Is it just me or is the status bar of CM7.2 has somewhat a line (not really noticeable from but can't help but stare on it)... I feel like the theme is ruined by that line.
Does anyone noticed it? or is it just my OCD are kicking in...
Change the theme then

This more of an opinion based question than anything but....a solid grey launcher??? How is that possibly an upgrade from the semi-transparent froyo launcher??? If anything they should have made it solid black to match the notification bar. I know the colors of gingerbread include black grey green and orange butttt wrong choice of launcher imo. I admit to have liked it at first, only becuz it was labeled as the "gingerbread" launcher..anyone else feel this way? Or does anyone know of an app that gives you a solid black launcher???
The new Gingerbread launcher is slightly transparent. I like it. It fits in with the rest of the new, flatter, simpler look.

I think you are talking about the Froyo launcher.
And I agree the new Gingerbread launcher got uglier!! :/

Hadn't noticed that, but still I highly dislike the new black color it has.
This ROM is called NiteUI and, as far as I can tell, it seems to be a mix between the Windows Phone 7 UI and Android. It seems interesting to say the least. Has anyone tried it and, if so, what do you think of it?

That isn't a rom, it is a theme.
Wow. I feel like an idiot now. But, before I ask to have this thread closed, the i777 should be able to use this theme since, according to the guide, it doesn't require flashing?
As far as I can tell all of the theme can be used on ours except the status bar will require some work on your end to replace the images and icons as it is a dark theme for miui, unless you know smali it's gonna take some time to get the icons moved to the opposite side of the status bar.
It seems like getting this look would take a lot of work. And, really, I don't think it would be worth it seeing as there's a possibly we could have a functional version of CM9 by the beginning of March. I think I'll just pass on this and Hellraise VillainRom, which I've been meaning to try for sometime now. But thank you for the help anyways!

Once we get aosp working I would say there is probably like a 99% chance we could get this. It might be possible right now but would most likely take a lot if time and effort. Also, the navbar on the rezound is annoying and pointless and just takes up screen space. I'm not sure if people could put it in the status bar but I think that would be pretty cool

so, i was running a rom on my now-defunct droid bionic that allowed me to adjust the dpi of my screen. i love high resolution, so i immediatly fell in love with it. now that im back to my POS thunderbolt, i have tried to emulate that. i have tried multiple apps to adjust my resolution, and most of them worked! but all of them had one minor flaw...
my notification bar would not get rid of old sprits, as new ones came up. there would be like, residue left from what ever was there before. ill post a screenshot, if i cant describe it well enough. but, my point it...is there any way to fix this...?

Sorry for the poor title... But basically I am new to rooting with the Evo LTE (had the OG Evo rooted and was very familiar with all that) and have a few questions now that I have rooted it finally!
First, I downloaded Dirty Unicorn ROM and it is nice for the most part, but I noticed (and was informed) of 2 issues. First, all my friends say the voice quality when they are talking to me is horrible. And second, the in call volume is very low, even when set to full volume. I like all the features this ROM has, but the issues with the in call quality is a deal breaker. Is there a fix for this? It does appear that this ROM is based off CM 10.
Second, in that ROM it had a badass battery icon for the status bar. I can't seem to find it. To describe it, It was 2 half circles, one inside the other, both segmented into 10 segments. the inner one represented increments of 10, and the outer one went down by 1 as the battery decreased by 1. Can anyone point me in the direction of this status bar icon? lol
And third, I would love if you guys could give me your recommendations/thoughts on some good ROM's that I should try out! I've been out of the 'root' game for quite some time, and am unsure of what ROM's are the best out right now. Ohhh and is there a MIUI ROM out that is stable for the EVO LTE????
