Hello!
First of all, thank you - Condi - for this great tool.
Unfortunately I managed it to flash a downloaded OTA (signed-nbx03_007-ota-11000.014).
Right now, the device is rooted, has Android 3.2 and Kernel Build10#1 on it.
I was able to disable update notifications with your tool, but everything else is not working right now because of the common Build10 Problem.
Is there a way to get back to stock, even without root but @ 3.2.1 and the upcoming 4.0.3?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, but this it not really true. The build#10 problem concerns only 3.2.1r2 version. Otherwise you would be not able to root your device with version 3.2.
Could you explain what you mean with "but everything else is not working right now because of the common Build10 Problem.", please?
Regarding your question .. it is really easy to go back to stock .. switch update notifivcation "on" (maybe you have to restore origional build.prop) and install the update version 3.2.1R2 ... done.
Its a bit difficult to explain, but right now I have 3.2 installed.
After switching the update notification to ON, I get the message to update to 3.2 again (!?)
Right now, I have root access in my device. The tool is able to switch notification on/off, but re-root or another step (6-8) is not possible for me.
I get the error that is typical for Build#10 in the script.

Hi everyone. I use kies to do a system update yesterday, after it the system becomes Android 3.2 and works fine.
However, there is one thing make me confused. I install a customized bootloader and root the tab before, after the update, the root went away automatically, I checked and find the bootloader also comes back to the original version. Don't know why it happens.
I am wondering, with the system update to 3.2, does the original root method still work?
Yes. You can repeat the same procedure to get root back

Thanks, I'll try.
Hi friends,
I have rooted stock rom with unlocked bootloader. when I recieved the latest OTA update notification and tried to update, this update refused to install.
then I renamed this file to update.zip and installed manually.
After that I have 1.43.531.3 software version but with not working wifi and bluetooth.
I have CWM recovery, unlocked bootloader and rooted stock rom with all bloatware inside and just want to have latest software, working Wifi and bluetooth.
Please tell me in details what should be my next step?
Regards,
Zaza
I had the same problem the other day. xboarder told me it was my kernel and to search the forums. I had no such luck. I had to start from scratch, which meant I had to follow the instructions for "Step 4. Restore your Amaze 4g To STock- (This means you will have amaze back to the way you bought it from store)". afterwards I started over from Step 1 - 3. Hope this helps.
I've tried everything but couldn't get my tablet to root. My device was found by adb but kept getting permission denied. I spent 10 hours now trying to root it. I've uninstall, reinstall, any method you can find on the web and still couldn't get it to run. I'm running 3.2 build 10 #1. Please help....

Is it really version 3.2 on your Tab? I heard from an user from Italy with the same combination of FW and kernel. The solution was to update of the latest version 3.2.1R2. He got a lower kernel build (<9) and was able to root his phone afterwards. You can try the same .. and you lose nothing ...
From my personal point of view it makes sense to update to the latest FW version, independent of root problem .
hi, i have a problem with my tablet, i tryed the tool ALLinOne and first i rooted my device and it was fine.
after that i installed rescue-backdoor and the tablet installed the 3.2.1 android again. and i lost the root.
but the problem is, i can't root my tablet anymore now. i get the message:
your kernel version ... has been locked down
Hi,
If you have kernel build #10, then you can't root.
The problem is that once you have root and applied rescue-door, then you should NOT update, otherwise you loose all your changes.
The main problem is that seems that the new update you downloaded brings build 10... so you can forget root for a time.

maybe it is possible to install a other OS via the recovery mode?
Not without root ... sorry for this bad news ...
Now you only can wait for ICS update.
May be there is a little chance to change the unfortunately situation.
Hey, I'm rooted and s-off, running (firmware, I think) 2.06.605.1 710RD. I've been ignoring the software update Verizon sent out a while ago by pressing the home button on my phone whenever the update popup appears, but I'd like to make it go away for good, and the best way to do that is to update.
The thing is, I'd like to do it without the hassle of unrooting and going back to s-on (if I even need to do that) to update, then getting s-off and root again. I heard it's possible if you flash a pre-rooted ROM of the update through a custom recovery, and I found a pre-rooted, updated rom a while ago on the forum, but now I can't find it. The update is called HTC6435LVW_2.07.605.1-2.06.605.1.
First of all, will this work?
Secondly, I'm going to keep searching for the 2.07 rom, but can anyone let me know if they have a link to the thread?
Thanks for your help.
Edit 2: To all who saw my first edit, I have confirmed that this is the TTY update, not the 4.2.2 update. However, I think the 4.2.2 update will be available after I flash the 2.07 update, so please let me know if flashing a pre-rooted rom still works for entire OS updates (and if there even is a pre-rooted rom for 4.2.2 yet).
Edit 3: Wow, I should have finished reading xda's article on the subject before I edited last time. Apparently there's already a pre-rooted rom for the 4.2.2 update, so that won't be a problem. Ok, that should be all.
