[BOUNTY] Ice Cream Sandwich - G Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm one of the proud owners of a viewsonic G Tablet, and I want ICS. I want you 'points' to help to make a great and powerful tablet that only costs about $260, and MOST IMPORTANTLY I WANT IT TO HAVE ICE CREAM SANDWICH!
To the point: I am offering $40, and I urge other users to put in a pledge for as little as $1, to make an ICS rom with all the hardware working, full usb functionality, and hardware acceleration by the 20th of December.
Features needed to be included:

-Hardware [email protected]
-Camera [email protected]
-USB working with external storage*
-Cyanogen style settings with lots of options
-Equalizer if its not in the OS*
-WiFi working nearly [email protected]
-The internal storage and memory recognition issues [email protected]
-HTC Sense Weather style widgets *OPTIONAL*
-MIC working (Goes hand in hand with Camera working)
-Face Unlock working with camera (IOW: if there is an issue when the os is first ported it needs to be fixed before release)*
-HTC Style mirror app
-Overclocked CPU to [email protected]
-Sleep button/standby/screen off not crashing the [email protected]
-Newest Market
-Backup working*
-Any other goodies you can think of and/or people really want and offer rewards for below

Count me in...but I think this is a pipe dream!
From what I understand reading many posts here is that Nvidia will not release the hardware drivers for Honeycomb or ICS. Viewsonic has given up on this product.
Even if people manage to port, it will only be a funky interface running on Gingerbread or Fryo drivers. It will be like running Windows 7 on a Pentium III 500MHz hardware....it will run but wont be the same.

You guys are obviously uninformed. The flashback team is already working on it for free, but they just started a few days ago. The kernel also needs to come out of alpha testing, it seems to be going well though, not too many bugs, so that means soon (like in 3 weeks max) we will have at the very least honeycomb 3.2, if not Ice cream sandwich. Also money won't make it go any faster.

Seeing that .36 kernel is already in the works for Honeycomb 3.2, they are already working towards making something that should be able to port over to ICS afterwards (hopefully).

People...it's already being worked on! The devs working on this are going as fast as possible but it's a lot of trial and error and it's not their day job!
Money's nice, but it's like a tip. A show of appreciation, more than an incentive. The incentive is just to have it on their own devices!

-HTC Style mirror app - ?

-Sleep button/standby/screen off not crashing the [email protected] - Will get fixed. This is kind of a "first fix" for the devs as it causes problems in development anyway.

*1: Please keep in mind that as these ROMs are not registered as compatable devices with Google, technically the use of any Google application is illegal. For the most part ROM devs aren't supposed to include Market, Gmail, etc. in their roms. If Market is included or what version is going to be up to the dev. Also, keep in mind Google has been working to crack down on Market use on non-recognized devices. You may need to use an alternative like the Amazon App Store. I don't like it either, but it is what it is.
Also, on a personal note, WHAT is everyone's deal with the built-in camera? From what little I've used of it in a Gingerbread ROM it's HORRIBLE! Now, what I'm going to work on once we have a stable enough ROM I feel I can test with, is the ability to use a USB webcam! Think, how nice would it be to have it front or rear facing or detachable (use as a barcode scanner?!) and possibly HD! I'm pretty sure it can be done as I think the guys working with beagle board have done it. I'm not very good with this stuff yet, but I think I may be able to hack it!

I'm pretty sure ch3vr0n5's working in either HC or ICS right now.
My cam worked in VeganTab ginger. Still pix only...video.....attempted to work...yeah.
That was a while ago.
