No matter what I do I get very poor and grainy/blurry photos.
Which settings do you have for various conditions to get the most out of your camera?

Most important:
1) enough light
2) smudge-free lense
Leaving most settings at automatic while applying these 2 rules, usually get me pretty decent pictures... (... For a smartphone, considering its lense and size)

Get Camera360 app, choose HDR-mode and get the most stunning photos ever ................
Superb colour on this camera and sharpness.
the beer tasted good
I love my gs2 but i have a really big gripe about the pictures from facebook. Viewing the same picture on my missus sensation it seems of much lower quality. Is there a setting i need to select to download high res pics? Both pics were downloaded using wifi so its not my carrier shrinking them down.

Let me try to answer you,
The Sensation has higher resolution (qHD) than the SGS2 (WVGA).
therefore, Facebook (or any other) pics will be more Fine on the Sensation, because they are not been maximized to fit the screens.
So, its normal.

Some of the pictures in my photo albums are showing up sideways on a 90 degree angle. This is happening in the stock Gallery and QuickPic.
The photos show up properly in ES File Explorer on my Prime and everywhere on my Windows 7 desktop.
Can't figure out why they aren't being displayed properly in those two programs.
Only thing I could think of was clearing the cache and data for the two programs in the settings and that didn't do anything.
Are you using stock camera to take the pics?

I had that same issue with my original Transformer. I will have to try and look thru some of my notes on how I fixed it. I think i had to edit them one by one on the transformer to make them rotate correctly, but im sure if I had to do that I would remember I will check and get back with ya.
As we all know, instagram isnt here yet. Ive used it before and i really enjoyed the real-time effect previews before you snap a picture. Is there any camera app for android with real-time capabilities? I dont care about the social aspects of the app, as long as it has real-time previews. Ideas?

Um? anyone?
It does not have realtime, but after you take a picture, you can compare the effect with the original by touching the picture. Camera360. At least it's worth a try.

Umm... Realtime effects, the only one I know had this capability is "Paper Camera". However its real time effects might not be the kind you're looking for... It captures with a comic, sketch or painting-like effects.. Latest update comes with video recording in the desired mode too..

Yesterday I took a video with the front camera. I recorded with the front camera for 7 minutes and it took almost 1GB of size. So, is there an app that can record videos with lower resolution but not too blurry?
