wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to get the stock Honeycomb calendar widget on the Flyer. I found a thread for the Galaxy tab which talks about restoring the full HC calendar app, but I'm afraid that would break a few things since the Sense calendar integrated with the contacts app and the Notes app.

Anybody extracted the email widget from 1.6.. I'd like to use it on a couple of my other android devices such as the G tablet. Also before I go to 2.2, can someone tell me if there is an email and gmail widget in 2.2 for the streak..

I just posted this elsewhere as a response to an attachment issue, then thought perhaps others have found even better solutions to replace MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDAR, TASKS and NOTES
I found better looking solutions for MAIL and CALENDAR but has anyone found better solutions for CONTACTS and an easy way to SYNC NOTES and TASKS with exchange?
I like the look of HTC Sense which I know can't run on our device, so I am looking for Apps that look similar (and have nice widgets)
Here is what I posted as a response to an attachment problem:
I have had that issue on the stock email program. There is something called smart forwarding somewhere in the setup., I think. Allows you to forward without downloading the attachment. However I ended up installing an app called ENHANCED EMAIL which I use instead of the stock app. Also doesn't require my exhange password to unlock the phone (I can use the other unlock choices ) . It this app I don't have the attachment issue. The MAIL gui is much nicer. It uses the same contacts and calendar gui.
Im fact I also use an app called BUSINESS CALENDAR which is an overlay over the calendar gui that is much more like HTC Sense and looks vastly better than the stock calendar app.
Business Calendar also has an excellent widget.

I just updated my rom to CM based. I really loved the calendar that was on the s4 stock. Is there any calendar app that someone could suggest similar to the look of that but for AOSP?

Old post but wanted to bump it.
I kinda want to go to stock android but there are no other calendar / task apps that sync tasks with exchange like the TW apps do. Is there another app that you are using to sync tasks with exchange or can you install the stock TW calendar / mail app on a stock android / cyanogenmod rom?

So I've got a brand spankin' new Nexus 5... along with the apprpriate glitches.
One problem I've seen is that when I get a calendar invitation, and ask to view it in the calendar, it shows me the invitation instead of the calendar. In Jelly Bean, that same button would show me the new meeting and all the other meetings to see if there were conflicts or something. I no longer see that view. I tried it with two calendar apps, Google's and a third-party, and both have the same behavior.
Anyone else see this?

I am looking for samsung calendar for my phone.
I want to move on to cm10.2 (official samsung's 4.3 sucks), but I really love the samsung's calendar.
Is there a way to install it on cm10.2 ?
I think that Its not possible to get the Touchwiz Samsung Calendar Widget under Cyanogenmod. But I can suggest you the Business Calendar from the Google play store, Its pretty good too.
I tried the business calendar, it only shows colors of events, samsug's shows 3 event names
