I dont want use another custom rom. (i was on behrads cyanoace for a long time... )
I think that kernel can helps or maybe clear battery stats in cwm... But battery is wiped and its the same.

Have you tried changing governors?

Edit: so im little bit excited yet... Stock ginger roms are slow and have lags, custom roms are fast but they have some bugs - is here some normal choice? Maebe im going to flash back stock old froyo only with root and it will be all...
Adeclipse: On stock rom can I only use for example setcpu but dont any change... All the same... Even cpu spy showing all without change... I think that there is some problem with undervoltage...

Battery mod incorrectly shows battery is at 100%

I flashed a battery mod a few days ago, but today I've noticed that after over an hours use the battery was still showing 100% and I knew it couldn't be right so I checked the battery settings and it is on fact 91%
Why has this happened? I know I can restart my phone to correct this but I just want to know why it's showing 100 incorrectly because it could happen again and I'll think I have more battery power than I actually have.

When I restarted it now shows 85% when I in fact have 88% (shocked at how nearly 5% gone after a restart)

Can you give a link to the thread where you take the battery mod?
First guess: it only include the png file but not the modified xml file to make your phone using them...
I downloaded it from the 'Omega Files' app. It's the 'Mixed Theme' battery mod.

Should work if you use Omega rom but may not work properly on another rom
Which rom do you use?
I use ARHD but others had confirmed it working fine on this rom.
Can you recommend any others?

I still use stock rom so I can't recommend a custom rom as I have not use them...
You should post your issue in ARHD thread: if some peoples have managed to make your mod work with this rom, they probably could help you to find the issue...

ICS .431 vs. .587 WiFi battery useage

I'd like to know from other people who use WiFi to connect to the internet if they share the same experience...
I used to run stock .431 ICS with MESA 1.6 kernel, and even if I used WiFi regularly it would still take me trough the day easily.
After upgrading to .587 with MESA 1.8 the battery drains a LOT faster with WiFi connected.
The reason I haven't gone back to .431 yet is that .587 is noticeably faster, but the difference in battery drain is just too big.
Any thoughts/ideas? Not too keen on mixing different builds for the sake of stability, and don't want to use a GB ROM as I like the Holo interface way too much.
well for kobzars and mine new rom based on .587
im using phone for 25h10min with heavy usage
wi-fi for 6h
+ gaming
I'll be testing this combo and see how it goes...

My Galaxy S2 gets heated

I am trying to install custom ROM on my galaxy S2 I9100. I have tried many ROM's. All custom ROM's are making my phone heated near the camera. Any suggestions how to fix this or this happens in all the phones. Thanks in advance.
This is the wrong section.
But ill answer your question.....
There is nothing wrong and it completly normal.
The phone is very hot I am unable to answer calls as i feel it hot
Install some system monitoring software, check if cpu is in constant usage by some process and eliminate it.. It is normal to get heated if playing or otherwise using any high resource consuming software, and while charging. But if it gets heated without using the phone you either have a rogue software on it or a hardware malfunction which cannot be fixed by changing roms. You'll have to do some research with your phone as i explained above.
And if u r on costum rom and have costum recovery try latest stock wanamlite XWLPY which comes with rooted stock kernel.
But, Stock ROM is working fine ... no heat issues ...
evn my phone heats.. use a diffrnt kernel.. and pls post in the correct section..God bless..
Cheers..!
Which Kernel U using? And which Rom ur using?? No info no nothing... U need to provide all the info and post in the relevant section. Moreover thr r many threads on heat up issues.. I m damn sure u never used search option use that.
This is very normal... Best way is to put a cover.

Do you have a question?
More RAM compared to stock? I don't think so. And having a task manager to clean up the ram will only result in apps loading from zero.
Try a different kernel. They have options to tweak CPU and RAM usages.

I actually figured out the problem ... i installed advance task killer which resulted more ram usage .. i uninstalled it and the usage is back to normal as in stock rom

Battery drain and high CPU usage problem

I have battery drain problem. All i did now is: full wipe/full format (system, cache, preload etc.)/back to newest 1-file 4.1.2 stock XEO ROM.
Nothing changed, all i can see is that my CPU is 100% usage, what is the problem?

Tried all stock ROMs (excepting Android 2.3) and nothing changed, my phone gets overheated. May it be hardware problem? If yes how to repair it? My phone turns off my hands several times and maybe that's the cause.
first try custom rom stock or cm with custom kernel like dorimanx. if this dnt help try with different battery if this snt help could be motherboard problem. but first try flash dorimanx kernel on ur rom and check how phone behave
