Which version are you using? The newest version doesnt work with x10 mini(pro) so you have to use one of the older ones, it should say on the xda forum page which version to download.
I made that mistake once.

I believe if you have the latest version from the flash it won't say anything negative about your device. Should say your device is up to date so updating via pc companion would be unnecessary seeing you flashed the latest version im assuming.
Can someone tell me how to run the custom kernel made by z? Like exact instructions links needed clearly? I readed a few threads but didnt understand anything o.o

in that case its probably safer for you to just leave it alone. The kernel still needs work anyways and I myself am pretty firmilar with the flashing process and still managed to cause my phone to get stuck at the sony ericsson boot screen after flashing

Zzz like what the guy above me said, if your not 100% familiar with the flashing process then don't. Sigh might as well.
1 root your phone
2 install busybox and xrecovery
3 download the custom kernel
4 boot into xrecovery
5 install custom zip
6 select your kernel zip
7 wait a while, when done reboot
8 wait 10 min and done.

Hey guys,
Just woke up and my X10 had an update notification.
Does someone know what it is?
I'm on 2.1.B.0.1 with bb .52.
Could it be 2.3.3?
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
Probably not because 2.3.3 was said to be through pb companion not OTA
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
It said I should use my computer to update...
But SE didn't post something about an update and I don't want to lose my mods.
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
rest assured- no updates yet. as soon as read your post plugged my X10 to PC- companion says all's up to date. false alarm then!
Ok
When I try SEUS it will save my IMEI and save that my X10 is modded, right?
Also I've heart that SEUS will just update my bb when it's old.
Just posted the thread because it's the first update notification and thought it'd be the 2.3.3 update we're all waiting for.

if u have a rooted and modded phone, u won't be able to get the update. the only way for u to get the original SE update to 2.3.3 will be to plug the phone in to PC once the update is out, and choose the option "repair"- it will actually whipe your whole phone (including the system partition as well) and put the newest system available in- therefore, all user data is lost.
I know, I'll just flash it to stock with FlashTool then.

and yes, the system will be delivered with automatic update of baseband too, so no worries here.
flashtool or not- u'd have to go back to unmodified, unrooted stock- recently SE stopped the support for rooted phones (which I find kind of a stepback).
Uh, you know that you can make a backup via xrecovery right? Everything will be backup including your bb if I'm not mistaken.

i cant wait for andrid 2.3.3 to see if the removed fps

Of course, but updates can be unrootable..
After removing the custom kernel I don't get the message anymore. (I think it was caused by bb .52)

bb are not included via xrecovery....if u restore u will get the same bb that u are
using before u restore....
Installed more than
roms From here
installed root
installed xRecovery
everything's ok
But after installed roms from here
The screen is at a sony ericsson Over time
After the restart, as is the problem
And then came down through the original Rom by Update Service
Even so, we should be polite. Yes, and I second his post (minus that censored profanity)
Sent from my X10mini using XDA App
I third that for the english, but OP, looks like in the end you have made the phone work by updating the phone using SE update service.
i wonder what was your problem?
Probably the wrong baseband.. Stick with stock rom and use search facility to read about basebands and different roms.

I have anAT&T Xperia X10A i am trying to flash to 3.0.1, so i can unlock for T-Mobile.I am using FlashTools 0.9.9.0 for Xperias (downloaded from androxyde website linked on the How To For n00bies thread) but it doesnt recognize the X10A. It defaults it to the X10 Mini Pro. I've installed all the driver files, same issue. The phone will go into 'Flash Mode', but it keeps saying its not recognized, even with the firmware (X10A 3.0.1 G.0.75 North America Generic ftf file) added to the folder C:/Flashtools/Firmwares. I do not have a working SIM card (the one that came with it when purchased says its 'faulty'). I know the ins and outs of computers but i've never rooted an android device before. iPhones are easy! , Even following the information in How To For n00bies i'm not having luck with the X10A being seen. I have not found anything about the X10A specifically, only all the other X10 xperias out there. Any help would be fantastic! Thanks gusy (and gals)

Try turning off your phone and booting it up while it plugged in and also I think the latest flashtools is giving some trouble so try the previous version.

I too have an x10a. It's been almost 2 years since I rooted mine. From what I remember you have to de-brand the phone from ATT. There was some weird procedure from what I can recall. Let me see if I can find some links...
Edit: recover the phone to original setup using SEUS, then root using flahtools....then flash that generic firmware. To use it on different carrier, you need to sim unlock the phone....might have to shell out some cash to do so.
