Transformer/Nexus Drivers - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Can anyone help me set the drivers up on my laptop? Currently I have it set up for a galaxy nexus and i think that is causing problems with the the TF201 drivers
Willing to teamview or w.e

Does your pc not detect the prime? Windows 7?
Did you try downloading the drivers from the asus site?

Attached image is what i currently have

Only the nexus is showing up in adb so i cant root my prime =\

most likely the debug driver that is currently out there does not include the Prime ID. If you have the SDK components installed. Go to the adb ini file in your android SDK folder and add the usb id to the list.
To find the usb id, open the device properties of the prime in the device manager. I would give you a better walk through but I'm at work right now.
If you look around for the amazon kindle rooting walk through, it shows how to add the kindle usb id. Just do the same thing but with the Prime's usb id.

So i reformatted and installed these drivers -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426502
Now i have both showing up in device manager but only the nexus shows up in adb... ive tried it with both plugged in and just the prime plugged in
Help?

The USB drivers for the Prime are here if this helps:

That one is only for windows correct?
I still don't see the "software" link under "all downloads", only the PDF manual. I'm on the page via desktop browser and the URL is non-mobile. Do you have the direct download link?

You can always try the download link for Tmo variant. Should be the same:
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/c..._T889_Note_II_Samsung_USB_Driver_v1_4_6_0.exe
When I first plugged my phone into my Windows 7 machine, it showed up as a CD Drive. Double clicked on this and the driver .exe was in there. Installed this and everything is up and running.

To get this to happen for mine, I had to plug it in, it installed some stuff, then I had to remove it and plug it back in, then the "CD Drive (VERIZON)..." or whatever showed up that had the installer files in there...Thanks for the heads up.
Samsung Note 2 SCH-i605
The driver for the Samsung Note 2 SCH-i605 should be on the phone already.
When you connected to your PC using a USB cable, it should automatically install.
I had some links on here from the samsung dot com site.
One for PC requirements, one where you can download Kies to sync your pc to your phone, and the online chat support,
But since I'm a new user here. I can't use outside links. sorry
NOW WITH THAT ALL SAID AND DONE.
I'm having trouble with my driver and believe it may be corrupt, or there's a setting placed on the Verizon phone thats not allowing it
Kies is reporting my device is not supported. I'm on day 3 with the Samsung tech support and looking to download a driver from another site myself.

Connecting New Note II to computer?

Im trying to connect my new Verizon Note II to the computer and im having trouble. Unable to find software on your pc that can recognize your device. Where can I get the Samsung USB Driver for Windows? I have looked and it keeps downloading junk programs.

Dude, I was having the same damn thing. I was hooking it up to my ACer W500 and it would not recognize it at all. It kept giving me a USB Error (port reset error) or some crap like that. I did a factory refreshm still no go. I went as far as reloading Windows and still no go... So I thought, let me hook it up through a UBS Hub and blam, it worked... Strangest ****! My SGS3 worked fine but the Note 2 wouldnt. I still havent figured it out but it worked through the hub... Give that a try,
I highly doubt you looked up the drivers. Theirs links all over this forum and believe it or not you can get them from SAMSUNGS website wow! If you can't even install drivers please don't root/unlock it.

No!
The device drivers come from the manufacturer.
Not from google
You should check your manufacturer's website for your drivers.

Of course. I said it doesn't straight away come from google. It's not their business to provide drivers.

[Q] Can't disable USB debugging

I have a couple of issues, but I believe they are related.
First I can't get usb debugging to stay off.
If I turn it off and reboot it turns back on when I plug the phone into a computer or after a few minutes. Also disabling it and turning developer options off gives me a message box telling me that usb debugging is for development then I can see the usb debugging checkbox is selected even though the developer options are turned off.
This is a problem because I cannot get the phone to show up as MTP/mass storage on my PC. If I connect it to my PC (with the included usb cable) everything installs fine with the exception of the MTP driver which fails every time. The same phone works fine on my laptop. I have HTC Sync installed and that does not seem to help. Sometimes Sync recognizes the music on the phone, but regardless the device does not show up in My Computer except for the sync and verizon installers which show as CD drives.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
That's funny...we posted the same issue almost at the same time. If you figure it out, let me know...lol

All I see in device manager is an entry under Portable Devices->MTP
It doesn't mention anything about the manufacturer etc.
Everytime I plug the phone in it attempts to install the MTP driver and fails each time.
In fact it seems to attempt to reinstall all the drivers each time I plug the phone in to the machine.
Are you running Windows? If so...which version?

Search in Google for MTP drivers for your device.. Install it and try.. Hope this helps.. Or check for MTP driver in device manager.
Thank me if you find my post as useful

Wow now my machine isn't recognizing my Motorola Atrix 4G which is still on Gingerbread and just has an SD card in it. It recognizes the internal storage on the phone, but won't open folder/files, and won't even show the sd card at all.
Starting to think I may have to re-install windows.
You need to reinstall HTC drivers. And remove all other you may installed earlier.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but nothing worked. So I reinstalled Windows 8, then I installed the HTC Drivers found here on xda before plugging in the phone to PC and it works great now. I think installing HTC Sync messed it up somehow. Not using it anymore! lol
