hey, I use xperia x10a with ThGo2 v13.0 rom.
soon I will be in NY and I want to upgrade my phone, I use a lot of game/apps and lots of music.
which is better: droid razr, razr, sgs2, galaxy nexus or someting else?
and if someone would tell me where I can buy these phones sim free (and cheep)... (gsm 850, 3g 2100)
Thanx, Itamar
SGS2 is by far the best android phone now after the note
its better then razr or galaxy nexus? why?
You may want to wait for the Razr Maxx if you are considering the original Droid Razr. Galaxy Nexus is also a great choice just for the software support from Google.

Hey guys,
So I'm on my second android phone, currently an unlocked htc g2 on at&t. I love android and I love htc. Inconveniently, I also love full qwerty keyboards, limiting my interest to certain phones. My g2 is great, minus the fact that I can't get on the att 3g network. While its not a huge deal being stuck on EDGE, it obviously limits my web browsing when I'm away from wifi and the att 3g hotspot in my house teases me. There is not an att android phone that interests me one bit, leaving me to unlock (previously used an unlocked mytouch 3g slide).
I'm wondering if there is any sort of solution to my problem.
At&t 3g compatible, qwerty keyboard android phone???
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Motorola has 2 options that are newer phones on att per phonescoop that are droid 2.1 or higher with keyboards.

There is the HTC Desire Z. It is identical to the T-Mobile G2 only a different display technology, and HTC Sense UI.
Recently us version with AT&T 3G frequencies was released. If you are goign to get one, be careful that you are getting US version(850/1900) and not euro version(900/2100)
Negri Electronics sells the US HTC Desire Z

I want to buy Galaxy S2 HD LTE version. But since it's a US variant I first compared it on GSMArena here
Code:
hxxp://www[dot]gsmarena[dot]com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4198&idPhone2=3621
and surprisingly regular S2 and HD LTE versions have exactly the same frequencies. So should I buy this one?
If you buy one don't expect much support since the phone isnt even listed on xda.
Hi! I currently have a Samsung Captivate.. and I might change it in a few months (july/june). I was looking with good eyes the Moto Razr, and (for refernece) I would like to know wich is the exact model that Rogers Canada sell.
i know it's GSM .. and I will have to Unlock it to get it here in Argentina (just as I did with my Captivate one year ago xD)
XT910 is the GSM Razr that is used here on Fido and Rogers
8GB internals and a SD slot
Tanks!!
Hi
On gsm arena, the s3 mini is better on 2g standby then atrix...

Hello Xda I have a really important question. Im thinking about buying a razr maxx for verizon. The model us different its a xt912m. But my question is, does this phone have any gsm support at all for out of the country (U.S)? Ive searched everywhere on the net for this information and cant seem to find it. Everyone either has another version of the maxx (xt910, xt912, or xt913) but very few with the "M" after the 912. and so I cant get the actual information. Its a 16gb phone with 1 gb of ram. I guess it was a limited edition. Can it be unlocked or support gsm cellular bands at all? Thanks!

If you want a gsm its the xt910, I believe. The xt912 and its variants are all CDMA.
