Anyones prime feel slower after last update? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Anyones prime feel slower after last update? Mines has def slowed down, even getting lag on shadowgun. I never had that. But it feels super laggy now even on the home screen.

Actually, mine feels faster on .33. Now, ask me about battery life in use, and I'd say it's worse.

Yep I have to agree.Even Opera mobile seems sluggish at times & even fc's sometimes too.Switching through home screens doesn't even respond every now & then but rarely.Bring on ICS & let's never look back at anything running Honeycomb again lol.

mine seems to be slower on this last update too. I agree with getting ics out NOW!

My performance and battery seem better after update. especially touch response also. maybe people just trying to pay to close to lil things or manifesting these things. Also you have to remember, alot of times the most recent apps you download could be causing issues or excessive battery drain. look what you have rubbing in the background. kill it if its something not needed. Most of the time its something in background running that you don't realize and its using up unneccessary resources or battery.

regardless of whether mine seems faster or yours slower, We Need ICS asap. that's when the real fun begins. Prime was made for ICS. Not HC which was slapped on at the last minute. only a few more days to go.

ICS Updated. Now diagonal flickering screen

Just updated my Prime to ICS, and everything was jaw-dropping. Great improvements. But then i get a diagonal flickering on the screen every once and a while. Anyone else experiencing this?
I am too. it' a little more than once in a while for me. it's more like 3-4 times a minute! Annoying to say the least!
nothing here guys LOL

No dice. Same thing happens. Looks like it's intermittent too, like it'll boot okay then flicker. Then occasionally it'll show other nonsense in the framebuffer too.
Wow! Am I glad I haven't got the update yet. Sorry to hear about it guys.

Wow, I had it much worse than that, I had a thousand color lines across my screen and could only see a sliver of the home screen. Reboot corrects it, hopefully it is just a one-off thing since I haven't rebooted since the install.

Well it's more than likely software related since it wasn't happening before. Did you have asp locker enabled by chance? Wonder what the common denominator is.
Sorry I made a thread about this before I saw this one. I'm getting it to, even after a factory reset and reboots.

Literally took it outta the box like an hour before. Essentially stock. I hadn't even opened the browser.
I'm hoping it's software and isn't a case of the update frying the GPU somehow...

Same issue here after ICS upgrade. Never got that before...
Bump, is no one else experiencing this?
I just upgraded to ICS. The flickering lines as previously pictured are also happening to me. Super annoying.
wow, things just keep getting better and better for the TF201
Oh wow!!
This is just ridiculous!!! I was considering giving the OG ATP another chance if I could find a unit free of defetcs. But between this problem with ICS/OG ATP and the better value 250.00USD 7" ATP, I think I'll pass.
These problems are gonna kill the ATP's resale value, and to me that is most important in the world of evolving tablets.
I shut my down and left it charging over night. I've been using if for like 15 mins so far this morning and it seems fine now. I hope it stays this way...

Blown out colors following 9.4.2.11 update

I do wish ASUS would get the colors right... Following 9.4.2.11, my colors are very blown out when in Balanced or Performance modes. Oddly enough, they seem richer now in Battery Saver mode. When I say "blown out," I mean that they're way over saturated and significant detail is lost. It's particularly noticeable in complex wallpaper.
Anybody else?
Update: okay, shut down and rebooted, and now colors act like they did prior to the .33 update. Switching to Power Saver mode reduces color quality, and put it into Balanced or Normal and it improves colors again. It goes through a few steps, but eventually settles on what seem to be very good colors overall.

Nope haven't noticed any difference in colors or details. Still looks great.
makes me think though vvvvvvv

Okay, I'll update the original post. I shut down and restarted, and now color performance is where it was prior to the .33 update.
Weird.

damn.. that sucks. my new one is arriving tomorrow. i hope the colors are better
As an update, I compared my Prime's screen to my original Transformer's. Colors on the Prime in Balanced/Performance modes are better--seem more natural (the Transformer is colder), and richer. I'm talking here about things like very complex and colorful wallpaper and such. UI color does seem a little better as well than with the previous ICS build, but I'm going from memory on that one.
That was definitely a nice little glitch right after the update where colors were messed up. The reboot fixed it, however. I'll add that there's definitely a lot of switching going on that causes an occasional flicker. Doesn't bother me too much, but I do look forward to ASUS and Nvidia getting this Tegra 3 display power stuff worked out.

anker 3500mah battery Review impressive

Hello,
Few days before i got an anker 3500mah battery. I found it very impressive. just to see where it stands i just run antutu benchmark. it was started from 100% full charge to 15%.
it was running all the night.
just to check the accuracy, i tried it for another night. result was almost same.
It was quite good. cpu usage 100%, brightness full, wifi on, bluetooth on.
and I got 765 score. which was on second place after motorola zoom.
just see image.

Its just a brand new battery, hrd that after some recharge cycle it will enhance more.
may be after switching off wifi and bluetooth,we can get better score.
I need backup, as i travel a lot. This one, i found to be nice, good cheap replacement. although it makes phone bit bulky, but doesnt matter. back cover is good enough.
Ok..how about some real results like what the stock battery stats says? The graph will look like this

I got this from ebay in 19$, sure I will just try to get that stat. Till yet I have not tested it thoroughly, as my number is not yet ported. But in a day it will, I will full charge it, use it as heavily and let you know an legit review, worth a buying or not.

does this battery lose its power after some time?
does this battery work as a real 3500mah battery?
Would you mind getting Battery Monitor Widget (free) and running a Calibration and report your result? the method/instruction are posted in this thread

If your not using your screen much which clearly your not then it is going to be something other than screen at the top, learn how percentages work.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Actually it IS a known issue and there are a few threads on it already.
How is this an issue? Like Lennyuk said, if you don't use your phone that much, then obviously standby would be the nr. 1. power drain.
Actually, both arguments could be correct...
Unless the stock software is extremely efficient, and makes the screen somehow super efficient, then it would be normal for standby to be that high. Another point to note, is are you complaining about battery life? or just the fact that a number on some statistics is high and you don't like it?
The counter argument to that is, if you look at mine on CM9, cell standby is a lot lower. Make of that what you want.

What's everyone's battery life like?

Well I've had this for just about 2 months now so I believe the battery is well broken in. With a smaller battery as far as tablets go I was wondering what everyone is getting as for daily use? Please post screenshots and screen on times along with any mods or apps you are running to increase it. Here are mine for today.

Alright I'll join in I'm quite happy with the battery life. Sure, my old iPad 2 had a bit better battery life but this is still very good and definitely enough for a tablet in my opinion. And considering how light and thin this tablet is compared to the iPad, I'd say it's a pretty good trade-off.
Brightness was set to auto and I don't think I had stamina mode on as I normally don't. I do usually turn wifi off manually when I leave the tablet for a longer period of time though. No mods or anything like thatä

Not sure what actual battery life is like yet as I've only had the XTZ for 2.5 days. I had it off the charger and never used it for over 11 hours and only had 4% battery drain. This is the LTE version with Stamina mode enabled.
