Does any one knows how can I send email directly to Samsung Electronics (not the customer support mail). I have some problems with the Greek department and I'd like to send my complaints to them.
Thanx

Verizon's Email about the Bootloader

I send email last week asking "why cant I unlock the bootloader?"
here is Verizon's answer:
Good Morning Mr. XXXX,
Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless through our website. My name is Michelle, and I understand that you're questioning the bootloader on your HTC Rezound. I certainly know the importance of being aware of the features on your device. I'll be glad to assist you today.
Mr. XXX, The bootloader is locked on an Android device because although it’s an open source OS, still the manufacturers want you to stick to their Android OS version specifically designed for the device. Additionally, the Bootloader is locked on each device so that only the Verizon Wireless operating system can be ran.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Please know that unlocking the Bootloader or rooting your device will void your warranty. We also don't offer assistance for Non-Verizon Wireless software.
I also wanted to inform you that I attempted to contact you on your mobile number ending in XXXX, unfortunately I was unable to reach you. I was calling to assist you with your concern and verity your account. According to our records, you previously added a password to your account. For your protection this password must be verified before I can discuss your account or process any changes. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you understand our desire to protect account privacy.
Please note: The account password referred to on the website "Contact Us" page is not the same as the password you created for your online "My Verizon" service.
If you have forgotten your password, please contact Customer Service at 800 922-0204 or dial *611(send) from your wireless phone. Both numbers are airtime free. We will be able to verify secondary information with you to ensure the security of your account.
Mr. XXXX, If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. You can reach me at 803-231-1787. My normal business hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm EST, Monday - Friday. Your call will go to voicemail, please leave a message, advising the best time and number to contact you.
If outside of my business hours, you may also call Verizon Wireless Technical Support Department at 1-800-922-0204 and select option 3 from a landline phone to speak with a representative who will walk you through step-by-step instructions to troubleshoot the issue. Our Data Technical Support Department is open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., daily. Please have your wireless phone fully charged and available when you call.
I look forward to providing you with any additional assistance that may be needed.
I hope the information that I have provided for you today regarding Bootloading on your device was helpful
I make it my personal goal to resolve all of your wireless concerns. I hope I have done that for you today. We appreciate your business and thank you for using Verizon Wireless.
Sincerely,
Michelle

I didn't know that Verizon had their own OS
Sounds like your typical corporate pr talking head doublespeak. Too bad there aren't any people with real answers to contact us. Until they see some real numbers that this stance is hurting sales I doubt we will get results. But I Prefer to think there still a chance. Let's keep throwing pellets of complaints @ there sites of communication. Solidarity fellow activists of occupy verizon - htc - google.!
Verizon is so full of crap.
Sounds like one of the most honest answers so far, they want phones to stay on their network so they can keep raking in the cash. It's a ****ty business practice either way.

where and how do i send my phone off to Samsung

Hi, I am in the uk and I bought my phone online second hand like new from a seller on amazon, but it is developed a fault, as in vibration has stopped working. I have no idea where to go to arrange for it to get repaired. Does anyone have a clue where I should go please?
Um, Samsung's website for your region (Samsung.co.uk) You obviously don't have the option of sending it in via your carrier given you bought it outright/2nd hand from Amazon so you'll need to contact the/send it in directly or to whomever is authorised to do their repairs in the UK/near you.

I cannot speak for other countries or regions, but if you are located in the US or Canada, our facilities do have a fix for the unlock error. However, as Mason said, it does require that you send it in for RMA.
The call center and technical support might not be aware, but our technicians already know the procedure on how to fix it. I apologize to all of those who have tried to get an RMA for this through the call center. They are instructed not to assist with issues regarding unlocking device - as we all are. However, we understand that this is a special issue, and have set-up a repair process for the affected tablets.
I apologize for the wait and would like to thank those who were patient while we got to the bottom of the issue, and devised a fix for it. If you are having a hard time with getting an RMA from the call center, please shoot me an e-mail to this inbox: [email protected] and I will be happy to help arrange the RMA for you. Again, I can only assist those located in the US and Canada.

How to contact HTC?

Hi everyone!
A few days ago, as I had mentioned here, I had found faulty pixels in my screen.
I imediately contacted HTC Greece, in order to sent them my phone. I also informed them about the hiss noise issue, for which I had already sent them my DX a few months ago. Of course it wasn't fixed...
I asked them to either fix both of the problems, or replace my device.
The problem is that I just got my DX back.
According to the official HTC service in Greece, who found "no fault" in my device, "the device operates in accordance with the manufacturer's standards".
This means that NONE of problems is fixed. The screen still has lots of faulty pixels and the sound is still terrible.
This is totally ridiculous.
I have no intention to send them back my phone for a third (!!) time, because they don't know how to do their job.
I want to contact HTC's headquarter's but I don't know how.
In their site, I whenever I;m looking for a mail or trying to open a ticket, I'm asked for my country, which means that my issue will be forwarded to HTC Greece.
Any help??

Today and after recontacting HTC Greece, I was told that since my screen has hundred of faulty pixels, then my device's warranty is void!!!!
I really don't know why I am treated that way.
@ORA 1
Any more specific link?
Again, I'm asked to choose my country, which means (I guess) that my mail will be forwarded to HTC Greece, which is pointless. All I want is to make sure that HTC's headquarters will get to know my case.
Are there any official HTC forums?

Panos, hi.
This is how things with HTC normally work.
HTC will refer your complaint to HTC representative in Greece.
They will undertake the repair there.
Have you asked your service provider for info. Are you on a contract or pay as you go.
If it is a new phone a two year warranty is given by HTC.
If it is damaged, and not the fault of HTC, they will repair but charge for it.
Hi ORA and thanks for your reply!
To be honest, I'm not expecting to gain anything from contacting HTC's headquarters. All I want is to transfer them my experience from their Greek representative.
My device is not damaged. I change my smartphones every two or three years, so I treat them with respect and try to take care of them.

SIm Unlock T-Mob LG V10 purchased from Partner Purchase Program through Custom ROMs?

If you have gone through the other posts about sim unlock the T-Mobile LG V10, you must have come across users complaining that the Device Unlock app as well as the third party unlockers are not able to sim unlock some LG V10 phones, predominantly the ones that are purchased from the LG Partner Purchase Programs. Just want to check if there is any ROM that can help overcome this or can give the device unlock code popup when tried through the dialer? It's such a disappointment that I couldn't use this beautiful device on my network and struggling to find out a way for this unlocking.
For users who are having the same issue, do you think we need to go through an FCC Complaint for this?
I guess calling T-Mobile is of no help, no way they can add the IMEIs of such devices to the database?
I've been meaning to suggest this for a while. It's a huge longshot, because it seems to be limited to Samsung devices, but this fellow is able to unlock lots of their models by himself. I thought possibly someone could contact him and see if he might know anything about LG devices, or be up to the challenge of maybe tinkering with it. Wish I could be more helpful..

That sucks... oh well, we tried!
Hmm, I started a PayPal dispute with the seller and he declined mentioning PayPal will not consider buyer's remorse. Also since it was never used on a T-Mobile account, it isn't register in their databases. I am planning of taking a 100$ prepaid account, use it for 3 days, apply for unlock and then escalate the claim to PayPal as hardware issue. Will that work? Did anyone try this way with PayPal?
Did you try activating the phone by buying prepaid card? How did it go? I am facing same issue and looking for solution as well.
Guys I found a solution for this finally and it's legit.

Call and email her. She is the one to make it happen. Just don't waste her time of you don't qualify for an unlock.
Got my cellphone unlocked finally. I filed a complaint on FCC complaints portal. I got a call from t mobile within a week. The caller took my IMEI and asked me to wait till further communication. Today I got a call from t mobile telling me that they were able to whitelist my IMEI. I tried the unlock app and my phone was unlocked.
