Hi!
I wanted to use CM7.2 on my Neo so I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my phone.
Then I follwed this awesome guide to the letter:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1299729
And now when I start my phone I wont get a GSM signal. (Baseband = Unknown)
Everything else seems to work. :/
I went from 2.3.3 to CM7.2 (2.3.7).
How can I fix this?
BR
/Schmedi
flash it mannualy with flashtool
Solved it by flashing the .42 firmware.
But then I got some problem with battery always standing on zero.
The battery problem were solved according to the fix posted by bazook.

Hello,
I flashed my x10mini (E10i / 2.1 update1 / 2.1.1.C.0.0 / 10W34 / SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE) to kernel E10_nAa-11_2.6.29.6-nAa-11 and rom MiniCM7-2.1.9-robyn. Although s1tool said SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, I noticed a huge decrease in signal for radio (telefon-signal). It is only possible to use the phone outside and even outside the signal is not permanent. Wifi works normally. Therefore I reflashed the phone with SEUS and relocked the Bootloader. But the bad radio-signal is still there. The baseband version is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 now, the handy is first-hand SE for use in Germany.
any hint/tip/is welcome.

Did you check with any other phone, whether the radio signal is ok? (by any chance are you referring to phone signal strength or is it the radio channel?)
Yes, I checked the signal, it is ok. And I do not mean the signal strenght of FM-radio. Perhaps I need another baseband?
Hello,
the problem still exists. Flashing other roms, kernels and basebands did not help. Perhaps the experts can tell me, that there is nothing to do but a repair by SE.
Hi everyone, Ive got this x10mini and tried to put in it the cyanogenmod firmware. everything went fine, but i notice that i cant get no operator signal.
so, im searching for my original firmware/baseband wich are E10a 2.1.1.A.0.6 baseband ends with 006.
downgrading with wotan i cant get the original 006 baseband, thats why im in need of help to download the firmware.
so please, if someone could help me with this i will be forever in debt. thanks...
Hello, i have upgraded my Bell Galaxy note to ICS using kies (it has been hard at first as OTA was failing and kies failed first time but got it right after)
After ICS installed and me very happy to have it at last i noticed twice now that LTE or my connection was dead and i had to reboot the phone to have it working again ... otherwise was like no network (showing LTE but no activity and not able to browse or send sms etc)
Any suggestion on what it could be or if a known issue with ICS ?
And where do i get the premium suite ? coming with the ICS update or need to download it somewhere else ?
Thanks for any help ....

Again i had to restart my phone as the radio was not working anymore (no signal) ... after reboot the signal was excellent .. (been doing that a couple of time since upgrade to ICS official ... any suggestion ? should i flash back to stock Bell without ICS and then upgrade again .. as the first time i upgraded to ICS it was on a phone already rooted and with CMW .. but no rom
well .. nobody answered yet so ... i will go on and flash stock Bell gingerbread and then update back to ICS with the phone all clean of everything to see if the intermittent not working signal will be fixed that way ...
Also i have not heard if any known LTE problems with ICS ? ....
Will update with my results .. hope i do not brick my phone
Simply wow ... i just flashed with a Bell stock system for gingerbread .. all fine but then i go to Kies or ota upgrade and no traces of ics ????? how can it get back the upgrade for ICS now ????
i have problem with my mini pro
my phone wifi always kept disconnect in about 2 mins and reconnect again
this makes my download broke and failed for update app
i've tried to use fw .58 .62 update to ICS .587 but no one solve the problem
can anyone help me? i love gb because its performace
i'm using stock gb fw .58 rooted
Have you tried to set your router to g/b instead of g/b/n standard? You could try that
Or update your phone to .62 or .69 or flash another baseband (but I'm not sure if the baseband affects wifi)...
I've got bad reception. At home sometimes no bars, no reception, or sometimes 1-2 bars. If I get to a window I get 2 bars tops.
Outside it sometimes disconnects and I have to reboot.
Drives me nuts.
I have another older smartphone at home that's 3g - same carrier - full reception.
In Neo V Battery life is bad. At "about phone" I see it changing all the time, I didn't have the chance to check outside, but due the constant disconnections outside I figure it's also changing.
Is changing the baseband the way to go?
The original BB was 4.1.B.0.587 baseband (77)
Now it appears as 8x55a-aaabqoazm-203028g-77 (under "about phone")
I'm running CM10 nightlies
If I put the wrong baseband can it brick the phone?
Should I flash 4.1.B.0.587 baseband (77) on cm10 (JB)?
Any better baseband than 77 (I'm Israeli on a 850/2100 network)?
Lots of question, you don't have to answer all, any help would be greatly appreciated.

As u say it appears on 77 in about phone, its already on 77 baseband of .587 firmware.. I don't know whether you have got the update of .13 firmware in your place but as far as i know, there isn't any ftf file available for .13 firmware.. The new firmware comes with a new baseband too.. So till then 77 is latest.. just give it a check though.. I told you whatever i knew..

@veepe:
Try different SIM Cards if they give you full reception, it maybe the problem with your SIM Card.
If this doesn't work,
Try reinstalling everything from the scratch. First, Flash ICS .ftf using Flashtool & start your phone.
Check if you have proper network.
If there is proper network, then flash kernel from CM10 zip, Install ROM via Recovery, Then check your network.
Now if the problem occurs, it means the problem is with the CM10 ROM. Then you'll have to wait until it's fixed & stay on stock ROM or try other ROMs...

well, i tried everything - all basebands, flashed different stock firmwares with original kernels for both mt11i and mt11a (mine) - no improvement.
It's definitely something in the phone, the sim works great in another phone. Tried 3 diff sims in the problematic phone.
I'm thinking it maybe related to a water damage I had a few months ago. I went to a lab right after that for a preventive treatment, maybe something's wrong with the hardware.
If changing softwares isn't working, there is a high chance that this is a hardware problem. You should get it repaired then...
Good Luck!
