Use following methods
Use app2sd to move apps from phone to sd card
Link - App To SD free
Use system app remover to remove unwanted preloaded system apps
Link - System App Remover Paid
and last if you want more space at cost of no modification in framework then use ODEX that can be found in development section of Sk17i forum here on xda ...
but i do not recommend it for you as no further modification in framework is possible
Link - Odex Forum
Enjoy ...

I also recommend Link2SD.
You can read the description on how and why it is better than app2sd.
Here is a tutorial on how to use Link2SD.
Hope this helps.

[Q]Link2SD for cm6

Anyone have Link2SD working for froyo. I tried multiple variant but I does not works (unsupported filesystem) error.
Link2SD move more file than native foryo app2sd.
Link2SD cannot work with custom ROMs, it has something to do with how the SD partitions are mounted and nothing can be done, at least a simple workaround or something like that.

I'm running wolfbreak 2.2 rom and use "moveapps - move2sd" which is free in market and it works fine.

Thanks, any other moving ways other than Link2SD. I have a lot of apps in my phone.

Yeah, I know, I was bumped that I couldn't use Link2SD too,
it frees up much more space than regular Froyo apps2SD.
But I am afraid there is no other solution.

[Q] Wht to do after rooting? :P

Hello friends! I have my SXS rooted with DooMKernel (Thanx to doomlord)! Now the quest is what apps and what tweaks are available for me?
ADFREE ANDROID! <- Easily the best thing to do with Root
Titanium Backup
SetCPU (or similar)
Root Explorer
Samba Fileshare (makes sdcard partition available over wifi as a normal file share!)
SixAxis (if you have a PS3 controller)
And many more
by adfree did u mean, that I will not have ads in all programs/games :O ?? and this mean more battery life ?!

Those are truely recommended!
But maybe the most important, custom ROMs! KA Sspeed is recommended imo

Remove unneeded apps that came with the device
just setcpu and titanium backup.
and romtoolbox for all in one app.
if want to hack wifi. used droidsheep and wifikill.
you can download the Rom Toolbox light from jrummy
than you can
- kick out unused System apps
- kick out unused files from the system
- play with the CPU frequency and governors for more battery save or more power
- edit the build.prop for different things that do ore shut not do the device from bootup
- edit the autostart to controll witch apps can run automaticly and witch not
- play with the SD booster to make read/write a little bit faster
- change the bootanimation
- configure App2SD to save internal memory
- play with the memory control to set the minimum free space for the device
- backup the apps
also you can (no, you MUST, because its a realy needet app) download the busybox
than you can:
- with droidwall block internetconection for different apps for WIFI and/or for GSM7
- with Permissions Denied you can block the permissions of apps - very usefull if you like an app, but not their maybe to much rights
- you can use Mass Storage mode now (with GingerBread)
- also you can (try) to install a complett Linux on your device
you can now copy, delete, edit, create files in the System folders/partition
in short, you can do the same things now with your device as with a Admin Account an your computer - and like with the computer, if you dont handle with care, you can play around as long you need a reinstall becaus you destroy needet tings
- and, because root on Xperia means also alsways unlocked bootloaders: you can install now custom roms

No SD card in App2sd

Hello,
I installed APP2SD (Dutch free version) on my SGS3.
When i open the app it shows that the internal and external storage is the same...there is no SD card visible.
Is this normal ?
If not...what can i do ?
I flashed the phone with `Android Revolution HD 2.2.0` rom.

Hello
CM11 has a kernel that works a little differently compared to others (ICS/JB): The "virtual memory" (swap space) created by your app is stored in a file in the SD card.
The new CM11 kernel has not allowed to use files as virtual memory (it's unstable and dangerous).
If you insist and want to swap memory, creates the virtual memory space on a partition of the SD card (a little complicated), or use loop files (not recommended, unstable & dangerous).
Anyway, not sure if the program you are using will allow you to do that.
Thanks alot for the information.
