Did yo have to do any tweaks or is this the performance you got straight out of the package?

Can someone run a crystalmark benchmark on these ..
I curious to see if the 4k random R/W speeds are reasonable (as opposed to many class 10's which are 50-100 times slower than a class 4 card).

FYI read This
and check out this card

you don't need much random write access performance.(there is really no reason to do app2sd anymore as you have almost 30GB for apps)
I got 2 GB on SGS2 for apps and I have a hard time filling it up.
If movies are what u usually move around, definitely get a class 10

I am going to be using it for movies and music. I figure I can load up both Sd cards with movies and music and swap them out when I want something new. Also I don't think we should have a need of a2sd with the internal memory it has. I just don't want to fill up the internal memory up with my movies and music. I rather have room for other things like pictures, video's, apps and other stuff.

Thats what it says on the package and I can hit those speeds with SD Tools. No tweaks, straight out of the package. Ran in my G2X although I bought this for my TF Prime.

saw that in Sundays ad, drove down this morning when they opened at 7am and picked one up.

Got 1....thanks

How does Fry's ship with ultrasaver? Is it that combo dhl/mail crap?

Hey if someone would like to clue me in on how to test the r/w speed on the micro sd card, I'd be happy to give some info on this class 10 card.
It shows as being $32.99 + $1.99 shipping on their website. It's still a great price if it really is a class 10 card but thought I'd clarify the price.

What about transferring a movie over to the SD card and looking at the megabytes per second speed???? Do the same test on the class 2 with the same movie and compare.
FYI: For people in Canada, Newegg.ca has the same card for sale...16GB Class 10
I bought one and am using it in my phone -- and it seems fast enough.
I've also partitioned it for swap -- the rest for MP3s -- but anyhow...

Given the current exchange rate, Fry's is a better deal -- but at least it doesn't have to cross the border (ergo, no duty)

ADATA 32GB Micro SDHC for $59.99 w/ newegg promo code (save $10.00)

hey guys, i was looking for a decent 32GB MicroSD now that i have s-off and backups are HUGE...
i found ADATA 32GB Micro SDHC Flash Card with Adapter Model AUSDH32GCL10-RA1 for $69.99
if you sign up w/ a new account and this is ur first order u can save $10.00 (and yes it is free shipping) by using coupon code: NEWCUSTOMER10
IMPORTANT, when i first applied the code it told me this was not valid, however, when checking out w/ Paypal it applied the code.. -$10.00
figure i'd share while it lasts... looks like it lasts until 8/31/11
for proof for those who need it, i attached screenshots of the order on newegg, as well as email confirmation
That's a good deal! I might make another account with them because I made one a while back when they were offering 20% off your first purcase. I bought a SanDisk 32GB card a while back from Sandisk's site when they had then for less than $60 with a coupon code. That was a STEAL!!! I wouldn't mind having another one though for when I get a tablet next month. I have a tough time passing on good deals

So far my cards been good. I was hoping to get 17mbps write speed but I cant find a decent app to use to do some test so I used a windows utility I found here.
http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Sansa-...ctual-transfer-rate-with-this-free/td-p/84325
and so far I've been getting about 13mbps write speed.
I've tried SD Tool app from the Market and it's inaccurate. It reads my class 2 and my adata class 10 cards both @ 10mbps
@ aznmode
Try AnTuTu Benchmark for SD card read/write numbers
It is showing me 5mbps for the internal SD ;(

I tried AnTuTu but this cant be right either. 6.4mbps write? I'm expecting atleast 10 for a class 10 card.
This is what I thought.
My Asus transformer gives me 14Mb for internal sd write and 12Mb for external card
Only 5Mb for the evo 3d internal card!!!
I tried other benchmarking tool, they all gives ridiculously low numbers

I just picked up this card.. seems great so far, tested with SD tools in the market and get 11/20 with it.. gona try the bench you guys mention and see how it scores
Edit..
Tested with AnTuTu and got 14/16..
Got mine yesterday, great speeds. I believe it was 14 write, 20 read with SD tools. I'm glad I was able to get one.

Got mine on Amazon for a little less (real little) and free shipping ( http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-32GB-...JYCY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325739855&sr=8-1 ).
The SanDisk Class 4 was the go-to card for the NC (there's a chart floating around about r/w speed for different classes, sizes, and brands. Anything above a Class 4 is not recommended for this device (IMO) -- due to the performance-to-dollar ratio of the higher priced cards.

My comment was in reference to the cost/benefit of the steep performance vs. cost slope of investing in higher class cards.
My friend and I bought a Class 10 32 gig for only $39. I personally do not like Sandisk as a brand and was pleased to not buy their product, but that is just my taste.
Class 10 32gig that was rated well cost me about $50.

yea the one you linked to has sales tax which puts it like 20 cents below the price of newegg lol thanks for your opinion though
EDIT: oops, forgot to actually check and it doesn't have any sales tax! wow i actually just might get it from amazon then, even if it might take a bit longer... newegg(4-7 business days) vs amazon (5-8 business days) lol...
EDIT2: the link you provided, the pic of the card doesn't say what class it is and apparently there is a "newer" model here: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-micro...M-032G/dp/B004G60AD6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
surprisingly enough, its actually cheaper than the one you provided by like 20 cents after shipping and tax are calculated... yea the "newer" one needs shipping, but still no tax which is good...

Don't you think the onboard flash controller would be a limiting factor in the performance of that card? If a Class 4/6's performance on the Nook Tablet is near equal to the performance of a Class 10 on the Nook Tablet then wouldn't you think that the top end performance of the onboard flash controller is 6MB/s?
Just saying, a faster card may not be better, no matter how fast, or how much it cost if the onboard technology simply can't keep up it'll just work like a slower card.
Look at Micro Center's prices. They are a good gauge. Be careful buying ones off ebay, there are folks selling counterfeit ones.

I like to think that I'm thinking ahead. these were designed specifically with tablets and phones in mind. Right now I'm running a class 6 8gb I bought for my G1 originally. My phone is a shift, and I have a nook tablet in the way also. Once the tablet is fully and completely rooted and running cm9, it will be my primary android device for my work. The 8gb class 6 will go back to being my phones storage. As a side note, I have a 16gb class 4 card also. I could clearly see a difference running it. My phone would choke and sometimes corrupt the images when transferring numerous pictures at once via USB cable to my PC. Never had this problem before or after with the 8gb c6 card.
And, if nothing else ... I spent 30 bucks for a cool ass blue stripe! Lol.

I have thoroughly tested the class 4 sd card from transcend sold by Newegg. They work with everything I have put the NT through and work very well with playing video from SD. Work very well with Acclaim 1.4.1 revert to 1.4.0 I just shot a video of this and the new SD card root process.

Yeah 32GB are definitely at a good price point; I bought an excellent SanDisk class 4 from Newegg for $33, and could have saved a few bucks with a less reputable brand.
I haven't seen prices drop at all on microSDXC cards in the last four months. I'm not holding my breath at this point that they'll be priced competitively with smaller cards any time soon.

Have you ever seen anyone selling a 128GB microSDXC? I don't think there is any technological limitation of the phone that would prevent your phone from reading even larger cards, as long as you can format them with a supported filesystem, and the SDXC standard allows up to 2TB. The limitations are just based on what's available.

Note does not see sd card contents
Having a little trouble with the external card being seen by the Note. I have a samsung 32 GB, class 10. I have pics loaded, ringtones and apks on it. Pics and apks are in the root of the card. Ebooks are in a folder called ebooks. Ringtones are in a folder- Forget how labeled, but copied from my infuse card. They work correctly.
My app installer does not see the apks. Gallery does not see the pics, but the ringtones are selectable by the settings thru contacts or setting sounds. STock ebook reader does not see my ebooks that are in a folder "ebooks".
With the file explorer on the note was able to open the sd card and install the apks manually.
How do I get the note to see the stuff on the external card?

You do realize that class 4 has a MAXIMUM transfer rate of 4MB/s, right? That means that under the absolute best circumstances that it will take 2.2 hours to fill it up or to read all of the data.
But in real world experience, a class 4 that I had a couple of years ago would routinely take 25 minutes for a 4GB video to copy to it.
Just spend a little bit extra and get something that you won't want to throw across the room, well at least not as often.

It would be very hard to find.
Seriously though, 32 gigs for 20 bucks ain't bad in my opinion, even if it's slow. Just start your super 32G file transfer before bed!
