I bought SGS2 GTi1900g a few weeks ago, and it came with GB 2.3.7. A day after i purchased the phone, i rooted it and installed it with ICS 4.0.3 if im not mistaken and i rooted it as well.
Just now, i decided to flash Darkyrom HD... after i read some info about it.
This is the thread link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544689
The Thread Title - [ROM][ICS][LPQ][ODIN+CWM] DarkyROM HD Base XXLPQ for I9100
So i guess the rom will be compatible with my SGS2 i9100g, and i flashed using Odin3. After that, i flashed the DarkyRom also using Odin...But Odin didnt fully flashed it encounted an error. Since that, i am totally ****Ed UP!! The darkyrom somehow changed my internal to emmc and everything i did to revert will end up with the same error... Error Mount /Emmc! I Tried everything... i think i've even formated my SD... OMFG i lost everything. But i dont want to lost the phone.
What can i do? How can i change the name back to how it was? I believed that is the culprit... unfinisned installation, and internal_card changed to emmc, so every other installations will failed.
Pls ... im so desperate... been doing this for hours its 6.15am already lol i aint go to work if i cant get it booted i had evrything inside it. Jees i shoudnt even bother with this rom so dangerous
PS: Now my sgs2 stucked at samsung galaxy SII start screen with black background, i can enter recovery/download mode but they are useless as i said earlier the name of internalcard has changed to emmc so is it bricked?

Ouch.
Darkyrom is an I9100 ROM, not an I9100G ROM. (read the thread. It says I9100. NOT I9100G.)
I9100G cannot use any I9100, I9100T, I9100P, or I9100M firmwares or ROMs due to the different hardware. (different SoC/CPU/GPU)
If you can get to download mode, try this.

Well, the good news is that you used a firmware file intended for the I9100G above. If it's still failing as above though, try:
- different USB ports on the computer (no hubs or pass-throughs)
- different USB cable
I'm assuming you for sure have drivers installed? (If you have Kies installed at all, then you should have drivers)

Ok i followed the guide in that thread you mentioned.
The file only came with .tar.md5 file, no PIT file or bootloader/csc file.

I didn try different cables but i followed the guide you posted step by step.
I downloaded the .pit file, 'odined' it. Download the stock rom, did the same and everything running ok, odin showed the flash was completed!
The phone reboot, and installing apps (1st time boot) .. but i can see somewhere in the lines it says 'error mounting...'
Then it reboot again, voila! i got my GB booting up perfectly! Thanks a million !

as u can see the product name is "empty"
I really need your help! please...
Thanks
Have you tried to reflash with odin?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
The main thing is you can get into download mode still, like previous post said reflash on a reliable laptop
Reflash with odin. If still problem, remove/replace. battery and Reflash. I think it ll work...

I'm a bit of a Noob but here's what I would try - go to sammobile.com and find the latest official ROM for your phone/area. Download it to laptop. Start Odin. Put phone into Download mode then connect it. Click PDA and find the download file and flash it.
The official file should have all you need, but if you did this previous with PIT clicked you will need to ask someone more experienced than me - I haven't had any experience with that.
Another thing you might try is DL Revolution ROM (search for ARHD 9) and follow the Superwipe instructions to get rid of all the previous possible crap. I noticed when I used it there was all kinds of format-type stuff happening as the ROM installed.
If flashing with repartition failed after first try and now your nand is improperly partitioned or not partitioned at all, than you must now thick repartition while flashing by Odin because in other case it will not even start nand write.
But to make it properly you need Rom with separate parts (3 file firmware: PDA, PHONE, CSC) and proper .pit file for mapping new partition structure to flash it.
I can give you a link for such firmware but only for XEO region. If you need another one you must find it yourself.
Rom:
https://hotfile.com/dl/158814567/30ec3bc/GT-I9300_XEO_I9300XXALEF_I9300OXFALEA_I9300XXLEF.rar.html
Proper pit for above firmware:
https://hotfile.com/dl/162097667/e5b3f90/mx.zip.html
Flash with those probably will be successful, but if your nand partition information was erased than there is a risk of data loss on efs partition. But this will be your future problem.
i9.0.1.3k galaxy imperator
I think op need to use a proper pit file along with some stock odin rom to resolve this issue
《spilled from dragon jellybean rom》
And run ODIN as administrator.
My first NAND write failed win W7.
I retried it it worked (but as an Admin)
I still have the same problem even when i run odin as an administrator
still got that pit partition error!!

I tried everything possible but nothing worked. . I got stuck at factoryffs every time then hit xmit data failure. . M sure I hard bricked it now! ! Must be the motherboard. .
can someone please post links to the philz kernel and a stable india version JB firmware !! Please please ... im desperate!!
Search!! Dont be lazy its not hidden or hard to find.
seriously bro?? I found the thread to that kernel but that list is never ending.. God knows which kernel is for my phone!!
Only comment if you have answers please !!!!
All the videos that i watched online show how to install philz kernel on a working phone.
My phone is kinda dead... so what needs to be done after flashing philz kernel? Tell me the next steps please..
Does it still go to download mode? Does odin still see it?

Same problem here, my phone was working fine then all of a sudden i noticed it was dead, tried rebooting it, nothing happened, boot loop, tried to access CWM, i got the lower section menu of CWM but nothing else, a black screen with the buttons.
So next i said, let me use odin to flash a new kernel. That failed and ever since that failed, i cannot do anything except enter download mode. If i power the phone on, i get a [phone-problem-computer] image in yellow with text that says somehting like problem loading software, please conntect to kies recovery mode. of course that never works.
And everytime i try to flash absolutely anything on this device, Odin DOES see the device, and the second i press flash/start, when it reacher nand write start, it hangs there, stuck doing nothing.
I took the phone to a friend who has an Riff jtag box, he soldered his jtag to the phone and said the memory chip is not dead, i can read its capacity normally. But when he tried to write to it, it did not work, kept giving him errors, he said he has never encountered such a behavior before. And then i had to leave.
Up to now, my phone is still dead and i have no idea what to do. It only enters download mode, but at the same time, this is useless since flashing anything simply does not work. Anyone knows what the reason could be?
FYI, i was on NeatROM 5.5, which comes with Philz Kernel.
NAND is stuffed/corrupted. How/why - who knows ? Motherboard replacement if you've already tried JTAG. Could be something hardware going on that caused the chip to become 'damaged'.
Hi all,
I have a Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300. 2 days ago it crashed and won't boot anymore. The reason was can't mount /cache, can't mount system ... on recovery mode. I tried only the wipe cache option and it did nothing.
I started looking at the forum to understand how to fix it. I deciced first to make a backup of my data if possible so I downloaded Odin v3.07 and philz_touch_6.07.9-i9300.tar.md5. I read in another thread that we can manage to copy data from the phone using philz tools.
The problem here is that flashing philz tools with Odin fails all the time. Now I can only access the download mode. At boot, I have a "Firmware upgrade encountered an Issue..." I tried with Kies recovery but it failed too.
In my sdcard, I have no folder clockwordmode ! In download mode
PRODUCT NAME : GT-I9300
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD : Yes (3)
CURRENT BINARY : Custom
SYSTEM STATUS : Ofiicial
I am bit lost as there seem to be a lot of options in other threads. I don'y know where to start or what to do ? is it the PIT files to restore ? the firmware, the kernel ? the whole OS ?
Many thanks
Don't use pit file. pit is Last resort!!!! Get stock firmware from sammobile.com and flash it through Odin. Forget kies. Read about Odin before flashing.
You'll need to flash with a *.pit file, and the ROM downloaded from sammobile in order to restore your device. Use the *.pit file as the absolute last option to restore your phone. It will repartition your phone, and any power loss of either the machine you are flashing from, or your phone will render it a permanent brick.
Thank you
I am downloading the latest firmware from sammobile (1.1 GB) and Odin 3.09. There are specific instructions for Odin on sammobile website so I don't think i'm goint to mess it up. I will let you know if it did work for me.

Shall I try with an older image (this one is the latest) ? or retry by messing the PIT ?
Nand write fail = motherboard replacement.
Keep trying to flash and don't give up but please leave pit till the end. Yes try three part recovery firmware and older firmware "not ics" SDS on ics firmware and you don't want that. But at the end of the day nand write fail means hardware failure.

I succeeded to reinstall the latest firmware and I got back the samsung logo at boot. However It still doesn't go any further and no recovery mode ... Is there a way to check the status of the system ?
Omg its alive!! Odin said pass! Just keep flashing that firmware till you get recovery and then factory reset.
Try the rescue firmware in general thread, follow the instructions exactly.

Hello
An update of my case. After struggling 2 days with NAND write fail and trying lots of firmwares... I succeeded to install CMW recovery tool. From that, I installed Cyanogenmod 10.0.2. I struggled to make it boot too as it looped on cyanogen logo many times.

Hope it helps someone else :highfive:

Flash recovery twrp. 2.8.7.3 via heimdall. Other way flash back to stock rom with i9300 pit file via odin.. make sure you choose the right pit for i9300 16gb or i9300 32gb.
Id blame twrp. I had nothing but issues with it. Flash back to stock and start over. It's now your only option.
There is a chance you've had sds (sudden death syndrome) and the nand could be corrupt. You fix it with a pit file via odin but ONLY as a last resort. Flashing pit files is a final throw before pronouncing it's death.
The stuff i use : https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B4vTiHTBB629ZW5vQndpbjFnblk/edit
You will NOT find a pit file in there as i don't support pit flashing, because it is final. It either works or it doesn't. You will have to find one yourself if you need one.

Format /cache through recovery (philz). Mounts and Storage --> Format /Cache.

I tried flashing with Odin and Heimdall. All i get at the end is failed. Odin fails at NAND and heimdall runs till 100% for all whatever i choose. Suggest me any procedure on how to check if my internal storage is intact and can be retrieved. So that i can atleast sleep peacefully.

Tried flashing PIT and was unsuccessful. Not sure if the data partition is intact and if so how to know its presence and the status of it.
Anyone solve this problem? I'm using N7100 and get this problem too
Tried to flash PIT with new odin version always noti "failed",
with 3.0.7, 3.0.9, odin freeze at "Get PIT for mapping..", I waited more than 30 minutes but nothing happen,
Tried to flash stock ROM but failed at "NAND Write Start!!"
Someone please help me fix this problem.
Are you using the original Samsung USB cable? Tried other USB cables and USB 2.0 ports?
oh, hi audit13,
Of course I used original Samsung USB cable, I changed some other cables, and USB ports(2.0, 3.0) to test, but nothing new.
I think no one can fix this problem, bring to cell store is the best choice
When flashing with Odin, which is the file that fails to flash? Maybe post the Odin log?

There shoot.bin file is not flashing because the memory is damaged, the ROM is not for the phone, the bootloader in the phone is newer than bootloader in the rom, or you need a different USB cable.

"the bootloader in the phone is newer than bootloader in the rom"
Sorry, but how to know bootloader in the phone is newer than bootloader in the rom?
I flashed Roms with Android ver 4.4.4, 6.0.1, 7.1.1, and don't know much about bootloader, can you help me find my bootloader ver and find the way to resolve this problem. Thanks
