No matter what i have tried and no matter what i restore it to I get the first upodate to 3588 but it wont go any further . if I tell the tablet to check for an update it says there arent any..
It says my current version is : Flextronics/harmoney/harmoney/:2.2/FRF91/Hudson-20110118-193312-TnT_SvN_3588:user/test-keys
any help would be appreciated.
The latest update (4349) has been pulled. They're supposed to be working on a new release soon.

Newer update than .13?

I just got my prime today and first thing I did was to update to .13 update (which was released yesterday) manually. Now it's updated and working fine but there is another notification still left in my device which says "asus system fw update service" - " a firmware has been downloaded for your device and press here to install it". I'm not sure if it is a newer update or it will try to install the same or some old update and I dont want to mess up the working setup that I now have...
Any guesses/suggestions?
It might be a camera update. When I got my Prime a couple of weeks ago, it first updated to .11 and then I got a camera update. My camera version is now 0x9900. You can check your in Settings -> About tablet.
^^ Thanks. But it's not the camera update. Camera update was a separate notification saying new camera fw update is available and I updated that and its the latest version now.

[Q] Stuck at 3.2, rooted and Build#10 Kernel

Hello!
First of all, thank you - Condi - for this great tool.
Unfortunately I managed it to flash a downloaded OTA (signed-nbx03_007-ota-11000.014).
Right now, the device is rooted, has Android 3.2 and Kernel Build10#1 on it.
I was able to disable update notifications with your tool, but everything else is not working right now because of the common Build10 Problem.
Is there a way to get back to stock, even without root but @ 3.2.1 and the upcoming 4.0.3?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, but this it not really true. The build#10 problem concerns only 3.2.1r2 version. Otherwise you would be not able to root your device with version 3.2.
Could you explain what you mean with "but everything else is not working right now because of the common Build10 Problem.", please?
Regarding your question .. it is really easy to go back to stock .. switch update notifivcation "on" (maybe you have to restore origional build.prop) and install the update version 3.2.1R2 ... done.
Its a bit difficult to explain, but right now I have 3.2 installed.
After switching the update notification to ON, I get the message to update to 3.2 again (!?)
Right now, I have root access in my device. The tool is able to switch notification on/off, but re-root or another step (6-8) is not possible for me.
I get the error that is typical for Build#10 in the script.

OTA updates

Hi all,
Ive got the UK GB S3 and have rooted it to remove all bloatware etc...
I have sinced removed the root, so I can use barclays ping it,
recently a couple of OTA updates were pushed to my phone and with CWM installed
the phone obviously cannot apply the updates in download mode.
Is there any way to download the updates and install them to the phone manually?
(Ive removed kies - but can put it back on if required).
Thanks in advance

Either use Kies or flash the Update through Odin

[Q] Rejected 4.4.2 upgrade, now what happens?

Hi, I have a short question for a weird situation.
I was running Android 4.4, rooted and CWM installed. Got a notification for 4.4.2 update being ready (like, a week after upgrading to 4.4), and tapped it. Phone reboots into debug mode to install it, but then CWM starts yelling at me saying this zip I'm trying to install is unsigned.
So I stop the upgrade. Phone reboots back into Android 4.4 and I don't get the update notification icon again.
Two questions:
- will I get the update prompt again? if not, can I do it manually while keeping all my stuff like happened on the 4.4 upgrade?
- is the Android 4.4.2 update really unsigned? is there a danger in accepting it?
I'm not sure what to do now since I didn't have CWM flashed when I did the upgrade to 4.4, which went completely smooth.
OK so I got the upgrade notification again today. I updated and everything's fine. So yes, the Android 4.4.2 update was unsigned (or CWM couldn't verify it) and yes, your device will get the update again if you refuse it.
Now to reflash CWM so I can reroot it...
