Hello,
today I updated my telephone and during my reinstall I downloaded a new Office Mobile 6.1 (PPC Edition with One Note Mobile included) to install it. The CAB works wonderfully but I am not able to choose the installation directory, it only starts to install on main memory without asking. My old version (Smartphone Version of Office 6.1 without One Note Mobile) always ask where to install the program.
That is why I want to know how I can change the installation directory of the new Office. (I Want to install it on SD Card)
It is normal that PPC programs do not ask where to install?
P.S I am using the WM 6.1 Pro by Erofich
thats dont a difficult question - just use a search, or try to find another cab
I already searched for antother CAB and I found three different ones but they also do not ask where to install.
Could you post a link for another (working) CAB?

You can use a cab editor (I don't remember the name) to modify any of those cabs to default to storage card. try a search on..."Make cab install on storage card"

OK, look at the top bar, You should see a word that looks like this - "Search". Click on it, type in a request making sure to specify the hermes. Wow, answers galore....

You need to do this BEFORE upgrading the rom. You need Hard SPL V7.
I got problem to instal spl v7. When trying to update it after a certain next, the display gone multi color and it says that connection is no longer exist. when I check spl on my device it shows spl 2.03. I am using vista home. What to do. Sorry for bother you again.
Go to page 116,post 1160 of thread I gave you. It tells you how to install Hard SPL with the sd card.
Just remember, the sd card MUST be 2Gb or less, it has to formatted FAT32 and the spelling of hermimg.nbh is VERY important.

I still can't find the wm6.1 upgrade page. I tried HardSPL 7, it finishes in an instance, how do i check whether i have HardSPL it?
And where do i find the update for 6.1? I'm pretty new to all this, so I am kinda blur and lost now~

Down load the rom, extract the files
rename the ruu_sgned file to "Hermimg"
Now put a micro SD memory card in a card reader
open my computer right click the drive that represents the memory card and format it
choose the fat 32 file system.
now copy the hermimg fie to the root of the card
soft boot your phone
press the power button to comfirm the rom update and watch the progress bar
when complete
reset your phone and the new software will install
if you get a new soft ware installed do you want to reset pick no
the phone will reset when all the software is installed.

I am planning to install Android on my company HD2 but have the following questions :
- I see that radio (don't really know what it is but nevermind) has to be upgraded. In case my phone completely freezes, what would be the procedure to revert to the factory setting with WinMo ? (I have a HTC HD2 Sense without any specific operator rom)
- Up to now, (Sep 16), what would be the easiest tutorial to follow for a beginner and the most stable Rom. I'd like ideally the HTC Sense one if possible. I have a 16GB Class10 Micro SD card.

You're posting in the wrong thread. But...

You don't have to flash android on you HD2.
It's not possible, yet.
All you have to do is download an android version (just choose one) and copy the "android"-folder to your SD card.
If you're ready, open "CLRCAD.EXE" in the android folder (nothing happens, thats ok). After that open "HARET.EXE". Android is booting.
If you want to go back to WinMo, just restart your phone.
That's all.

step by step:
- Go on the HTC website > support > HTC HD2 > Rom upgrade
- Enter your S/N
- Download the ROM file
- Open the "RUU_Leo_(S)_HTC_xxx_x.xx.xxx.x_..._LEO_(S)_Ship" with WinZip/Zip7 and extract the "RUU_signed.nbh"
- Renamed the "RUU_signed.nbh" to "leoimg.nbh"
- Take a SD card (a 2GB is perfect) (Don't use 8GB ore bigger)
- Format your SD (select FAT32)
- Copy the leoimg.nbh to your SD
- Set your device off
- Insert your SD
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button
- Follow the instructions on your screen.
PS; I mention it already in the beginning; but it's important to use the correct ROM!
By using your S/N on the HTC webpage you will get the right ROM.
I just read you have edit your first post; I suppose you don't have HSPL.
In this case you can just run the "RUU_Leo_(S)_HTC_xxx_x.xx.xxx.x_..._LEO_(S)_Ship" right from your PC by connecting your device over Active sync.

Edit. I did it now, but there is still CotullaHSPL???
So I did it:

Guys i have big problem i try back stock rom from sd card i used good rom from htc i have big problem while isnatiling showing error 00018003 OS-fail, Updaute Terminate Update Fail??? What now i did like in instruction but i have 8gb sd card, that my problem, please help.7!!!!

how can i check my CID?? because i dont which rom install? and i check bootlaeder and i have official spl but a cant install sd card
HSPL2 is not compatible with TMOUS Leos, so how am I supposed to get SPL back?

Normally if you follow the instruction; it will works on a 2GB SD card.
But if it don't work for you; can you mention what you did and where at witch point it goes wrong.
Ok from the begining, I have hspl and have custom rom, chance a lot, and yesterday leo didnt work i cant install any rom so i decided to come back to stock rom, im polish ORANGE Mobile so try wwe easteurope stock 3.14, 1.66, 1.48 and 1.43 from sdcard beacause my leo was broken and i cant connect with my laptop so did like you said download the offical rom from htc, format sd card, change ruusigned to leoimg, at start was goog, install get process, in the end was show OS-fail error 00018003 and Update Terminate, pdate Fail??? and i chance card from 8gb to 2 gb and the same, any idea what can i do??

Sir, a small question. You mention in your post "polish ORANGE Mobile" do you mean you have a branded device?
If you go on the HTC webpage (polish) and you enter your S/N are you able to download the stock ROM 3.14? Ore give it you a error?
yes I bought in polish Orange, yes a try from polish htc supoort, the same problem....

If you mean by " I bought in polish Orange" that it's a branded device than it's normal sir. there is no orange polish stock ROM 3.14.
In this case you need to use the GoldCard technique.

Hi mdotph,
if you want to run Android from SD card you have to put the downloaded file in the root directory of your sd card. Get your Android version of choice from the Android SD card section of the forum. Be sure to check the sticky thread in the Android on SD card section in the first place.
