Once I flash hard SPL 3.03. And it can not be changed.
I flashed stock roms, cooked roms, flashed radio roms and apply task 32 all over and over succesfully but spl value still

1) To install this HSPL there must be any SPL version from this list on your device:
SPL 1.42.0000
SPL 1.62.0000
SPL 1.66.0000
SPL 2.07.0000
SPL 2.08.0000
SPL 2.10.0000
SPL 3.03.0000
Otherwise the installation will fail!
You can select which SPL version to install in "Choose SPL" screen. To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset.
It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM with this SPL version.
my spl is not one of them. so I failed when I tried hdspl3 but hdspl4 worked. thanks.

If you've installed hardspl, flash to any ROM; if not, flash to your original carrier's ROM.
Sounds like kennychannel has simunlocked his Hermes after Hard SPL was installed. Thats why he has spl - 1.40. Do as kareem9nba says then either supercid your phone or reinstall Hard SPL....
if im in the us where can i find this version to down load it. i cant track it down on htc support.
spl comes as part of stock roms.
assuming you have a tmous?
if so, any rom that includes 1.42.0000 spl will brick your phone permanently.

its how i have it since i bought it i havent done the update that has been released by t-mobile yet. Id like to get it to where i can flash other roms on it but its at 2.10.0000 and of course wehn i run the program to put HSPL on there it tells me i need first SPL 1.42.0000. any advice would help

okay, take carefull note of this
you have a 'tmous' or 't mobile us' version of the hd2.
This is important, you WILL kill your phone if you try to flash ANY official rom other than those for the tmous.
You don't need spl 1.42.0000, you need spl 2.08.0000, and that will allow you to use hspl1024 (see in my sig)
go to '[ROM]Leo 1.5 T-MOBILE Test & Stock ROMS' thread in the tmous rom development thread,
find and download rom 2.10.0
connect to usb, run the .exe, let it install, and voila, , , your spl is now 2.08.0000 and hspl1024 will now work.
You are currently in the regular hd2 section, you do not have a regular hd2, you should bookmark THIS and do all your rom finding, etc. there.
Apps, and themes from teh regular hd2 section will work fine on your tmous, but not roms, and especially not radios.
When picking a rom, be sure that the chef has marked it as 'tmous compatible'. If you aren't sure, don't bother.

i think i made a huge mistake..anyway i'm a noob (still)...so this is my story:
i flashed succesfully wp7 on my hd2 ..so i didn't liked it and i decided to go back on wm6.5 and flashed with a stock rom with 1.42 spl...
now i'm trying again to flash hspl so i can have a cooked rom like before but it gives me an error...it says that i need spl 1.42 in order to do that...but when i flashed the stock rom the spl remained 2.08 and it looks like this:

now i made it with hspl2. i have spl 1.42 hspl but i can't flash a custom rom or radio :error code 240?
fix robotic voice running android 2.2 via sd card.
running andriod 2.2 via sd seemed to work ok apart from the robotic voice during calls i'm led to believe that you need to change the radio version which opened up whole new kettle of fish

that version of hspl went out of date ten months ago. use hspl2 which works with any spl.

no need to downgrade, thats why hspl4 exists, , , to support spl 3.03.0000 from 3.14 roms.

i assume you mean 'HSPL_1024', not HSPL4_LEO1024, , HSPL_1024 is old, it has been superseded by HSPL3 and HSPL4. Use HSPL4.
Long story short, i was working on a new bootloader for HD2 and was testing the functioning of smem and my memory binaries, they seem good but i chose the wrong address to test them on. The address i picked was 0x0000219 which is actually the SPL partition. Now call it my luck or whatever, the only thing i damaged was the HTC logo during flash. So i've decided to flash a stock ROM through sdcard to replace SPL and also fix bad blocks which have developed after countless hours of developing and testing and flashing on HD2, Before i go on and update to an official SPL (ofc im running 2.08HSPL to be able to include a custom compiled ARM binary)
As i've read in some posts, once i upgrade to an OSPL (official) > 2 i will never be able to downgrade, no matter what. The stock SPL which came in with my device was 1.66 and i flashed 2.08HSPL to it.
1) What SPL is included in the official 3.14 WM6.5 ROM ?
2) Will i be able to downgrade to like 1.66 (My Stock) or install 2.08HSPL with it ? and if yes then how ?

I'm not sure about downgrading to 1.66, since I use TMOUS, but returning to HSPL shouldn't be a problem. The newer HSPL4 installer reads as follows:

I've repeatedly switched between 2.10.0000 and 2.08.HSPL with no problems.
BTW, I'm suffering from bad block problems and reverting to stock by SD method did nothing to fix mine. If you figure out a better way I'd love to hear it!

Wrong, there are NO EU roms that use 2.x spl. The EU spl path jumped from 1.66.0000 to 3.03.0000
Only tmous stock roms use spl 2.x

Also, just to clarify, the current stock SPL for tmo is 3.03, so if you're flashing stock for RMA or something like that on you're on tmo you can flash the 3.14 ROM with 3.03 SPL and be fine.
For Android/WP7 to function, you must be on HSPL 2.08
