Are any of our devs fapable of making an app for this?
So we can use the headphones to hear music, and use the mic to talk when we get calls

Does it use bluetooth? I don't see how we can connect to the headphones since it uses a usb adapter to connect.
I think its IR
Or an maybe bluetooth 2.0??
Ps3 only has Bluetooth 1.0 I think..idk hahaha..

"Also, it’s not bluetooth, so you can’t just pair it with your PS3. Instead you must use a USB dongle to connect the device via 2.4GHz RF band."
Does tge phone have RF?

I picked up a HD dock this week Monday. When I am playing audio via any app about once a song the dock will sudden stop playing out of the speakers and play out of the phone. It lasts about 2 seconds I tried a few other speakers and headphones and they all do it. It is not a bid deal it is just annoying.
anyone else have this issue or did I get a malfunctioning dock?

Very strange! No, I haven't had this happen to my dock.
Just for the heck of it, try blowing on the hdmi port on the phone and dock, uplug the hdmi cord from both tv and phone. restart the phone, turn off the tv, blow on the hdmi cord on both end, and try again. double check the connection.

If not try another app to route audio over bluetooth.
Let me know if they work.

With just the 3.5 audio in it does it. I just need to bring it back and have it swapped. No matter what I try it does it...

I got my dock yesterday and everything is hooked up as it should be- BUT, I NEVER get the option to select webtop from the app picker. My choices are gallery, music & mirroring. Is there something else I need to do for this to work?
Nevermind....
EDIT: POWER PLUG MUST BE PLUGGED IN TO ENABLE WEBTOP

Go into your application tray and click webtop connect, or try from settings. This is my own guess, as I don't have a dock.

Done that- doesn't help. It pulls up "websessions" for which there are none.

I'm looking to access PC's internet and pass it to the Phone. Is this possible for our phones?
There are a number of cheap usb wifi adapters that can double as access points.
I'm guessing you have a laptop with mobile internet?

I have wifi at home but at work, I get no signal (data or voice) and wondering if I can connect via USB. I don't have wifi at work.
Yeah they'd probably have issue with you wirelessly broadcasting their internet.
Bluetooth however would work and is cheap. And won't interfere with the network at all.
I've read else where on xda that people have gotten it to work, but the only instructions were for linux, and I got a feeling your work computer is xp.
How easy? Alot depends on the operating system and bluetooth adapter.

Maybe I'm retarded or the rom does not support it.....
My HP tp on cm7 and my android phone. Want to pair them and connect. I can pair, but not actually connect. Any thoughts? Or is it a system.limitation on android on the HP?

I also had same problem with my last android phone.
Sometimes it is possible that bluetooth devices are not compatible.
I had a motorola which I wasn't able to connect it to my Macbook Pro...
I hve Samsung galaxy 2 for T-Mobile and on web os it connected.
It depends on what you are actually trying to do. My phone pairs but doesn't "connect" but when I send a file through bluetooth, then it connects accepts the file and then disconnects.

I wanted to do.the text messaging on tablet while connected to the phone. Like I said on webos it worked. Android side not so much. As for file transfers I haven't seen that work yet
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
As far as I know android doesn't have this built in by default. You need an app to do that. I use DeskSms on my phone to do this.

Mine pairs but says it doesn't connect. When I share a file through bt to the tp it accepts it and transfers.

Has anyone used Bluetooth headphones while streaming on wifi? If so what are ur results because I tried speed test and wifi/bt on and connected to my bt headphones was 3mb up and 5 down then with wifi on bt off in the same place was 24 up 8 down I have no clue why?

They share the same radio frequency, like most laptops do.
Is there any fix
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
You use one at a time only? Since they transmit via the same radio channel. The same applies to laptops aswell.
Any way to share 3g to my computer, maybe an app or mod? Thanks WiFi tether works with my laptop but not with my desktop

U can't plug it in and have it work that way. U have a router? Plug desktop into router and WiFi tether like that. rofit?:
you could try pdanet, it allows for wireless usb and bluetooth and so long as you don't need ssl its free
Wait... So I can use my phone as a modem/router for my Xbox 360? No... Too good to be true. Especially after I have a WiFi adapter in the mail.
Um... Laptop, crossover cable and network bridge. Not as hard as it sounds either. You could also use a router with tomato or ddwrt and route the xbox that way lol
Yeah... Have no computer at home so... Need Mac guyver to rig me something up with an alarm clock and a crack pipe. Bam! Turns into a WiFi adapter! So awesome!
Well that sucks...Wait a minute, alarm clock and crack pipe? Stop trying to blow things up Salamanca
