You didn't fancy reading/posting in the thread specific to that ROM or the Q&A thread for the kernel?
Anyway, the answer is probably to go for the latest version.
Hi everyone, can i ask on how to remove the cyanogenMOD version?

Why?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Is that OK running 2 ROMs? I think it will drain my battery fast , or how to uninstall paranoid android? I just want to use 1 ROM.

You are only using one ROM. Its showing what version of CM the ROM is based on and then which version the PA is based on. It is imposibile to run two ROMs booted simultaneously.

Oh thanks dude, I'm totally noob here and seems like we have the same phone , I can't analyze the frequency and MHZ of my GPU and CPu, my battery is hot, can I try your settings?

You need to use Siyah kernel v 1.68 and above to have a dual boot which you need to go to Stweaks/DualBoot. under CWM choose dual boot(at th e bottom).NOT SURE please ask
Hi guys, I'm new to the S3 and having use the S2 for over a year and a half excited about the S3 I just couldn't resist on buying now. On my S2 I've always used the Phenom kernels as they've always been great battery savers but after reading a little bit about some sudden death thing that the phenom kernel doesn't have a fix for I was wondering if it was a wise idea to stay away from flashing phenom? And If so then what kernel would you recommend I flash so I avoid killing my new phone with this sudden death thing?
All the latest custom kernels have the SDS fix. Also flash Philz recovery touch to be realy safe.

I'm sure I read that phenom didn't have this fix, am I wrong about that then?
That is possible mate. I did not use that kernel yet. But siyah, boeffla, perseus and more are safe.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Thanks mate. Which out of those kernels would you recommend? Just basically for battery saving and pre rooted.

I am using Boeffla right now an had good batterylife so far.

Cheers mate thanks, I'll give that one a try

Happy flashing mate
Perseus has a great balance between battery and performance, can't go wrong with it.

Hello everyone. So basically i have a question. Is anyone facing lags on cm 10.1 new nightlies? O have a lot of time with this rom, and i must say that 10.0 was much more smoother (at least for me)
On 10.1 even the homepage is choppy... I'm running Pegasusq overclocked 1.7 GHz with deadline scheduler... any advice you would give me?
Best regards

I felt the latest PA ROM was quite laggy too...
Use Siyah kernel and I have a few tips for settings:
--Over clock to 1.5GHz
--use lulzactiveq
--turn gentle fair sleepers off
--set touch boost to 1000Mhz (or more if you want)
--turn android logger off
I also undervolt all frequencies by 75mv.... I do a lot of PC tweaking and you'd be surprised how much that little amount can reduce cpu temps.
Hope it helps. Did for me.

It isn't really noticeably different to stock settings tbh.. (I.e. still not a patch on Samsung). Give it a go and see how you get on. It definitely makes the ROM smoother.

That means better than a normal cm 10.1 (sigh)
I did the things you told me, except the undervolting, and gotta admit it's better... Thank you very much

I have read comments from several devs that claim that this makes no difference and that those saying it does are experiencing the placebo effect
Addition: in case you are experiencing scrolling lag in any apps, make sure you have force GPU rendering ticked in developer options!! Absolute necessity in any JellyBean ROM.

Is there any thing I can flash to improve my performance?

Doesn't seem like there is much in the way of development for your phone beyond root and CWM.
