Good job! Keep WiFi running and you should get more. This phone has sick battery life.

Hell, I can go 2 days IF I shut everything down (e-mail, weather, stocks, just data period!)

Battery problem?

I am using bionix v and people are reporting 20+ hours of battery life using the battery left widget.. and when using my battety left widget (nearly fully calibrated) it tells me I have 9 hours left.. what's the deal? Is this a battery issue, and could I need a replacement. I have had battery issues with nearly all of my roms in the past. I guess it could be a conditioning issue. Please help

Something is probably running in your background. Download watch dog task manager and see wwhat is running on your backgrounnd.

It says that there is nothing wrong. What are the normal voltages of my battery, like what should they be?

I just flashed mine on Sunday and charged it overnight. I ended up getting just under 42 hours of life out of it without doing to battery recondition.

By using your phone to just look at the wallpaper.
Lol,
How is the battery life on the real froyo that was released a few weeks ago?

Not possible by someone who actually uses there phone. I never thought I was a heavy user but seeing replies like above I have to be past the definition of heavy user. With my extended battery I could get 2.5 days on a single charge.
Im also having battery drain with bionix newest rom. Nothings changed in my day-day usage. probably flash another modem or something.
I think I might switch to stock froyo if things don't get better. Or just order a new battery. Because it just drops like a rock. And im using watchdog but it doesn't really help that much. Or could someone with experience with battery drain guide me on how to stop it from happening?

Something tells me you have a bad battery if you've always had battery issues. Did you get your phone from T-Mobile? If so call them and tell them your battery is bad--they should send you a new one for free.

I flashed on saturday and started having issues with the battery on monday. On tuesday my battery drained in less than 5 HOURS! I reconditioned the battery and added juice defender @ 5 this morning. I just plugged in my charger about 20 minutes ago. Went down to 5%.

Yes I got it from t-mobile but I have not used stock long enough to see whether it was just a rom issue. I have only flashed team whiskeys roms and they seem to kill my battery. Nero v3 was the best but still wasn't great. I leave around 6:30 in the morning and maybe use the phone to get on xda, engadget, facebook, etc for about 1 hour, But my battery drops like a rock when I do this. And ever since bionix v it has only gotten worse. From that one hr of usage it drops 40 percent. Is hsdpa that big of a battery-killer? Because on wifi it seems to do a little better. Idk if this is just a network issue or what? Like right now it dropped 2 percent just from typing this up. brightness is less than half and everything is set to manually refresh. Wth?

Everything else seems to be fine. The consistency of the battery is weird..

Had terrible battery life as well with bionix v. Double checked to see if anything was running in the background and reconditioned my battery. Even then I was still getting atrocious battery life. Oh well I ended up switching back to axura which imo offers great performance and battery life. Not saying TW roms are bad (nero v3 was amazing) give Masters axura a shot if you haven't.

Does axura come with titanium backup or does it not wipe your data? I would like to keep my settings and apps if I do end up switching

My battery life isn't that great. I am going to turn off lagfix and see if there is any improvements.
I don't think lag fix had anything to do with battery that much, all it sites is change the filesystem right? And with bionix v I got over 24hrs battery

I just flashed ka5 modem which was in tw last rom. I had great battery life and reception. Ill be testing tomorrow and will post my results with stock battery.
Its either this or not use it like most with 5 days use on a single charge.

Well I think I finally conditioned correctly, and watchdog is notifying me about programs that are using lots of of cpu. So I'll see how today goes. 9:00 AM right now. Let's see how long it takes to die
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Seems to be dying much faster in standby mode
Edit: nevermind it seems to be doing well enough for the time being. Talked on the phone for 1 hour, texted, and went on xda and engadget. It is at 70%. On standby mode it ia doing loads better after reconditioning. Does losing 30% to doing stuff like that sound about right? Battery left says I have 7 hours 58 min remaining

So much spam! Your battery life seems fine to me by the way. Nearly 4 hours screen on time and still 36% battery left. Could easily get another hour or more.

Don't use any, if you have to then use tasker.
Juice defender has he most wakeups and time awake of all your apps so its definitely not helping.

You can undervolt by 100 if you want to, its up to you. Some phones can take it, some can't. I haven't seen anyone complain about not being able to yet though.
Don't bother underclocking the CPU, there's no need, just let it at stock speeds.
42 degrees is fine, that's not too hot.

JuiceDefender on Note 2

Anyone else using it? I've used it since OG Droid, and it's always the first app installed on any phone I get. It claims to be giving me 2.01x battery life, and with any other phone I believed it but I'm seeing people post 2 days no charge and I get about 1.25 days with very heavy use, unless I'm at work (12hr shifts 4 days a week). Thoughts? Some people claim it's junk, and I'm not so sure with a battery as big as ours we need it, or if there is a better alternative? I mean we already have a Battery Saving Mode...

I'm using it,I think if you configure it with the right settings it can save you a good amount of battery.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
I personally don't think it's needed on this phone because how long the battery already lasts and I like my smartphone to stay smart. But on my lg spectrum I used deep sleep battery saver, it was pretty good.
Also on a side note time up isn't as important as screen time. I could get days if I didn't use the phone, but if you are always on it 12 hours is pretty good
Sent from my SCH-I605 (AKA NOTE 2)
I think battery saving apps are obsolete now because phone's are becoming more battery efficient and batteries are becoming larger (Mah). I don't see any need for a battery saving app anymore especially with this phone. Just uninstall it and some more RAM
I use deep sleep battery pro. very easy to set up

I use to use that app with my gnex and evo 4g but, I leave 4g on and gps and still after 14 hours have 50% battery left... this phone is a ogre!!!

Thinking of getting juice defender but I have a question

For anyone who may use this program can you answer a quick question for me? Can I control what apps are allowed to use data? For example I have a game like Dice with Buddies. I can not turn off or control when it looks for updates/new games. I'd like it to only search when I open the app. Could juice defender allow me to stop that without disabling the app? Maybe stick it on a 8 hour timer or something like that? Just wondering

Thanks.
With juice defender you'll be able to control synching times and add apps to a whitelist.

imho its not needed on the one ... with powersaver its more than enough to get 18+ hours easy
Juice defender does you no favors. Use tasker and greenify to squeeze that juice.

I didn't really notice any difference with Juice Defender.
I use both Snapdragon Battery Guru and Greenify. With these 2 apps I get 20 hours most of the time with around 20% left when I get home. My CPU is underclocked slightly but my GPU is overclocked for gaming.

Good battery savers that aren't Juice Defender?

Lately I've been noticing my battery life isn't doing as it good as it used to be. Nothing troubling, but enough to make me want to look into getting a battery saver.
I've tried Juice defender but it won't ask for SU permissions for reasons unknown, therefore it doesn't work because the app log shows up tons of errors without permissions.
I have looked up on Google for other battery savors but most sites say Juice defender. What else can you guys recommend? Or maybe help me with juice defender? Thanks guys in advance!

I've used JD and it worked, but in all honesty 2x Battery by AZSoft works better than that. Get the Pro version so you can enable night mode and all of the features. I've tried GreenPower too. That one works, but I found that it disabled stuff too well and I wasn't getting notifications when I wanted to. I have 2x set up to sync every hour during the day and 2 hours at night. I'm also using CPU Tuner and Greenify. I'm not a power user, but I do use my phone and end up using about 3-4% per hour.
