Hi guys, the thread is basically like the tittle. Why this rom is so slow with emulators and games, there is something missing? libraries? even with a Game Boy Color emulator the games are glitchin in some points with or without sound. Racing thunder or nova are the same...(even with the processor overclocked at 672MHz)
The ROM is CyanoCream Sandwich Lite.
I have installed chainfire3d...¿could be this part of the problem?

Are you using X10 mini/pro ?
If it so, you should be change the device to more high‐performance one or buy any gameboy
Because emulators needs a lot of ram for processing.
Cpu clock is important, but if don't have much of ram, it is no way to playing game with fun.

Your question is [Why CyanoCream Sandwich is too slow with the games?], right ?
How many roms did you tried to played games with emulators ? and which rom ?
If you think CyanoCream Sandwich is too slow, so was you considered which rom is faster with emulators ?
Because I don't think X10 mini/pro is not enough spec for emulation
Some time I'm playing Gangstar and Dungeon Hunter on CyanoCream Sandwich v2.0, but I don't think tooooo slow.
You know why ? They are no need any emulators processing !!

I have noticed that there are alot of games that run quite slow on wildfire and the same ones i have tested run smooth even on X10 mini !!! such as Paper toss and fruit ninja and angry birds !
I have even OC my wildfire but they still lag or are slow

Yes, we all know that. It's the way it should be. X10 mini has more powerful hardware than Wildfire which is lacking a dedicated graphics chip.
Did you want to ask a question?
X10's processor is almost 100mhz more than wildfire
And the point if this thread is...? We know the wildfire has no gpu which is why games run slower. If you're complaining about the lack of game support, maybe you should have thought before you bought this phone.

A little. Paper toss should run quite smooth with overclock.
guys dont go rush its not all hardware problem like processor or ram , u can compare the wildfire to htc magic u ll find that the wildfire has great ram over the magic and same processor ,however magic runs games smooth , the main problem is the screen resolution of the wildfire .

when i play angiry bird rio in my stock rom(gb 2.3.3) it too much lagy
But my friends Sony errission x8 it will play smoothly(x8 has same configuration of optimus one,HVGA resolution)
What is the reason for lagging and how it will solve
Flash some CM7 ROM + franco's v18.1 kernel and it will not lag.
Flash a custom rom, franco's kernel, overclock your phone and it'll get damn better
BTW don't expect any miracles with the heaviest levels, it will keep lagging a bit but it's not that hardware dependent, imho game physics have been developed very bad...
disable internet when you play it... it lags coz of ads which show up during game play!
don't use official rom from LG. you should use milk_os 's rom
i hv an ipod touch...the 1st gen...n it has a 425 Mhz processor...n it works smoothly...
it is the android touch bug..iOS is beeter coded...

FYI, iOS version of Angry Birds is much more optimized than Android version...
and FYI, there's Angry Birds lite that is an optimized android version and it soooo smooth that it doesnt lag in any level in stock lg froyo rom...
Is there any way we can play higher end games on the X10 without lag? Ive seen people on the forums say that some games suddenly stopped working. Games like Backstab, Asphalt 6, NOVA2, Dungeon Defenders, etc. But when I play these games it is pretty laggy. Am I missing something? I am on WB's Stock GB with Speed&Hotfix 005. My quad score is around 12xx
Edit: So after digging around the forums a bit, should I change to WB's 009 rom and use a custom kernel (I heard goro's 360 is the best?). Or should I stay with WB's Stock GB and flash goro's kernel? Which is faster? Which is more stable?

No custom kenrels for 2.3.3 for now.
Custom kenrels overclock our cpu so game performance increases i can easyly Play asphalt 6 on 2.2 with custom kenrel.
But game crashes on loading a race on 2.3

I have noticed games run differently on some rom's for example on cyanogen mod battleheart 1.2 runs smoothly while on Gingerreal it crashes all the time, so which ROM would be best for gaming? thanks alot.
I usually dont play games on my phone but we all tried angry birds and i'd have to say it worked best when i used CM7, was really laggy at some points when running gb.

I haven't really tested much but as far as I know it goes like GB(Codename 9, X-GAMER) > JB(CM10, AOKP) > ICS
Imo ICS is the least optimised for gaming, but bear in mind that I haven't really done any real benchmarks so I might be wrong on this, someone should back me up first
of course GB i better for gaming but i dont have mush problem with ICS:good:

I really dont know which one is fastest but bear in mind that JB needs more ram, and has many bugs.

well of course it depends on what kind of games are you playing...as guys/girls said JB uses more ram and its still under development, but if you have nice tuned ics its definetely better...i sugest you to take a day off for your phone and just try roms...it cant hurt and you will find the rom that suits you best
gb, ics generates as many compatibility problems or close by themselves.
apart gives you more free RAM
there are many ICS custom roms that good for games

CM9 , i.e. ICS and Jelly sandwich are pretty good RAMwise, and therefore good for playing games.
Moreover if you want a lag free gaming, close all background running apps before running games, as 512 MB is never enough RAM for gaming.

ohh..dear....i tested in JB and ICS both....ofcourse JB has good benchmarks..
but gaming experince is same in both......remember GB is best for gaming...otherwise u can buy PS3 or XBOX
