US_epad-user-8.8.3.29.zip on ASUS FTP - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Poking around on the ASUS FTP site,
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/TF201/
ran across this - US_epad-user-8.8.3.29.zip date 12/9/11...
Update firmware you think? I'm assuming it's not ICS, but includes "updater-script" and large "blob" file..
Any clues?

WM2003 SE for XDA2 deleted from ftp ???

...looks like someone deleted all SE images from our ftp server.
However, I still have it (i guess others too) if anyone need it.

buzz
I did not check the ftp directories, but I am still able to download from ie dcs's thread
Take a look. Nothing there...
buzz, I believe you when you say that nothing is there.
But shoulndt the question be 'can we download the files'?
I noticed that (since the breakdown?) uploaded files (in the ftp root) seem to be transferred elsewhere when they are linked to any post.
That will answer your question.
I think we need not worry about hte presence of these files on ftp, as long as the forum download works
))
I'm OK with the fact, that the files were deleted. I checked also the subdirs...
I'm pretty sure, that I did download SE from our ftp server, so I was a bit surprised, that these files are not there anymore...
However, (as you said) files can be still downloaded directly from the posts.
I have my local copies, just in case... )))))
have a nice day

where can i get himaupgradeut_197.exe?

after some extensive googling, a lot of swearing and general frustation, i simply cant seem to find himaupgradeut_197.exe, can anyone here be so kind as to point me in the right direction?
Why do you want to search for that file? If you want the file to upgrade your Xda II, well I think I got the right file for you (without '_197' at the back).. Anyway, this file came with 'HimaClearJumpCode.exe', 'HimaGetDevice.exe', 'ms.nbf', nk.nbf' and 'Radio.nbf', which is necessary when upgrading
Hope this is the right file..
well, the _197 version of HimaupgradeUT is supposed to ignore Country and language codes, afaik, i have all the other files for upgrading, as ive already upgraded to WM 2003 SE

open file failed

First off I will start off that I am new but I did try searching this forum and google as well. Everytime I download something either from a torrent or something from the internet, it says open file failed. Here recently i was tring to download some movies and I tried downloading bit torrent but I cant even open up the bit torrent to help me download other things. Has anyone ran into this yet?
open file failed could mean several things.
First, it could mean you dont have an application installed that is taking control of that filetype, the prime has no idea what applicaiton to open that file with.
The second is the file is corrupted and unreadable
Third it could be in use by something else and read protected
It could be several other things but unfortunately you have given us very little to go on.
What files specifically are you trying to open? .torrent files would need a torrent downloader capable of opening these files. Movies should easially open with the stock video player or MX player is what i use. If you are trying to install a .exe file you need to do some reading on differences between android and windows.
Hopefully this helps.

If anone has the .28 update maybe they could start a torrent, Asus download slow!!!

Get a torrent file going I think it would be faster.

Galaxy Alpha slte.pit file

Hi,
For some reasons, I need your phone's slte.pit file & a mount output (list of mounts).
I like to make block map of all devices even those I don't have.
I don't have this handset so I ask you all if you can give me the slte.pit file
Also I've found during searches a strange ftp server which requires user&password.
http://www.mmnt.net/db/0/0/85.90.197.53/SAMSUNG/software/
This ftp server seems to stock lot of PIT & firmwares files!
If I could access all those PIT files then I could map any device.
Thanks :good:
