Razr Maxx announces at CES - Motorola Droid RAZR

It says that same with original razr just come with longer battery life.
This is just absolutely sucking way of making your customers feel so stupid that I thought the razr in my hand is inferior model
Com'on, seriously? ?? Why android users have to feel stupid 2 months after they purchased their phone???
Why apple users feel great and thinks that they bought a great phone that will at least last for a year in terms of price?
Rants won't help and I am a big android believer
And manufactures can you switch your marketing plan to make your customers feels great and proud after their purchase, not feel like a dumb ass and cheated by boot loader bs? ??

Agreed, this is my first and last Motorola purchase.

So what? Who cares? Its just a Razr with a bigger battery. Why should that make you feel any different about your phone. If you loved your phone yesterday, why wouldn't you still love it today?

Pretty much.

I'm pretty sure the Maxx has a 720p screen and a 13 MP camera also.

Don't cry over a phone that isn't even out yet.
It's a new year, and guess what? New phones are coming out that will have new technology that is harder, better, faster, stronger... Get over it.
A phone that comes out in 2012 that is better than the Razr is also going to better than the iPhone. Marketing is meant to push the public to purchase. If it makes you feel bad you don't have as big of a smile as the actors in the commercials, flip to another station.
I love my Razr with a huge smile, and will keep loving it until I finally upgrade.

It's thicker...8.9mm vs 7.1mm. I like the RAZR for how thin it is and don't have a problem with battery life. No 720p HD screen or 13MP camera. No thanks.

totally agree..a less slim Razr is not a Razr!

Personally, I'm stoked with the battery life of my razr. It seems to last much longer than I was expecting... easily 12 hours pretty heavy use on 3g. Not too sure what the fuss is all about?

Lol. That i felt when i had the vibrant...then 5 months later vibrant 4g. The reason i felt cheated at the time because of the gps fix. Front facing camera and hspa+ data. With the razr...i dont feel that resentment. I totally love this thing and now that i have countless data. It makes it all worth better. Hell the new xoom is coming out too. But i love my xoom still and think its much a better product than the xyboard.

I ended up going with the iPhone for this very reason.
I like my phone to keep its high Craigslist value for at least a year... but with Android your phone is old news after 2 months and price drops like crazy so you feel like an idiot for being an early adopter.
Of course you'll have those that try to convince themselves saying "I'm not mad. Nope. Nope. Nope.", but happiness is a relative thing for me. If they come out with a Droid Razr for $600 contract free and then next month they come out with an even better one that drops the resale value of mine by $200 a mere month later then I'm going to be pissed off
Only other phone I might consider would be the Nexus due to being guaranteed the top spot of its kind for a year...

I must admit that I am not a holy man. I have my small sinner thought that I wish my 299.99USD plus 2yr contract Razr can holds stable retail value as a 'status' and a kind of recognition to its own greatness. However,it won't be long before it is put in dust with other free phones, even after only a few month of its launch.
How about add more features to a phone, make it more well programmed and prepared and take a year to have a great new release??? Not to add a bit more battery power and call it a new release? Folks, use some common sense.
When you buy a car you know new car will drop 20% resale value the moment you turn ignition on but you still buy it, I got it. That is for the happiness of owning a new car.
But what if a fancy new car, dropping its value buy 20% every 2month ???

I'm pretty sure it doesn't That'll be the RAZR 2, available in February, with the RAZR 3 hot the heels in May
The RAZR MAXX is 8.9mm thick vs the RAZR's 7.1mm. The battery however is a whopping 3300mAH, vs the 1800 in the original RAZR.
For you LTE guys in the states, it's probably the phone they should have released first, for the GSM owners, I'm not sure there is much attraction - the MAXX is going to weigh a bit more than the RAZR and one of the attractions for me is how easily I can slip it into my jeans or jacket pocket without looking like I have a prosthetic implant!

Love my Razr as it is. And as much as I didn't want to go for a new contract with SFR here in France, selling me phone for 19€ is pretty much unbeatable so I caved.

Motorola just launched the Dinara this morning, but because it was shrouded as a China-only handset, no one really noticed. Well the dual-core, 720p, 13-megapixel XT928 is indeed coming to the US, we've learned, as the MB886 (and internationally as the XT885/XT920); like the MB860 Atrix and MB865 Atrix 2, Dinara is expected to land on AT&T, although possibly not as an exclusive.
This is the second time in recent memory that the company has quietly revealed the international version of a handset before launching the American variant: we saw the Droid 3 spoiled by the Milestone 3 only a few months back. However, with the RAZR having only recently begun shipping -- itself upstaging the Bionic -- it seems unlikely that Dinara will be announced in the US until at least CES.
Full specs on China's Dinara can be found in the press release, linked below. Although the XT928 is a 3G device, expect Dinara to be loaded with LTE radios by the time it arrives stateside (regardless of carrier).

Thanks. But I don't see anything really eye catching. meh
Feels like I just got butthurt
I'm disappointed only because they could have put the 13MP camera in the RAZR, it isn't bigger. The RAZR would have costed like 80€ more than now, but well, it could have been a real highend superior device.
And it isn't a chipset limitation: OMAP4430 supports it FULLY.
I'm bored of this. As soon as replacements for Dinara will be out, I'll buy its replacement 13MP camera, mount it in the RAZR and port its driver, other than write a guide on how to mount that $%£$%£ camera in it.
And obviously I hope its pinout will be compatible/adaptable on our RAZR.

I feel like im troll posting, but this is the kinda thing that pulls me towards the Nexus line of phones. The atrix lasted 4 months before it was bested on the same carrier, droid 4 is coming out soon and the bionic came out 2 months ago. HTC does the same thing. Diarrhea of phone productions.
I dont care if they put 33mp camera inside it unless the sensor is great. I would prefer my Zn5's 5mp kodak sensor over anything.

This.
If the Dinara is, like is rumored, an LCD screen and a sub-par camera (if the sensor sucks, 13MP might actually be a downgrade since it will make for noisy shots), I would consider it a downgrade from the RAZR. Also, Verizon > AT&T (in my area, and most others; YMMV).
Nothing to see, here. The RAZR will be outclassed soon enough, but not by this.

So? Just because a new Nexus comes only once a year doesn't mean that they're not outdated quickly. The Nexus S came out right before the emergence of dual-core headsets and was literally outdated within weeks and even the Galaxy Nexus will be replaced soon enough; quad-core devices are literally only months away at this point.
Options are the beauty of this platform.
Want incremental, yearly updates? Go get an iPhone, simple as that.

only kodak there is function for image enhancement, nothing more...
but, I surely would love sensor from XT720 + xenon flash on some new moto phone

That's your opinion. I've used both phones and Zn5 is hands down winner against the XT720 when it comes to image quality. XT720 was also good but it wasn't near nowhere to zn5 !
Honestly, that looks like a RAZR had sex with a Droid X. I appreciate the camera and the screen, but their design is moving backwards now..
And Moto is trying desperately to stay on top, just like everyone else. Android is a quickly-evolving platform, there's always something new around the corner to jam into a device. And when potential buyers are looking for a phone, they always want the newest technology. While it might seem like a bad decision to keep throwing phones out every other week that make yours look like crap, in order to hold their own, they kindof have to. That's why you don't see them cranking out seven tablets every week, tablets are more like "okay well as long as we have the newest processor and a decent GPU we're pretty well off let's check back in 4 months"

maybe I have some old firmware on ZN5, but that's for some another thread..
ICS might actually improve the picture quality. There may be mods as well that make things better. You gotta think what's more important, the phone as a whole or the camera.

Mmm HTC hasn't been TOO bad about pushing out devices, and even then the specs are either equal, lesser, or slightly better. Moto just seems to be pushing devices out left and right. It is pretty disappointing to drop $300 + on a device and then a few weeks later you see something with higher specs come out. The HD screen vs qHD does make a fairly decent difference from what I've noticed so far. Tbh the upcoming Nexus phone isn't anything revolutionary or spectacular except for ICS. Android phones are just coming out too fast and hopefully it slows down a bit.
damn, i can't wait for this phone! looks like a mean upgrade from my current one.

Granted, the writer is using an unlocked version of the Galaxy Nexus, so there aren't the network issues we've all come to know & hate, he basically says the phone itself is lacking, and ICS is GREAT! Can't wait til our "premium" phone gets it!

The only real low points on the hardware was the camera, and the build quality. The camera on the RAZR is nothing to write home about.. and I've never had an issue with Samsung build quality before...it's just uses a lot of plastic.
To me the more plastic, the less quality. It's a direct relationship as far as quality 'feel' goes.
My last 2 phones were Samsung and I actually liked the plastic. It makes it light and nearly indestructible. Don't hate on a phone unless you've used it for at least a few months. And I'm tired of people saying the GN has a crappy camera because it's 5 MP. Unless you plan on making that photo a 10 foot by 10 foot you won't notice the difference. 32GB is plenty of space and I use WAY less because all my music is on Google Music (10k songs).
All I'm saying is that you'd think Google & Samsung could have put a lot more effort into the physical build of the phone. I'm sure the camera's ok, and the sensor is what's important, but 5mpx to 8mpx really does make a difference (I know because my fiancée and some family & friends constantly say they wished their phones took pics like mine did (EVO 4G, Photon and now the RAZR).
32G IS a lot of space, but the fact is that today's user expects expandable memory, and it wouldn't have been hard to include. Hell, the OG SGT has a micro sd slot, why not a brand new device?
Lastly, plastic is just plain cheap, and really makes a phone feel like something my 10mo old daughter plays with. If you use cheap materials you shouldn't charge "premium" prices.
I haven't touched or used the phone, so my opinion is based on what I've read, but I HAVE fondled my RAZR regularly (it begs for it) and in my experience, it's more top notch. I have a feeling there will be a lot of exchanges from SGN to RAZR. Just my opinion...

I would never say one camera is better than another based off megapixels...it's a meaningless bullet point spec. That said...it looks like it may simply not be that great of a camera based off the OTHER more important specs. Looks like it's the same module as seen in the Galaxy/Nexus S...which was "okay" but not nearly on the same level as the SGS II, or the newer iphones.
I would like some help,
Is the phone heat going up to 120F/49C some thing this phone can take or Is that bad.
P.S My S2 never has gone to more than 113F.

Actual space is 27.3g free, of which apps and data share this same space. As far as tunes in the cloud, MUCH better on battery life to play local on device. Not to mention if in area with weak or no coverage.
as far as camera is concerned on our devices, the sensor is fine, the problem I think has to do with the software and compression.

I think once the razr gets ICS (and stable dev support) It will give the Galaxy Nexus a strong run for the money. Kinda like how the Nexus S came out after the Galaxy S1 and the S1 was still better.
Actually I once thought that I'll get a Galaxy Nexus, but as soon as I knew that there's no 32GB version available here, I just go for the razr...

Well.. The Nexus has a higher res and probably better screen. It has a removable battery (important to me in an LTE device). It also has NFC, which could be fun with new tablets.
Not to mention it has a slightly better SoC, the 4460 vs the 4430. The 4460 has a slightly faster GPU in it...but more than likely that will help just close the gap in the resolution difference.
I don't really see how the RAZR will give it a "run for its money" for guys like us the Nexus is simply the better phone. No frickin bootlocker preventing the community from fixing the issues Moto decides to ignore months on end.
EDIT: BTW, I own a Razr...I'm not jsut trolling. It's a good phone, I just think the Nexus is a clear choice if you have an option.
It's in all of the stores now, but they can't sell it. They are having a lot of over-heating phones some to the point ware they melt there backs off!
Any way they are now waiting on a "fix" and may miss there by the end of the year statement.

I'm feeling the same way. I love the feel of the phone but there are teo major faults that have me thinking I should return it.
The battery is dire. It's nearly out of charge and it is only six hours since it was at 100%.
The wifi reception is beyond bad. I can see six or seven networks with my three year old HTC Hero whereas I only just manage to connect to my own network.
It's a simply beautiful phone but I need it to last a full day and be able to switch to different networks as I move around.

Hi
I do agree, wi-fi is a little bit weaker on this one as on my desire before, but could connect to all my networks. Real test will happen on monday for wi-fi at the airport, as this was weak on desire also.
Regarding battery life, I really cannot complain, played with the phone on wi-fi for hours ( browsing). From my point of view the battery life is ok.

For those of us who want a solidly built, robust and quality device the RAZR stomps all over the Nexus from the inside out. I agree that the specs of the Nexus come out ahead and yes it certainly is the more "playful" device for us but that doesn't really matter when it's built like a Samsung. No offence to Samsung but this Moto feels like quality and is quality and sometimes having a stronger foundation is more beneficial in the long run.
Who else goes through the trouble of EMI protection like Moto.

Dude, research before you said that more EMI shields is a better thing. The reason they need that many is because they had to put every chip on the same side of the PCB. With chips on different side they can use the PCB ground plane as EMI shield so you would see less.

Is the Rezound any good?

Been reading a little adout the Rezound and am going to trade out my iPhone for one. Am I making a mistake? I'm an android junky and the story is to long as to why I have an iPhone so now that I can switch back is the Rezound the right choice.

I love the rezound it is an awesome phone. If you like androids you will love it. My wife just switched to a rezound from an iphone 4 and she loves it. I upgraded from an evo 3d and it is a way better phone.
I've been with android since the very beginning with the G1 and the REZOUND is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. Not only is it the most powerful phone currently on the market it but it has great battery life that can easily get me through a full day of medium usage. The phone is even better now that HTC has unlocked the bootloader and a ton of ROMS have been released by developers. Plus, an early ICS build has been released which could lead to a stable ICS release in the coming weeks so overall I couldn't be any happier with this phone!
Yes, best there is right now. I switched from android to the iphone and now "I'm back in the saddle again."
Thanks for the feed back. I'm still researching this phone but I am stoked about getting an Android phone again. I was a luanch customer on the EVO 4G and then switched to Verizon on the Thunderbolt. I got a fancey stereo for my car and of course it was iPhone ready so to get all the goodies my new stereo would do I switch to an IPhone. I have decided the iPhone is just not worth having for my car stereo so back to Android I go.
I have a Nook Color and a HP Touchpro (running android of course) so yea...Im and Android junky and a flashaholic!!!

don't hesitate if you don't have to, it's the best phone on VZW right now, imho
No, you're not making a mistake. Yes, the Rezound is the right choice!
The screen is gorgeous. There's a bit of an issue with color/tint in taking pics but the clarity and sharpness is amazing. Text is clear and crisp.
The dev section is going crazy since HTC unlocked it and now there's an ICS leak that people are working on.
Personally I like Sense a lot but there are ROMs without it available.
4g.
16gb internal and 16gb external removable sd card which can be upgraded to a 64gb card and confirmed working. That's an 80gb phone!
Wirefly currently has this phone at $99.99 for new contract or additional line.
I love it. If you like Android I'm sure you will too.
from the OG droid to a dx to the rezound it is by FAR the best phone I've owned. I've also had a chance to use/test drive a gnex and razr and i can honestly say that i don't have ONE bit of regret getting the rezound over those two. In after thought it was really a no brainer actually.

I asked this same question when I got rid of my DX2. I have never been happier with a phone ever. I love this thing more than I loved my OG Droid, and I nearly cried when I got rid of that. This phone is beyond amazing, and with all the new work on ICS that's coming up, you're jumping in at the perfect time.
another positive review
I too came from a x2, and was also an OG early adopter.
This phone kicks ass! The screen is unbelievable, the dev possibilities are endless, the beats makes a BIG difference on the audio! I was just getting into modding my x2...and once I (finally) learn my way around this one, the sky's the limit!
RUN , don't walk, to Verizon and sign on the dotted line! Lol
If price is an object, then yes, the Rezound is great for the price.
If price is not of concern, I don't see why you would not go with the Galaxy Nexus.
I don't think the Rezound is bad, but turning down consistent updating from Google, more after market customization and less difficulty rooting or doing any custom ROM, the galaxy nexus is Verizon's Best Phone, bar none.
That being said, go with what you like the best. Try them out, and go with what you like the most.

Sorry I didn't mention this is the OP but I will be trading my iPhone 4 for the Rezound. You guys have made this an easy decsion and I can't wait until I meet the trader in the morning at the Verizon store to make this happen. We are set up to meet at 11:00 am here in Phoenix so I will report back tomorrow!!!

Because the galaxy nexus has the worst antenna issues I have ever experienced. Screen is pentile amoled that gives it a nasty blue tint. People have been reporting burn in on the screen. Need I go on?

It's a great phone with a few quirks:
Many are plagued with overheating issues, my first one was but my second works fine.
The design of the screen allows the LEDs to shine up from the bottom and annoys some but I don't notice it often unless I'm watching video in the dark. This can be solved by installing screen filter and turning off the LEDs.
Stock battery sucks if you're a heavy user and on stock ROM or kernel. Development is just getting going and it's getting better.
Color balance of camera is off, most of the time you need to keep it on incandescent to get accurate pictures.
All the above are quirks and you can get over however the main problem is the audio hissing/whining/feedback when headphones are plugged in. Ironic that a beats phone has music issues lol.
Speaking of beats its a gimmick and I find equalizer (the app) does a much better job for a variety of music.
Pros are the following:
Amazing screen and full HD videos on it look amazing. High ppi ftw! Plus it is a full rgb display and not pentile like the razr.
Sense integration, love it or hate it. I don't love it but I really like it and because the hardware is so good it isn't laggy at all and love the contact and widgets.
While not the thinnest phone it feels really great in the hand. Ergonomically speaking much nicer to hold and pocket than the razr for comparison.
ISC should be coming soon as rezound is part of first release update. I think sometime in February.
Lock screen shortcuts (because of sense 3.5) are really handy
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Stop the lies in here about the Nexus......the Rezound is a nice phone.....that's it. It is NOT a superior device. Its the same old phone HTC has been selling for years with a dual core and over packed PPI. The most bloated UI of any phone and I read a earlier post about the "most powerful handset on the market"..????....seriously? Where are these specs at? This is terribly misleading information that is OPINION. This is one of many DECENT phones on the market.

Galaxy Nexus for just $50

I have an X2 that I have modded who knows how many times. Aside from the annoying locked boot loader I have really liked the X2. However I now have the opportunity to get a Galaxy Nexus for only $50 ($100 - company $50 discount). I only hesitate because I think the X2 is about a big a phone as I want & the Nexus is a bit bigger (length x width). I know its a much better phone, but once i start where will it stop? A 7in. Tab in my pocket & a Bluetooth headset? I'd like to have a phone the same size as an X2 , 4.3" (maybe bigger screen as long as the phone itself isn't bigger(width x height x thickness)with perhaps higher resolution,720x1280?, of course a faster CPU & RAM would be nice too. The 32mb on the Nexus has plenty of space. The rezound was a good size, but too thick. So what do you all think?$50 for a better but not really desired since its a bigger phone or wait untill something the size of the X2 with much better specs & not Motorola comes along?

if you want a good dev community, GET A GNEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the dx2 is good but the gnex is super sweet. the rezound is also a good choice (what i have) one of our devs cracked the RIL so we will have a full AOSP rom soon
Uh yeah.. For $50 I wouldn't be thinking twice about asking. It doesn't sound like you will have to give up the dx2, so you would still be able to go back to it if you wanted to.
Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
Even tho the nexus is larger, it feels smaller to me
Thinner
Lighter
fits well in the hand.
Go to a vzw store or find someone who has it and hold it for a bit.
Then also think about what it would be like to have 4.04 at the very least and you could load 4.1.1 if you want and enjoy buttery goodness and also, the screen, my god is the screen beautiful...so much clearer than x2. Amoled FTMFW

I wish they'd make bigger phones again. Make the X2 TWICE the thickness and give me a freakin battery that lasts a couple days, now THAT would be freakin awesome! to actually have a phone with sharp edges you can actually hold on to! I hate how all these phones feel the need to be stupid skinny.
I miss my big-ass analog phone that I could actually hold against my ear with my shoulder, and the ONLY thing it could do was send and receive phone calls... but it did that with MUCH better audio quality... so what if it was eight POUNDS, I could hammer freakin nails in with it and not break it. I thought the gnex was an awesome idea until I felt one in my hand. it just feels like cheap chinese garbage that will slide right out of my dry calloused hands every time I use it.
I want a phone that will break what I throw it at and not the other way around!
I'd def get the GNEX, support for the DX2 is such a small community.
For sure get the nexus! If you don't like it you can always switch back to your old phone with just a transfer of the numbers by your cell provider right? That way you can see which one you like best, play around with both ya know?

Considering Upgrading...

AT&T has two phones (maybe three) I am interested in. One of them is the Optimus G.
In reviews on Cnet it mentioned the not-so-great camera and short battery life.
My Infuse 4G doesn't last more than 7 hours of mostly audio playback (30-35%) when it was new. I am going to keep this phone now that its unlocked (got the code from AT&T) and my friend is using my original G1, which is also unlocked.
Has the battery life improved with any updates and if not what is your preferred battery app?
Also has the camera improved with updates or is there a rom with improvements?
I do plan on doing some video and having another HD camera will give me lots of options.
I wanted a Note, but I can't afford to pay more than $100 for a phone and have it threaten my other activities.
Thanks

Battery life is great with jelly bean, easily lasts me 12-16hrs on a full charge, camera is great too.

Thanks, great looking pictures! Yeah sometimes reviews are early in the development cycle and the phones don't meet expectations.
I wonder if I can get the G for $49, I read that's for new customers only though.

What other phone are you considering?
I'm sure you can, hell I got my note 2 back in early March for 199 and they had the og for 49 then.
So you should have no issues, check amazon wireless, best buy and others, you might be able to get it for less then 50,
About reviews, also remember these phones launched with ics, which is also why I didn't get it from att and opted for the note 2, ics at launch was a big let down ab one of the reasons people have a sour opinion about LG, i did as well, along with there failure to update devices and support then I almost passed on this optimus g, but paid 160 on Craigslist for it and couldn't pass it up, especially once I found out the jelly bean update was available
When it launched I was with sprint ab played with it in store ab thought, wow this is a really fast device

The best camera I've ever owned was the s3, the lg takes some great pictures but it takes some horrible pictures also. The s2 had a great camera also. Im assuming the s4 has a better one. The battery life on the phone is great...... But for how long. Maybe after a year of use it will get ruined and you won't be able to replace it. The S4 would be my pick since it looks like you keep your phones for a while. I got this phone because i replace my phones every 6 months .... Great phone but not sure it will last you 2 year with great battery

I'd pass on the s4, besides he says he can't spend more than 100 on a phone, so that removes it from the availability list.
Hearing lots of issues with the s4 ,over heating, sluggishness, etc.
I'd wait until the kinks were worked out.
And trust me after handling the Optimus g, my note 2 feels cheap, it creeks, the plastic is cheap, the Optimus g is very well made and solid.

Lgog is awesome. Only things I do not like are it's not durable, and the camera takes garbage photos in low light. It's fine in direct sunlight, not so much anywhere else.

Thanks foe the input. Radio Shack has the G for $49, I will handle the phone and see how it feels. The other phones are.
Atrix for use with the laptop dock when I travel and don't need the power of my quad core laptop.
Nokia Lumia 920 or HTC Windows 8x
Main reason for the Windows phones is for the Home Server app. I would love to be able to access the files and upload to my server, I use Windows Home Server 2011.
I like the G because its a powerful phone and the screen is bigger. I don't mind reading on my Infuse and I like the Note(s) because they are a nice compromise over a tablet.
The G is not on the bleeding edge and somewhat disappointing reviews have lead to discount pricing. I got the Infuse for $60 @ Best Buy in mid 2010.
I keep the hardware because it can still be used and its more functional a regular point-n-shoot camera. I plan on goinh lots of video and selling my unused stuff on CL, Ebay and Amazon with the apps available.
I am keeping the price down because I like to travel and don't wanna work any harder than I do. No need to be on the bleeding edge for most things.
Thanks

I have dropped my Infuse only once and it chipped top left edge of the case.
Screen has not one scratch on it.
I tend not to drop my electronics, so durability is not that much of a concern. I also take pictures in the day 98% of the time or with good indoor lighting.
Then hunt for LGOG on sale for $50 on upgrade or so.
Battery:
Seems excellent to me. I have been using it to play my stored music on average from 8-8:30AM until around 6:00 PM, taking several calls throughout the day (average 3-4) and some light internet exploring and I'll see the battery meter running around 65-70% at at the end of my day. It might go down to maybe 60-65% if I run Pandora for about an hour in between (which is usually during my lunch break when I need my dose of AC/DC-like music).
Camera:
Don't really use it much but I do believe that it has improved since I upgraded to JB. I'll need to play around with it a bit more but there is an improvement over when the phone was ICS. Unless you are a really avid photo taker (in which case you'll want a dedicated camera) it will get the job done for those candidly unexpected shots. After all, it's a phone with a camera built into it... not the other way around. My test was doing some before and after shots on my vehicle as I cleaned the paint, polished it and then waxed it up. Under ICS my still shots were somewhat blurry. With JB I can now get shots with which I can compare now. Unfortunately, I deleted these test shots so I'll have to ask you to just take my word on this.
