He can't sideload it if someone doesn't give him the apk file to sideload. Which I don't have or I'd give the OP the apk file, sorry!
Yep ... This. Why do some apps do this on Android Market?

Nope. All those site point to an install that says my device is not supported. I went ahead and installed the Google Mock GPS and it works fine. My main reason for wanting to install FakeGPS is to find out why some apps on the Market will say your device is not supported? Like to figure out why this happens

The NT isn't recognized by many apps in the market. Which is understandable because by design its supposed to be tied only to B&N's app store, not using the Android Market. You can get around this with many apps that actually do work by sideloading the apk installer. There's all sorts of info here about that.
Of course if an Android app is for version 3 or higher then it won't work on the NT even if you have the apk but most apps built for gingerbread will work.

I have both a Droid Bionic (2.3.4, 5.9.901 rooted, safestrapped) and an NT (1.4.0, rooted, CWM flashed), so its pretty easy to upload an apk via dropbox on the Bionic, pull it down on the NT, and click to install. If an app really won't work on the NT you'll find out pronto.
Fakegps and mockgps both work. But tethergps works great. Tested and confirmed from hotspot phone. Now i have a large display for nav and mp3 while driving. When is android going to have windowing and multitasking so i can display both at same time

Ive been looking for a bit torrent app that doesn't require having it on my laptop or signing up with a login. What's everyone using? So far I'm thinking of buying the bittorrent client by new freedom apps its 4.99 so what's the best.
I would download movies and tv shows maybe some mp3 files mostly over wifi and hopefully doesn't seed from other users phones just servers. Cause I don't want my phone getting seeded..... Any ideas ?

Swarm is the best BT client on Android EVER, because it actually works well, and the developer is great.
I use Torrent-fu but you could always just get LogMeIn and have full access to your server and can add and remove torrents or really anything else that way. Works great.
Apologies... after reading the OP again this solution will not work for what you are trying to accomplish.

Do any of these torrent apps support magnet links and if so can you delete the tracker from the link before you start d/ling? Or better yet can you just add the links to the app manually? cause then i can delete the tracker for sure. Man this would be awesome.
I keep getting "error: null" on my torrents in swarm. never more than "downloading from 0 of 0 peers". Any help?

What do you mean by that? I think this version works even better on tablets honestly. If you are basing off the screenshot, that is taken on a phone obviously.
For example the view you have on "my apps". I used to get two tabs, one with the list of the apps installed and the other one beside with the information about the app. It was more like tablet feeling I think.
And btw I'm using it on my TouchPad and is way slower. It takes a bunch of seconds when I have to go back to the app search.
Think I'll go back to the version that came with CM7

No and no.
Even when you uninstall the newer market and freeze/remove market updater, the market will still get updated to the latest version which sadly doesn't have a "tablet view" like the older one.
Found the APK. Seems small for an app and does not install. I havent tried to push it with adb. Anyone wanna try and get this to work on the Bionic?
I'm also interested in this also. I will try a few things on my side. OP I will report back.

I doubt it will work on anything except the Razr... MAYBE the Bionic
Doesn't work on rooted bionic either, confirmed.
There is probably some other files needed other than just the apk.
probably because it needs more than just the apk to work, Ill look through my razr and see if there is anything you need
Would love to get this app on my Galaxy Nexus when I get one!
Anyone currently working to port this app still?
Honestly... i have the razr and obviously it came with smart actions.... if you are really wanting to make your phone a Smart Phone... get Tasker.... way more sophisticated and a thousand times more customizable than smart actions... although it will take a bit to get use to.... but the sky and your imagination is the limit to what you can do with tasker.... Good luck
Smart Actions likely has libraries associated with it. if not also integrated with framework
Smart Action App Bug
I use smart action app to change my wallpaper when i go home, and everytime I revert to my original wallpaper, it is degraded. Each time it gets worse. Not sure if this happens with launchers other than Go Launcher. I'll post 3 screen shots. Original Wallpaper, one after 5 smart action app changes, and one after 10 smart action app changes. File size also jumps significantly.

Im pretty sure its only going to work for US users.
Let me know if you get it working though!
I got it to work on my US 32gb Galaxy tablet 10.1. It didn't work when I installed from the internal sd card. I had to put the apk file in the (system/app) folder (which means you must be rooted) and set the permissions to match the other apk permissions in the folder.
Movies look great. Tap the movie once to get the feature to change to full screen.
Watched Step Brothers
Froze almost at the end though. Couldn't stop the audio playback after I exited.

But I had to buy the full version to customize it so I searched on google for the apk, found one, installed it... After installing I realised there was 2 new internet shortcuts on my home screen .. Now this morning, I got this notification, "Grab your iPad3", is that a virus? How do I get rid of this b.s?

I had something similar happen to me on my Thrive a while back. Turned it an app I installed piggy backed an add thing onto my device. Not sure if that is exactly what is happening to you but try out this app. It will tell you if an app uses a few specific app frameworks that may be responsible so you can remove the offending apps. Best of luck!
Which apk did you install? One similar or a cracked version of a paid app?

Yup, same with Lookout. However, you can disable the "virus checker" and just leave the phone recovery portion installed.

This is what happens when you pirate apps. XDA doesnt condone the use of pirated apps nor does it support the use of them.
