Hey guys, I just flashed the Ice Cream Sunday ROM and I found that this ROM is lack of notification sound. Could anyone make the stock's bubble notification sound for me?
Moreover, I'm facing another issue which is I cannot access my carrier's USSD code to check my sim status and others. It shows mr USSD Code error and blah blah blah try again later. At first, I thought it was the carrier's problem, in order to confirm it, I tried to access the USSD with another phone and I got that it could access it. How to solve it?

Hi,
i am using x10 for some time now and of lately i m experiencing the following problems
1) phone displays "no sim card" : i can make calls and receive.
2) while on the call the call disconnects and it is happening with all the calls. Its not a problem of the network though.
3) when i receive a call, there is no call id, the screen is blank and even doesnt show the call pick up slider.
Pls help me on these. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there, so yesterday I rooted my previously straight out of the box T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 using the xwkdd_insecure.tar (with odin and superoneclick - I am a complete noob by the way, but this seemed to work after I followed a YouTube video), so that I could then unlock it to use 3 Mobile (in the UK) which I am on - I had bought this phone brand new and sealed from eBay (someone's unwanted upgrade). I then went on to using the free ChainFire sim unlock app, and seems as though now my 3 simcard can be used fine. Then I went on to flash it by th using this file first - I9100XWKE7_StockKernel.tar - after seeing another YouTube video to purely debrand it but this only got rid of the yellow ! logo which appeared after rooting it, that is all.
So I then went on to using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1064894
in order to debrand it of all T-Mobile stuff, sjuch as the T-Mobile logo and trademark tune which came on after switching the phone on, and get it like a standard sim free/factory unlocked phone if you know what I mean. I used this file as mentioned in the link - I9100XWKDD_I9100XXKDH_I9100XEUKD1_HOME.TAR
The latter part of the guide goes on to entering #272*<IMEI># or something like that, but I have tried that all of the other alternatives and all I get is "USS code running" and like 2 seconds later the error message
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code" appears. I basically can't enter anything in my phone dial with # or whatever. What is wrong?
I have also noticed that whenever I call someone a message saying "Conditional call forwarding active" appears, but then proceeds to make the call okay. I have tried to disable and fiddle around with the call forwarding settings, but again, error messages come up when doing so.
What exactly is wrong and how can I fix it - I am a bit of a noob with all this....? It is surely something to do with all that stuff I have mentioned. Please help me as I honestly don't know how to go about fixing this. What is the most straightforward thing to do which will stop these messages?
Thanks in advance.
Any ideas guys please?
I think that in the code, where it says imei, you have to insert your imei number?
Not 100% sure though.

Hi mate, yeah I know that sorry I should have been clearer, I mean if I type in any code with # pretty much that message always comes up, like for finding my IMEI with #*06# though I can find it another way, and for speeddial etc
the combination is *#number code not only one of them or the other way round... (eg.: *#06# for imei)
Hey guys,
I'm using a GSM prepaid sim with my MoPho right now, and this sim gives me a network message each time I send a text or make a call which tells me my new remaining balance and call charge. This notification uses the default ringtone and also vibrates. How do I change this? At the least I would like to turn of the vibration since I have vibration turned completely off with everything else right now. Anyone know?
Thanks!
Strange....for many of us...that doesnt even work because lack of USSD support on Photon..
What ROM you are using ?
Well it doesent really work... It shows me a notification but the text is wrong. There is just a box like character and nothing else. But I still get the notification and a tone and vibration...
I'm running the latest stock rom, no root
Anyone have some ideas?
I haven't been able to find a solution from searching online, so I thought I'd check here.
I have a rooted Sanyo Zio running Android 2.2, kernel 2.6.32.9-perf, on Ting's service (a recently opened Sprint affiliate). Every so often, particularly when in poor reception, I receive notifications along the lines of:
[triangular caution sign]
Error Code 2048:
Network Busy.
Please try again.
Error Code 3000: Server Busy is also common.
These don't bother me much, as Ting just came out of beta and is working on ironing problems out.
However, these error codes are accompanied by an annoying chirp tone, which I want to disable. I've dug through the /system/media/audio folders looking for it, and can't find it. Does anyone know where this particular notification sound is, so I can kill it?
KG
I've contacted Ting support to see if they can resolve these errors on their end, but they may not be able to help since I've rooted the phone.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Hello
Ive noticed lately that the message i get while i make a call, i think it was "outgonig call forwarding enabled" or something like that, also the message of "Call is Waiting" in case the person im calling was already in a call with another person, doesnt work lately, even tho nothing has changed in the phone and i'm using stock ROM 4.1.2.
I've tried to find a solution for this problem before i decided to start a new thread for this problem.
I'll appreciate any help from you guys, and thank you in advance.
no idea guys?
I have just tried mine.
Uk tmobile with international s3. Have my own mc2 based rom with perseus kernel, mc2 btu csc and mc2 baseband.
Conditional call forwarding active message is displayed when I make a call.
Will test incoming call waiting when someone calls.
Make sure call waiting is checked in additional settings in call settings.
