[BRICKED] Please help with original firmware

Dear friends!
My Sony Tablet S is bricked, I cannot doing anything now, all I can now is accessing recovery mode.....I need an original firmware for Sony tablet S, please help me if you have. I have tried some update firmware... but it's not works. Please help me, my tablet is like a brick now..
Dear neo.sys,
if You have only root your tablet and not find in this forum a file to recovery from sd card your system (there are some file that you can test searching in similar problem) You can only attend a Sony tablet upgrade to ICS and search again in this forum....
but if You are in valid assistance period contact with email Sony assistance (say it only the problem that You have not cause) and they retired your tablet and repair it free of charge; for now is this....
...
That's mean I will put my tablet S back in a box and waiting for next upgrade?
I just bought it yesterday....what the...!
I have updated 3.1 with OTA, root and using SystemApps Remover to remove some system application. And now.. it's brick. Is there any way to get back in the original firmware? (My original firmware is broken also)
Totally dead??

The question is - have you made 'rescue-backdoor'?
(lower value of build.prop incremental)
If yes - we can help you. If no - wait for ICS.

...
Dear Condi and Gonzo!
Thanks for your reply, I think may be it's unlucky day of me
1. I do not making a 'rescue-backdoor'
2. I have tried using Receovery Mode to factory resetting it. It's worked but system program (that I remove it when using System Apps Remover) do not exits, because I remove S-launcher so.. I cannot access a home menu.... Can not doing anything.
This is my About Tablet S
Android Version 3.2.1 (Release 2)
Kernel 2.6.36.3
Build NUmber THMAS0012400
Is there anyway for re-flashing this tablet with original factory firmware? I don't need ICS, only need 3.2 ....

Boot your tab in normal way, if it boots ok, even without stock launcher, with black-screen, it should still be accessable via adb.
Check if 'adb shell' works. If yes - it can be fixed easly.

Dear Codi!
Yes, I adb shell work... Please show me how to fix it... I'm very appreciated that
Do you have the status bar (with the wifi and battery indicators) on the bottom of the screen after deleting data and reset to factory from recovery and reboot?
If yes, you can access the paremeters menu and choose "accessibility". You will be asked if you want to download an accessibility app. Say yes and you will be in the market. Ask for a launcher of your choice and install it. Then you will be able to install a text editor, edit build.prop and get an OTA update but be carefull, you may download the unrootable kernel 10!
Maybe you can also ask here for the s-launcher APK and install it from recovery with adb... I can't retrieve it since my tablet isn't rooted (kernel 10)...
Good luck!
Sorry Condi, I haven't seen that you're handling the thing because I was typing my post while you were answering!

Does anybody here have s-launcher APK? I really need it and please show me how to install it from adb
I really hate this ...
first ignore every hint regarding backdoor and recovery ...
did deep changes in the system and brick the device ...
afterwards crying and asking for support (our time) ...
OMG ... first of all you can go to the Google Play market and install from there a alternative launcher like GoLauncher HD and RootExplorer ...
In a next step you can ask here for the original s-launcher file and copy it back to /system/app
but to be honest ... how du.. must I be to delete the only launcher on a system?
@Condi
Good morning my friend .. how are you?
I admire your helpfulness ...
but IMHO we should ignore such a lazy guy if they ignore all our hints.
Have a nice day and best wishes to Magda.
done.

Hi neo.sys
I hope now you have learned from it ... take the time and read our hints...
implement ALL rescue and recovery steps from Condis awesome AIO tool ...
Would you play with your new car ... dismount the breaks .. and drive to the next highway?
Be careful with your new device and respect our private time and effort ..
it is only our hobby and we get no money for the support ...
@Condi
I have a bad mood today .. maybe the reason why I am so impolite

Now, before you make any system modifications - run AiO tool, and make rescue-backdoor. It will give you possibilty to reflash your current firmware,
if you will mess something.

[Q] please help me!l!

I have a galaxy s2 that I adore and am very rarely away from it for more than 5 minutes.
A few months ago a mate rooted for me so He could install some free software he had (I never bothered with it in the end!)
I let my phone do an update a few nights ago and it got as far as saying your phone will reboot, after that all I got is the Samsung Logo and it flickers a bit???????? Is this a boot loop?
I've tried to get to the reboot screen where I can delete user data but get the same flickering screen?
I can get to the screen with the android logo and and downloading below it. I believe this to be the odin screen? I've read that is where you can flash new firmware onto the phone?
I work with computers everyday so I know my way round windows etc but what I could really do with is instructions on what to download to my pc, which firmware version I need and how to get it onto my phone?
I've read a bit about kernels?? I thought he was the fried chicken guy!
I'm on Uk Vodafone and I'm not bothered about losing any program's or settings that I have on my phone.
Please please help I go away with work on Monday and I'm dreading going with my spare Nokia
I'll happily buy a beer or 2 if someone can help me without me pleading dum to Vodafone support
Thanks v much

Guides here (there's a bootloop thread link in that thread which might be able to solve the bootloop problem for you).
Here is your solution.... Since you do not bothered losing ur settings application and sms... Contacts...
First of check your mobile box and see the version.. Is it GT I9100 OR GT I9100G
Let me tell you one more thing... The screen which you can see with android logo and written "downloading " below is called DOWNLOAD MODE.
Steps to follow..
1.Download the stock rom from sammobile.com for your country... Go for release version 4.0.3
2. Download odin version 1.85 its an windows application so copy it to your pc.... And run it..
3.the extension of downloaded stock rom will. Tar or. Md5 if it is rar then see the content inside.. You have. Tar
4. Now go to download mode volume up, power button and home button..
5. Attache your mobile to your computer using data cable...
5.1 make sure you have no kies services running.
6 open odin.. In that you can see pda section give the path of stock rom on your computer.. Don't change any setting in odin.
7. Do start..
Done... One more thing by this you will lose your rooot so tell your friend to root again

Do this if you have lost all hope:
Go to http://www.archos.com/support/support_tech/updates_fwm.html?country=us&lang=en and choose archos 97 titanium and flash that ROM.
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE IT WORKS!

I believe you can seek for assistance at the onda website as Archos models are originally manufactured by Onda. I am not sure which model is compatible with archos 80 titanium!! Hope your tablet still lives

Haven't found any custom rom but at least you can remove bloatware with root.

[Q] archos 79 xenon freezing at the start-up logo

I tried to root my 79 xenon using frama root, it worked but a few days later my 79xe keeps freezing on the start-up logo " archos entertainment your way". I contacted the store where I bought this tablet and they told me that they need the stock firmware to fix this problem. I have searched but nothing found, also no reponse from archos customer service. I would be greatfull to you if anyone can provide me the stock rom of Archos 79 xenon.

A list of official firmwares available.
I hope the firmware will availble soon . Can I extract the firmware from the others ?

No, you can brick your device easily by doing that. The only ways to bring it to work is to send it to the authorized Archos service or to ask support for assistance.
Recovering from start up freeze.
I bought this tablet and root it using kingo root. The tablet froze at the welcoming display the next day and the only solution I discovered is to boot into then recovery (vol up + power on) and execute a factory reset. It boots OK and kept the root.
Now it is the 2nd day and I am keeping my fingers cross.
Have anybody found the reason why? And anybody with a link to a recent stock firmware.
Derek
I know the thread is a little bit old, but hopefully this would help someone someday. I did fall into a bootloop with the Archos 79 Xenon while I was trying to deodex its ROM.
Here's the link to the firmware of the Archos 79 Xenon as provided by their support. I'm downloading it currently, so I can't really tell if it is the original 4.2 or an updated one.

[Q] Am I Bricked/SoftBricked, Or lose my OS ? Please help.thanks

Please be patient,& Gentle with me, I'm new here,,, (TY) Hi, I have a Pantech P9060 (old I know ) Android 2.3.4 , Gingerbread( Stock Rom). It's rooted. It will turn on, load in the boot screen- and stop there, and if I touch the power/menu keys, it will start the loop acting boot process, without re-starting the phone , just continuous boot screen. I have changed the boot screen probably 3/4 times from the original AT&T screen using Jimmy Rummel apps, Rom Installer . I've tried returning back from backup, Titanium Pro, I backed up to google drive as well, but regardless I can't seem to reset to factory( which I've done before), or even update, Nothing.. It's so frustrating. I've searched these forums inside out for a solution as to not bother you guys with my old phone issues, but I have to admit, I need help with this. I don't think it's hard bricked, I'm thinking I may have flashed the wrong Rom( im not sure though) trying to upgrade from 2.3.4 .. Not positive though. I sure hope there's someone to help me here, It wont connect to the PC syncing, Pantech PC Suite, yet my pc shows the phone in Device Manager and Computer. So I'm hoping I've done something simple, :/ stupid,,but simple. Anyone help me out ? Rooted Apps & System info/apps on my phone are in a File Manager > xposed, bootmanager, clockworkmod, rom mod installer pro, Titanium Pro, and others...Can it someway be just flashed to a new rom of some version? :crying: Thanks in advance.......

Don't think that there are any custom updates. I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IOQJJCSKC4 - Sorry it's not in English, but it's the only thing I found that actually had a download of the rom. Even Pantech doesn't seem to have anything besides the manual and drivers for it.
Thanks

If the device powers up but is not able to boot into the operating system, that is referred to as a soft brick.
