You don't overclock ram, fgs. Search the setcpu thread in the HTC g1 apps section and install it. Gives you control over the processor frequency, if that's what you're looking for. Thank if I helped, please.

I use Simply Galaxy 2.3.3 with the oc1.2 kernel. At 1ghz I get a quadrant score of around 1660 and oc at 1.2 I get a score around 2130. Its a great rom give it a shot.

OCing depends primarily on the Kernel not the rom, the rom just helps with making the phone smoother and more efficent when OCing. Anyway, if you're running a 2.2 or 2.2.1 rom here's the only kernel I know off that can get you over 1.4.
How do I do that tho

I'd recommend you do some reasearch on flashing..
YOu need CWM to flash kernels/modems/roms

Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31799067. It is based on GB and is stable and excellent choice for gaming. Alternatively you can install cm9 if you're looking for ics. But it has bugs and xloud isn't available resulting in poor music experience. You didn't buy lww for this , did you ?

u can easily search development thread and find the one that suits you instead of opening new thread.

Yes, it is very straight forward when you run the script.
You could try that out.

I've been using it for many months and it is working great on X10. Just make sure that you don't use the Maximum Multitasking Mod when you're on 4.X as our X10 needs lots of RAM on 4.X. It is fine on 2.X though.
Everything works fine. As for the KickAss Kernelizer, just don't enable I/O Scheduler tweak, or you'll end up in bootloop.
