[Q] Weir noise when shaking galaxy S II anyone?

Hello! I just bought a Galaxy S2 and it comes with the famous pink spot on camera, so i've decided to return and ask for a new one.... after receiving the new one... this one has the pink spot too! but i found how to solve that issue...
So, after some days with phone i found that the screen looks yellow tinted on the left side...
And yesterday i found that when you shake your phone to the front hardly... it makes a weird noise a "thick" like something is loose inside of the phone on the camera area... I've tried removing battery sim card and sd card and shaking the phone again! there is that noise...
is that normal? can some1 try it shake ur phone...
idk what to do... if ask for a new one... or send it to care center...
plz advise
Did you ever think that that sound might come from volume and power button? Try holding the buttons and shake again. Those buttons are neither screwed nor glued so a little noise is normal.
Mine also nakes a little sound but if I hold the buttons it stops. I have no problem with it.

This is a very rare scenario as most of the people(including me) dont have this problem.
If your phone is under warranty just ask for rma pointing out the problem.
if not then fix it via service center.
Have you tried shaking your phone front/rear side hardly? it sounds like something is loose inside... anyway i think im gonna ask for a rma

I have tried it, nothing as such.
Also did you try opening the battery panel and clean it with some vaccum cleaner?
I can reproduce this on my phone, but it requires special kind of move (like hammering) so I think everything is ok.
It's possible that this loose part is vibration motor (or something else used for vibration - I don't know construction details of SGS2), so it's designed to be loose in some directions

I wouldn't call it "rattling". It's just single sound during sharp front to rear move. So for me it's simple . We haven't bought rattles but phones, so let your new purchase to demonstrate the potential by using it like a phone.
I think it makes a camera. When you move backward and forward moves the camera lens and it can rattle ..

Hi same strange sound here:
i found that if you enable the camera, the sound stops.
So:
camera disabled -> tick sound shaking the phone
camera enabled -> no tick sound
So, it's obivious that it's a camera related issue, almost in my case.
My camera works well, but have the issues:
pink spot
framerate loss during low light filming (using -2 gain to sensor solves this)

[Q] Has anyone experienced low volume speaker issue on Atrix ?

After changed from a Defy to Atrix, I has experienced the low volume issue on my Atrix. When I play a movie or the ringtone rang, the volume just nearly a half in comparison with Defy. It's that normal or I have to check my phone speaker ? :crying:
I'm running TopSmart 1.3 final, a mod from CM7.

Just got my One, have two concerns

I just got my HTC One and have two issues I'm hoping you guys can help me out with:
1- Whenever you play sound, it seems the next 2 seconds following there is a popping noise that comes from the speakers as if the speaker is turning off. In a quiet environment, and with the phone relatively close to your face (how I use it when in bed), after you play sound on your phone, do you hear a popping noise from the speaker about 2 seconds after? It's EXTREMELY annoying since the speakers face you.
2- Open up your settings app (with the white background) - do you notice any faint horizontal lines faded in the background? They look almost grey, and very faint. Let me know if your phone has these on white background or if my screen is defected.
The phone seems great, but these two things are kind of bugging me, especially the popping sound. Please let me know if you're experiencing these.
Thanks.

Doesn't happen on mine. What a bummer. Take a trip to an AT&T store and get them to replace it.

Probably not normal, you should try to exchange it.
I may have noticed some kind of movement when waking up the phone on white backgrounds. But I'm not sure, my vision sucks and the "movement" goes away.

1- I heard it, very very faint, but it's definitely there. It's only going to be a real problem if the black OneĀ® comes out in less than 30 days
2- Nope didn't see that.
yes, i also hear a popping sound
I think I read something about this on the international boards. I remember reading it was a software issue and will be fixed

Great! After reading this, now I cant unhear it. It is very faint, but there.
The same thing happened on my Motorola Bionic when it upgraded from GB to ICS. I can hear "shut off" sound with my headphones. The Bionic upgraded to JB recently and the sound is gone. So, the fix for the One is a software update. Not a deal breaker for me.

I also see those grey lines in the Settings app. They aren't the dividers. They are in between them. VERY faint. I would probably have never noticed them until I read this thread =

[Q][Xperia P] Yellow turns to green+Tinny speaker sound

Hello everyone.
I bought a new Sony Xperia P phone yesterday, upgrading from my previous HTC Wildfire S. I simply love the phone however there are two things REALLY bothering me. I am getting pretty frustrated.
1. This one really bothers me. The yellows appear with a SLIGHT greenish tint at less than mid brightness. But if I set the brightness to more than mid the yellow start turning into REALLY DIRTY GREEN. It is very off putting. Like if I am using Whatsapp...All those yellow emoticons show up as an ugly shade of dirty green...I have tried searching around about this. But I still don't understand. Is this an issue with EVERY SET? If so then how can Sony not make any attempt at fixing it?! I am running ICS right now on it since the JB upgrade isn't available for me yet.
2. I was shocked to hear the speakers sound very...Low quality and tinny/muffled at times. Very disappointing. Is it SUPPOSED to sound like that? My HTC Wildfire S had much better speakers.
Any help from anyone who has experienced these problems and fixed them would be greatly appreciated.
I's "normal" in my XP is the same :/

Both the problems?
When I was searching around I found more people complaining about white showing up with a yellow tint. I don't have that problem. But just that my yellow start to turn into green with more brightness.

My screen is yellow and my speaker doesn't sound with LineageOS

Well, if someone can help me that would be great.
One week ago I bought a Moto E 2015 and I didn't notice that has a yellow shadows on the right and lefts sides of the the screen, there's a way to fix it?
Also I've installed Lineage OS 14.1 and the speaker doesn't sound (with headphones it sounds)
As I said before, if exists a way to fix both of this issues and you can help I'll be so glad.
Thanks.
(The english is not my native language, so forgive my grammatical mistakes)
If your device has yellow shadows then it may be the display's problem...... You should take it to service center (If under warranty) or a local mobile repair shop.
And for speakers..... Does the sound only working with headphones... or you can listen music by speaker too (Considering you are talking about Incoming call tone)
Yellow display is probably due to Night mode in Live Display setting. No idea about the sound problem because mine is fine.
