For some reason my 1st post didn't take!
Try the AT&T store. A colleague of mine dropped his new iPhone 4 last week smashing the camera lens. On the off chance he went to the AT&T store, and although the part was not there in the store, they have ordered it for him free/gratis. Never hurts to ask! I was dumbfounded when he told me this, but it happened nevertheless.
Guess my 1st post did take cos' I see you posted the same question in both General and Q&A, and I apparently responded to both.
Please don't do this again!
Why is this thread in 3 different atrix boards here?

Damn! He posted it in a 3rd???
/ignore from now on!!!
It seems i've made something wrong...
yes i've posted in three forums, just because i didn't know in which one the topic fit the best :
1-Atrix 4G General
Discussion about the AT&T Motorola Atrix 4G (general, tips & tricks, Q&A, etc)
It is a general question (looking for spare parts) and the forum description includes Q&A.
2-Atrix 4G Q&A
For all of your questions relating to the AT&T Motorola Atrix 4G
This is a question!
3-Atrix 4G Accessories
Accessories for the AT&T Motorola Atrix 4G (cases, screen protectors, batteries, etc)
not an accesorie but about spare part, so it is related.
I just wanted to maximize the chance to get an answer by posting in these forums.
Before posting, i've checked that in any of them there was a thread about replacement part for power button/fingerprint reader replacement part.
So please calm down, there is no need to ask for ignore/ban me. As all of you (i hope!) i'm human and we can do mistake and learn from. I did one and i won't do it again.
Back to the original topic
Thank you CaelanT for your answer but i'm in europe, so reaching a AT&T store will be difficult/very expensive for me...
(yes, i've posted in ATRIX 4 AT&T forum, but for this replacement part it doesn't matter, and this phone is not only sold in US: canada, belgium, UK, fance... and this is the only one forum about Motorola Atrix in this website),
It is easy to find replacement part for screen or other part on the net, but i've spent one full day looking for fingerprint reader and found..... nothing!
Moreover it is a pity for a phone which is so easy to open and replace/repair itself (tutorial available on ifixit)
Anyone else has any idea/suggestions/websites for replacement parts?
You posted a question............so I am guessing Q&A not every forum!
This is all I could find in a quick search for parts:

I am having the very same issue and none of the replies here are helping. All I am seeing is persons complaining and sending people all over the place to other post which dont have the answer. I have been searching online for a solution and I am not seeing anything other than take it back to at&t which is not possible because at&t is in America.
Anyways If there is someone kind enough to (1) explain where is the actual power button located (in the finger print scanner or under the scanner) and (2) what to change to get this fix( eg a ribbon, the finger print scanner or is there a button I should buy). I am not looking for a work around what I want to do is change what ever it is that I need to change to get fix.
Thing is, power burton is a soft button sitting below the fingerprint reader, it is completely independant. Thing is, i dont remeber if it is soldered to the motherboard or is apart. Either way, i think tou need to get it from another atrix.
Here at the forum a user posted a site that sells spare parts at low prices, perhaos they have what you need!

It's part of one of the flex cables.
There is a picture of it here at the iFixit teardown:
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Motorola+Atrix+4G+Teardown/4964/2
and one with the tape removed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2379939
Have you tried ebay? There spares all over the place and if you don't find the flex itself you may as well buy an Atrix with a broken LCD and use it for parts.

Two ebay sellers told me that the flex cable dont come with the power button so I took your advise and bought one that is damage, lcd and digitizer. This will in fact work out better for me being that my digitizer is bad ( already had order one which is on its way) I broke off the wifi button on the board and not the power button got damage.
So for all the people out ther asking about the power BUTTON ITS RIGHT UNDER THE FINGERPRINT SCANNER AND IS NOT SOLD ON THE FLEX CABLE YOU HAVE TO GET IT FROM AN OLD ATRIX SAME FROM THE WIFI EITHER GET IT FROM ANOTHER ATRIX OR BUY A MOTHERBOARD .. I have no idea where to get a board from.
I'm curious if anyone knows if we will see inductive/wireless charging for the ATT GSII. I know there are mod's out there but they are mostly invasive and for people with a tad more hardware and technical aptitude than myself. I'd love to just slap on a case etc. I spent over an hour looking up QI, Inductive/Wireless charging and came up with negligible results, except for the iphone. If you know of a *simple, elegant, inexpensive <50.00 usd solution* share your thoughts here please.
Thanks!
I always loved the idea and wish it was available for more phones. I really hope we get some options soon.

Nice! i was about to suggest those power mat things.
Hello everyone Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forums.
I just bought the Samsung Note so now I am trying to sell my unlocked SGS2 on Ebay. I have the charger, extra battery, and unlock code for device (in case person ever has to do a master reset). Of course its refurbished 9 has been used for 2 months) but is in good condition despite a barely noticeable, minor scratch on back cover (see pic).
What is a fair/good asking price?
I'd recommend looking at auctions on there that have already ended and get a good idea from that. That's the best way I've found to determine current value of specific items on there.
How about you post in the classified section instead of trying to sneak your ad in where it doesn't belong?

Ummm actually I'm NOT trying to sell it on here. keyword was "EBAY" I simply asked a QUESTION b/c I was unsure if my asking price of $275 on ads I'VE ALREADY PLACED elsewhere was too much or little. So how about you enjoy your night and thank you very much for you sarcastic/pointless response.
Whatever you say. I'm sure that since you did mention eBay that you have no way to actually see what they are selling for there instead of coming in here where probably few people have actually sold their SGSIIs and weren't really trying to squeeze in an ad without anyone noticing. Uh huh.
Lol whatever you say dude.

The reason of this message is to request one of your quality, extended batteries for Sprint’s new flagship device, the HTC EVO LTE. It has come to the attention to many desiring consumers that the battery can be easily removed from this device and possibly replaced with a larger, extended battery.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0jGY2N2h1U
The above linked video shows how to remove the battery within three minutes and forty-two seconds on an HTC One S. This phone is extremely similar to the HTC EVO LTE. There are very little differences between these phones design wise.
As you may know, the popular website xda-developers.com has a great following of customers on various, flagship phone models. There are thousands of posts related directly to extended batteries. I see many posts relating to your products and the desire for them. Please take in consideration the consumer request of your extended batteries for the HTC EVO LTE.
Mind you, the battery in this phone is sealed. A special tool will be needed to remove the back plastic piece off of the phone. After that, only four screws need to be removed, and then the battery easily comes out. The battery is attached via cable.
Different variations of extended batteries may be in your company’s best interest. For example, the HTC EVO LTE comes with a 2,000 mAh battery already installed. Some people may not want to add too much bulk to their phone with an extended battery. A small increase in size to add a 2,500 mAh battery may be the sweet spot for some consumers. A 3,500 mAh battery will also be a good choice to add to your product lineup for the people willing to sacrifice size for battery life.
I hope that you will take into consideration this request for your extended battery for the HTC EVO LTE device. Please forward this message to upper management and your engineering group to see if this is possible and profitable. I patiently await your answer regarding this request.
Thank you,

Looking forward to seeing Seidio's battery case. I just hope they keep it slim so it can still fit in the Sprint-branded car dock.
I'm not sure how you think that a larger capacity/size battery could work in an aluminum unibody frame... but the idea of a case with battery built in has more merit. Unfortunately, the cost in size will be significant, and you will have to avoid covering up the plastic panel as the NFC and wireless are there and should not be blocked by more battery.
So something similar to the Xpal Power Skin I figure. I had one for my OG Evo, only used it at work as it added quite a bit of bulk to the device. Maybe Seidio will have better execution of design.
Thanks for taking the initiative and reaching out to amazing companies, such as Seidio for support to fulfill our desires! Hopefully they don't run into any major problems. It would be amazing if the battery case has equal to or greater than the battery for the original Evo's. Internal + External = hopefully a good day of heavy use!
one of these for the evo should be pretty sweet

well i just saw the seidio power case for the iphone, and im very optomistic based on the design for the battery case that it wont add as much bulk as xpal powerskin would add. http://youtu.be/nlfJmmYjPKU
It looks pretty slim before the silicone is on
I have this extended battery. I bought it for my old device and keep using it for my new device. Whenever my phone is in low battery, I just plug this thing in my purse and It's all charge after awhile. http://www.spigen.com/etc-accesories-2/kuel-series/sgp-portable-mobile-battery-kuel-f60q-series.html if you are interested in.

Slight Update
Ok, with it now being July, I figured I would check in at Seidio to see what is going on and to check progress if any. Here is the conversation I had with an online representative. I would have taken a screenshot, but you would have been unable to see the complete convo:
Please wait for the next available representative…
Jon: Hey I was curious of an update in regards to the development of the power case for the Evo 4G LTE
You are next in queue. We will be with you in just a moment.
You are next in queue. We will be with you in just a moment.
Risa: Hello! Thank you for contacting Seidio Online! How can I help you today?
Jon: Hey I was curious of an update in regards to the development of the power case for the Evo 4G LTE
Risa: Hi Jon.
Risa: Let me check.
Jon: ok thank you
Risa: I don't believe we have anything finalized as of right now.
Risa: I will forward your request to product development.
Risa: Have you signed up to receive product notifications for the HTC EVO 4G LTE?
Jon: Oh, okay. Thank you for forwarding it, there are a lot of people I know that would enjoy a power case for our EVO 4G LTE because right now it seems as though the iPhone is the only one with a power case unfortunately
Jon: No, I don't believe I have signed up yet, I just check back here every now and then to see if there are any updates or something new
Risa: I see. If you would like to sign up, you may send an email here: [email protected]
Jon: I will look into that, thanks
Risa: You're welcome!
Jon: So are they working on the development of this case for the EVO, or is it still in a Planning/Suggestions stage?
Risa: Unfortunately, I'm not sure.
Jon: Oh, okay then.
Risa: Sorry about that.
Jon: It's ok. I like many others are just in hopes that Seidio truly does make a Power case for the EVO 4G LTE and not just the iPhone
Risa: I'll definitely forward your request.
Jon: Okay, Thanks for your help.
Risa: You're welcome.
Jon: Have a nice day

So from what I can tell the case hasn't gone into development yet, but my request was escalated to product development, so there is a possibility we may get a Power case if continue to request and "keep it fresh on their mind" so to speak. Maybe emailing a signed petition could be a good idea?
Why??? The battery life on this device is already INCREDIBLE.

It would be nice for traveling, if you had enough juice to not have to charge for a few days (with moderate usage).
This is true, it does have great battery life already, but why not make it even better!? A really good long day of intense use and still have 50% battery
I know a lot of yall are going over to the Evo LTE or the other new phones whenever you get a chance.
Anyone selling their 3d?
Fair price please, if you're open for trade I do Graphic Design and Web Development, and also got some ton of other electronic crap I dont need.
Hit me up if any of you are interested!
Edit* I got an Evo 3D right now, but the digitizer I think is screwed up, cant type on the keyboard correctly and sometimes screen doesn't respond. If anyone has any info on how to fix it let me know as well, thanks!
