[Q] I9300 + CM10.2 samsung calendar widget ? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I am looking for samsung calendar for my phone.
I want to move on to cm10.2 (official samsung's 4.3 sucks), but I really love the samsung's calendar.
Is there a way to install it on cm10.2 ?

I think that Its not possible to get the Touchwiz Samsung Calendar Widget under Cyanogenmod. But I can suggest you the Business Calendar from the Google play store, Its pretty good too.

I tried the business calendar, it only shows colors of events, samsug's shows 3 event names

[Q] Stock Honeycomb calendar widget

wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to get the stock Honeycomb calendar widget on the Flyer. I found a thread for the Galaxy tab which talks about restoring the full HC calendar app, but I'm afraid that would break a few things since the Sense calendar integrated with the contacts app and the Notes app.

[Q] how to install google calendar on note?

Is there any way to install google calendar on the galaxy note? i'm sorry but S planner sucks very bad, it does not sync my time properly (weird it shows time data but is not actaully in the correct time slot), and i cannot set default reminder time. what are you thinking samsung?
it is unrooted running gingerbread.
Just sync your Google account to the Note and the calendar should be there.

The stock calendar is a pretty good implementation. I like the way it has the different tabs on the side for day, week and month views.
As stated, sync you google account in Settings->Accounts and make sure the Calendar option is checked.
Interesting. I find the stock calendar to be much better than the GMAIL one. If you really dont like it; try Jorte. Whatever calander app you use, you still sync the google content the same way.
Has anyone found away to sync the notes tasks with a Google account?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk
i've just tried JORTE, MUCH better. at least it sync properly.
HOWEVER, whenever i have 5 appointments int he same timeslot, JORTE only shows the last one. in google calendar, it would would shorten them to show all of them.. anyway i can do this in JORTE?
I think the calendar that comes on the note is FANTASTIC a lot better than any stock or gmail calendar I have seen on Android phones these days.

Removing Google Calendar app hides all google calendars

I have encountered a problem on several different android phones. calendars are disappearing if I install+uninstall the Google Calendar App (the official one)
Steps to reproduce:
install some calendar app (i.e. Business calendar)
install Google Calendar
make sure that your google calendars are shown correctly in both apps.
uninstall google calendar
Now the calendars have disappeared from the other calendar app and there is no way to add them again (they are not showing up in the list).
I have seen the problem on Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Note3, Nexus4+5, HTC One
Installing the Google calendar app again makes it possible to first re-enable the calendars in Google Calendar app and then they are again possible to add in the other calendar apps.
Is there a way to fix this without having to have the google calendar app installed (dont want it installed as it is a huge BatteryHog using 30-40% of my battery for "StartingAlarmService").

And finally I found a working solution myself (of cause only after posting my question here after a lot of testing).
The simple fix (for others with the problem) is:
- go into setting-> applications manager -> all
- Find Calendar Storage
- clear cache+data and force stop
- wait a few minutes as the service will resync calendar data.
Now the calendars are available again
Thanks so much
Thanks man it helped me after some searching

S-planner sync icon missing on s3 widget but not s2 ??

Hi
I'm upgrading from my S2 to an S3. It's going well apart from S-Planner syncing.
The sync icon is missing from the top right of the S3 widget. I can sync from the app itself though !?. Where has the sync button gone ?, there seem to be no options to add or remove it. I'm syncing with google on both devices...
S2 - Android 4.1.2
S3 - Android 4.3

Android Calendar Application

Hi
I have a galaxy s7 edge.
At the moment i use S planner with widget which shows my friends birhtdays (calendarA). I want to install a second calendar app to keep my personal tasks (calendarB) with its own widget . I installed many apps but the problem is that they sync with my S planner so whenever i create calendarB and choose it to display, the calendarA disappears from S planner and it shows the same calendar i choose from the new app. Is there any applications to solve this?
Hope i have explained my problem.
Cheers ...
