought the phone 2nd hand and i'm happy to take (working) 2nd hand parts to fix it.
So where to buy from and what's a good price?

I plan on buying a new digitizer to replace the one on my phone since I manged to scratch it just before my screen protector arrived (there was a backlog of undelivered parcels at my post office, my screen protector should have been there BEFORE my phone -.-)
I'm pretty comfortable with the process of replacing the digitizer, but I've got a quick question (maybe not so quick to be honest.)
We should have all seen (and most likely drooled over) the new colours being released, I was wondering if a digitizer from the US Sprint or Verizon variants of the s3 would fit my uk/international s3? I'd love to get my hands on the silver digitizer and back plate, but I don't want to fork out £200 to find out it doesn't fit!
Is there anyone who could shed some light on this? would carrier specific radios be located on the back of the digitizer or something?

Today my RAZR fell down from a quite high distance and the screen (just glass) is cracked... The phone, however, responds to every touch and all the images are displayed correctly. I've got some questions: What is necessary to buy to repair that glass? Do I have to buy the lens with LCD, with digitizer or flex cable...? I don't know anything about this... Does anybody here know ANYTHING about this phone? I can get it for about 30$ from a friend. The problem is it's screen is shattered and I can't replace it because official s3 parts wont fit in this ugly housing. I was thinking about replacing it's whole body for the official one and then replacing screen glass but I'm not sure if parts will fit. This prototype appeared on the internet about 3 weeks before official s3 premiere so I hope it's in fact a final hardware design. Every help/info is appreciated.
