I have both the KF and the NT? Both have auto correct selected. The NT does not ever offer to auto correct and does not show a word suggestion toolbar above the keyboard. Both of these do show and work on the KF? Is everyone else out there having this same problem or is mine just messed up?

I was confused about why auto correct wasn't working. The keyboard shows that the option is enabled and so I expected it to actually correct mistakes. I was under the impression that I had done something wrong.
And for what it's worth, you definitely did not address my issue with auto correct in that thread, nor did you give instructions to use thumb keyboard.
Edit:
Whoever edited my post and removed the inappropriate portion, thank you.

Each keyboard is going to be a slightly different install, I have watched the chatter on that thread and it's nothing but productive. I can't write a guide for every possible permutation of every keyboard and configuration. Eh, i may have been a little short i guess, sorry about that.

I saw a post here last night about being ungrateful but it's not showing on my end this morning. I apologize if I have come off that way. I think the world of everything the members, particularly the developers of XDA, do. My comments from earlier were out of line.
Thanks for all of the continued hard work and I will do my best to not ask for etas or to become impatient when I am struggling with something.
The original reason for this topic was for me to try to understand why the stock keyboard is not auto correcting. I still have that same question. It now looks like even though it claims auto correct that it does not in fact have it built in. Has anyone had auto correct work on the stock keyboard? If not, that answers my question.
Thanks again for the help

Install Facebook 1.5.2 it doesn't need GPS to work. Its an old version but atleast you won't need an extra app or the ugly icon in ur status bar.

x1 freaking billion. Wtf, take TWO seconds and search people!!
I did search. I used the "search this forum" at the top. Two results came up, this thread and another just like it, without any information on how to make it work. I'm not going to search for hours in detailed advanced searches and read every post in an "issues" thread. If the search cannot find it, then I ask about making it work.
Certainly no-one held a gun to your head and made you come in here to read it.....
Just use the website. It works great as it actually is more usable thanks to its tablet formatting.
The newest version of the facebook app for Android looks like the old one for the iPhone right?
If you look in Development there is one that has a nicer icon.

EDIT... Just noticed your other thread asking the same thing. So I can understand the posts you got here, but since that was also one of the threads where I thought the answer was, your search for qualified assistance may require a bit more effort and politeness on your part, even if others are being rude.
Honestly, if you do a search and read a bit, like the forum rules say to do, before posting, you will find that this has been asked and well answered in another thread where name calling wasn't resorted to. Sorry I don't remember the answer, but I think it was just like flashing any other tab. Don't take that as a legit answer though because my memory fails often. I do know I have seen this asked and answered several other times though.
So for the best results do a search. Really, it works.

Why thank you good sir Benz
Then again, recovery mode has always been the straightforward thing to do, it's just timing, I did a little research on I/O edition to check for differences and it seems there is not much that's different, the recovery kickup is the same, Vol Down+ Power {When the device is off}, Then again, you shouldn't have USB plugged in when you do it as it conflicts with the key combo.
The thread I linked you describes the same method for kicking it into recovery, he is also an owner of an I/O series, I wish I had one to make it easier but sadly I can't see where your issue lies, but I am willing to stick by till you get this done right, Hope that helps.
Fitz

Well, the title of the post says it all
1 - Is there a cydia app like for android? Or all of the tweaks and stuff are only on the web and on Market (Google Play)?
2 - Is there a way to show my company carrier logo on the statusbar?
3 - Can I, through any method, change the display app name, in appgrid? Not in homescreen.
4 - Why if I dial *#7465625# nothing shows up? Depends of the ROM?
5 - Any way to have a better adjustement of the volume without depending on apps like Fime Volume Control?
6 - Any way to make the brightness minimum lower without depening on apps like ScreenDim?
7 - Any way to put a youtube video in video popup mode?
8 - Is there a tweak to put internal storage in mass storage mode? I know the one for external.
9 - How can I have a total control of the background app? I have tried advanced task manager, but as soon as I kill one process, for example Brower, it comes back itself within seconds. How can I control autostars of apps?
10 - Can I remap the buttons? For example, for a customize action when I long press the home button.
11 - How do the themes and mods work? On the iPhone the themes were images in folders, and the system images were in certains paths, so if I wanted to change something I just needed the correct path, even to make my custom images. How does all that work on android?
12 - How do I customize keyboards? Just installing new ones? Is that the only way?
Before answer me, please note, I am NOT a total noob, I perfectly know what root is, just like I know stock, CWM, and all of that. I have a custom ROM. I know about the system, I'm just new to it and because of that I dont' know where certains things are.
Thanks and sorry if anything is bad written, but english is no my native language.

Bumping is against the rules .

I'm going to try and answer your questions as much as I can.
1. Since each phone has its own specific mods and utlities there is no "universal app" like Google Play or Cydia. However there are a few apps for SGS3 like the Omega kitchen Files app (Play Store) and Kitchen Pro app which is locked to CheckRom.
2. This might be what you are looking for. https : //play .google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.infonetservice.phono
3.https : / /play. google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.guardam.AppNameEditor&hl=en App Name Editor on Play Store.
4. AFAIK some ROMs remove that "utlity"
5. AFAIK no but lets see what someone else has to say.
6. Same as 5
7. You could use a youtube downloader. There are plenty in Play store. I dont know of any other way.
Google and XDA have a ton of anwers if you search. This is not kindergarten
I'm terribly sorry about the bumping. I won't happen again. But then, how are people going to see my post if it goes under page 2 or 3?
Greatnesss, you have give me solutions for questions 1, 2, 3 and 4. Thanks very much.
About questions 5 and 6, let's wait for others and see.. I have seen something about the volume in this forum, some mod, but it was tooo complicated. I even tried it, but with no result.
About question 7, I mean to watch youtube in popup video, but live, not to download the video first (I like to watch long duration videos and sometimes I want to put them in an external mini-window to browse something at the same time, for example).
I still have no answers to questions 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Sorry, I forgot to number them :S
Thanks to all. You have help me a lot.

I think the problem your running into here is everything works differently than what you are use to in Apple products, most people here are Android addicts so they might not understand what cydia does, here is different its wide open instead of an app adding the correct files you do it yourself in adb and moding apks. There's a lot to read here if Apple was your starting point, there's much more that you can do with Android and everything you asked about is possible with some reading and time.
Good luck man, welcome to the community of unlimited options and opportunity.

So I tried to go from beans 1.8 to liquid smooth 2.5. Well I found it wasnt as easy as I thought. I thought I could switch roms and reinstall titanium back up and use the apps and data on the new rom. WRONG, so then I went to restore my beans backup, it was gone.
Am I correct in saying that the phone, system, twrp something creates a new file system for ne roms? Once I finally got back to beans I started looking around the file system and found a file labeled 0 within my sd card and it seems to be a mirror image of my original file. Any ideas?

It is posted in the OP of almost every AOSP ROM what to do when you go back to 4.1, you obviously didn't read the OP. I think its in droidstyles guide also but I may be wrong about that seeing as how I haven't checked it in a while.
No one knows all the terms; not me, not hopesrequiem, droidstyle, 1manwolfepack, kintwofan, or any of the others. The difference is we bust our asses to read everything before we jump in the deep end which you obviously didn't do. Its fine to ask questions if you need help or don't understand but there has been a large influx of brand new lazy users who do no research and want everything handed to them on a silver plate, making posts that show you barely read anything makes you appear like one.
Sorry if I butchered someone's name.

I understand and as I said it wont happen again. I had mentioned previously I had come from the samsung charge tweaked 3.2. Totally diffrent being able jump back and forth with it. But it was old and there where really no new roms available. So as you stated I jumped in feet 1st thinking things might be similar yet they are not. I did research and read. But not as thoroughly as I should and yes (I dont know any of your names) you all do put forth extreme effort in order to make the masses happy. And I will state again it is greatly appreciated.
I do not represent anybody other than myself in saying this, but coming from the device I had previously and it being so old and junping in feet 1st thinking I might be able to the same thing with this N2 is totally diffrent. So in turn questions where asked out of turn.
Every time i go to a mostly black screen (my homescreen is pretty bare and black) i notice that the screen dims the brightness slightly.
This happened with the stock rom and now again with GPE.
Auto-Brightness is if course disabled.
Reminds me of my old samsung TV which did the same unless i enabled the "movie mode".
It bugs me slighly, can i somehow turn it off?
Regards

Settings/display/brightness/adapt to lighting, try disabling that.

Answering without reading and understanding the question is kinda like diarrhea.

Is it a medical condition with you? Its in the OP.
Wow. He/she is trying to help you and you being rude to them is not going to get you anywhere. And no there isn't a hard wire and the only thing is the adaptive lighting.

He didn't read the question properly, twice. He has nothing to contribute, like you. You two are just wasting my time.
And yes, despite adaptive lighting being off it's still doing it to a small degree. If you dont notice it, fine. If you dont know why its doing it, fine. Just don't reply.

Hmm, someone needs to get laid
You seem to have pretty useless input over a range of device forums. Granted, i didn't read and answered in a rush, but you're just out for blood from anybody.
Hopefully you'll get as much help from the rest of the forum.

I have noticed the same "issue" as the OP and it slightly bugs me too. Whenever I go back to the homescreen with a dark wallpaper the screen slightly dims. And this has nothing to do with "adapt to lightning conditions" as I always have it off.
I guess it can be something related to the "contend adaptive brightness" feature that some phones has but that feature should only dim lighter backgrounds. I guess there's nothing we can do to prevent it from happening.

Holy ****, you're not making any friends around here.
What you have to do to solve this issue is to... search. I can't just give you the answer.

So other then your "social" comment, which is neither wanted nor in any way usefull, you are basically saying i should search.
Great advice, thank you!

Correct. I could give you the answer, but I don't help rude people, and I would say that you have to be rather dense if you ask people a question, insult them and then expect to get the answer. Great move, Mr. Hawking!

Oh, now suddenly you have the answer, right. PM it to dannejanne then since he has the same issue but was neither rude nor insulting.

Let's just say that I read a similar thread about a week ago. Not in the Ultra section, but in a model Z section (Z/Z1 etc.). I believe the answer was in that thread.
I'm not joking. That thread exists. You can either believe me and spend time looking for that thread, or you can ignore this and still have no answer.
