Well. I just edit a zip I found...I can´t remember where I found this...
But I edit it and flash it in the new ICS 1208 version...
And for now it´s working...
Here an screen shot:

Here its what I did:
-Reboot to Recovery
-Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
-Flash MOD
-Fix Permissions
-Reboot
And here its the file:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=809867&stc=1&d=1323369821
For me it's working just fine....make a backup to be sure. I´m not responsable for any damage!
EDIT: its more a 10% step rigth now...when I have time I will try to make it work
Edit2: I can remember now...the original file I edit its from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1365810
I will ask for help to the owner me the post...
Looks promising, can you please confirm that it is in fact 1% steps, not 10% steps?
Can you also please elaborate on the permissions?
Edit after installing:
Unfortunately this is a 10% step, not a 1% step. It also appears to mess with the GPS locked icon in the notification bar.
Edit after reverting back to boring no batt%:
Flashed 20111208 again and all is back to normal.
What is this 1% battery step? How does it differ from the 10%?

1% = 99, 98, 97 etc
10% = 90, 80, 70 etc
I see the system-UI.apk file contains all 100 battery images, probably an xml file that needs editing to use all 100.

it will be fine if the system reports 1% (like in battery and about->status section) we don't really need in status bar (not everybody likes that)
When u get this working, it'd be awesome. Till then, setvsel shows 1% steps

Of course you need root. Why don't you just root it? It's a 10 second process mate.
I've had this
No worries,
I've had this a long time ago. Actually is an Android reset-soft boot, I bet that you can hear the Galaxy wav also. Try and update the rom or check what apks you've installed during the period this showed up. Also drain the the battery till it shuts off, start it in download mode [ Vol down+home+power then Vol up to confirm] leave it that way until it powers off THEN charge it while off. This should reset the battery stats.

Thanks ....
Actually i want to but there is just too much confusion around the steps since so many ways are mentioned on the net and on Xda too ....
Root is simple but root does not fix anything at all only allows a deeper level for program access .
Definite method .
Root + CWM .

I have no problems with either 36P or 37P on CM7 displaying 100% battery. Obviously my battery shows 97% here because it has been off charge this morning. I am also undervolted per the pic I posted in the other thread. Seems I am doing everything you say not to do, yet have no problems with my battery.
CM7.2 RC1
Faux 1.0GHz 024 kernel
37P radio
No issues!

Link to 30P?
I had more battett percetage issues with 30p than 36 p or 37 p i am on 37 p now and it charges to 100% everytime woth 4200mv i also fail to see how the radio causes the issue wjen it is the same for the most part on diffrent rom and for instance stock rom didnt have the ossue on my phone not to be rude man but i also am doing mant of the thimgs u say not to and have charged my phone at least 20 times now with out a issue in some time

well i am on
N_01.100.00R_europe_retail_09oct2011 (radio)
RC1 (cm7.2)
stock kernel
and if i do the battery pull trick i am able to get 100% but after some charge cycles it goes down to 95%-92% (and not to mention phone reporting charged at 95%.
so i seriously doubt the radio is the problem.
I am doing some digging of my own and i think kernel is to blame (cos all cm7 and cm9 (bass kernels) and some modified GB kernels are developed by faux123 and no doubt kernels are awesome but with battery percentage bug.
so go try a fully stock rom with different radio ull get full percentage (data problem may occur)
and then flash faux123 kernel and wait two three days and problem will come.
its not that big of a problem (cos for me with heavy usage my battery last 1% dies in like 3-4 hours) so its all good for me.
Guys...I have made a Offline Charging animation for Sony Xperia P...
It has 7 battery states...It shows the percentage as well as the battery...
State : [0%-20%-35%-50%-75%-90%-100%]
All images are in .PNG and HD...Tested..Working 100%...
Requirement : Root Needed
Procedure :
i)Download the attachment
ii)Extract the .zip and copy it to your mobile storage
iii)copy the images and paste it to "/system/semc/chargemon/data" by Root Explorer or ES File Explorer or whatever you got

Ok, well requests..i like the second battery, the icon is too ugly (in my opinion ).
Could you make kind of the stock ICS or stock GB statusbar icon, just bigger?
Gingerbread icon in attachement, i think you know what I mean with ICS-icon?
If not, look in my signature: The "ICS theme" click on it then you see a screenshot and I mean the battery on the top

Hi, months ago i made one from the jb leak (i just took pics, moved them into folders and created a new desc.txt to get a working bootanim), available here : http://ge.tt/api/1/files/4TZI58R/31/blob?download
It's a flashable .zip then you can flash or extract it if you want.

I was modifying my post when you answered.
It's a flashable .zip, so you've the choice.

I flashed it, it's displaying but the problem is it's not animating. The blur stuck on the upper left.
I flashed it again but not any problem appeared. Try to flash it again and if there is still this problem, make a photo if you can.
edit : Ok sorry it was a test bootanim. lol
Right boot animation : http://ge.tt/api/1/files/4TZI58R/31/blob?download
I guess there's a problem, when finished I flashed the zip, it automatically reboots when its about to finish and ddint say its finished or what.
For the reboot that's normal.
I wrote "Redémarrage..." at the end, "reboot" in french and on the update-script of the bootanimations i modified, i added a run_program("/sbin/reboot"); to automatically reboot.
As i said it was my fault, i gave you the link of my test bootanimation, not the right which is working.
hahahaha okay a test, anyways thank you
The new one works good ?

Great it works! Thanks bro!
i Have tried battery calibration but it does not work
please tell me some other ways to solve it
whenever i turn off the screen and put it in sleeping/standby mode (meaning when the screen is of and im not using it) ,
the battery decreases all of a sudden (displayed in the picture at point 1.)
so when i reboot it, the battery recharges it self, the battery percent increases about 20% after a reboot ( displayed in the picture at point 2.)
please help
this happens when i flash cyanogenmod roms , this happened on cm.10.1.3 and cm.10.2 :crying:
but whenever i go back to stock xperia rom, it is solved by it self.

i searched it online and the best solution was to wipe it through recovery
but when i tried doing this, there is no such option
many recoveries dont have this option anymore, only wipe dalvik cache is present there
therefore my recovery does not have the option to wipe battery states
Don't quote me. But I think the app ROM toolbox has that option
Chris B.
It's just a bug with these ROMS, I guess...

Chris B.
one question, should i wipe battery states after it charges 100% or before that ???
I recommend turning off the device while charging it. When it is full, boot up. Let the battery charge fully again while its plugged in. It should only be a cpl percent to charge fully. Then wipe batt stats. That's what I do anyways.
