Currently, I cannot get the keyboard Spock's input to be recognized by onlive. Is it possible to use it with onlive?

Can't help you, sorry. I don't have a keyboard Spock and actually didn't know one was available. I have a keyboard Kirk, though, and its input does NOT work with OnLive. Kirk doesn't swing that way...

Some folks were asking about a joystick to use on our gTabs with games like Dungeon Defender and others games like it so I thought I would post this.
This is the low-profile version (made with plastic) that is marketed for iPads but will work on our gTabs.

I wish I would have bought that one before I bought this aluminum one as the aluminum one will dislodge once in a while and if you're not careful it will smack your screen and make you wince. But it definitely makes people do a double take when you're sitting in a Starbucks with this one.

Smart keyboard pro
Flext9
Basically swipe with better customizations and word correction
Then swiftkey x, since I like the arrow/ cursor option
I like Gingerbread Keyboard
The original and official Galaxy S keyboard that comes on the Galaxy S official stock ROM. None of the custom ROMs or the galaxy S keyboard that people ahve released suposedly being the official one are the same as the true original one.
But since that one is so hard to come by I like Swiftkey X. Got it free from Amazon. My 2nd favorite "aftermarket" keyboard would be Smart Keyboard Pro

Me too, but I noticed that the gingerbread keyboard on the market doesn't recognize the keyboard calibration. You can calibrate all you want and it just ignores it. So I went back to the stock keyboard.

We are. The thread is about the best keyboard. Most people here seem to prefer other keyboards besides stock EVO one so stop trying to bait me when you aren't complaining about anyone else who also prefers something besides the stock EVO keyboard.
SwiftKey x is really growing on me. Love having the arrow keys.

Flext9 seems cool. It didn't work on my evo 3d

Swype beta 3
I have been using SwiftKey since it was free on the amazon app store recently and its been great I highly recommend it.
I switched from swype beta 3 to SwiftKey x just recently since it was free on amazon and haven't looked back. The word recognition is way better than swype.

I've been using Smart Keyboard Pro, and I really like it.
I really like Thumb Keyboard. I had it on my Evo 4g, too.

I was browsing and came across this tablet:
http://mobile.theverge.com/2012/5/3/2995878/wikipad-3d-gaikai-cloud-gaming-announcement
It will have a quad core tegra 3 processor and ship with Android 4 and retail at a mere $250 with the gamepad. What I'm wondering is, could this be better than the prime, for like half the price? It does look quite promising and you can switch from 2d to 3d anytime, on any app.
I was set to get the transformer 300 but may this be superior?
Thoughts?

The article doesn't mention that it will be $250. But it would be pretty cool is some third party manufacturer made something like this for the transformer prime.
If you view other articles, then I'm sure the price is meant to be $250. Unless they've changed their plans...

bump as I kinda need guidance on what to do, wait for this, or get the transformer?
Sent from my R800i using XDA
if you wait for the best thing there will always be something better just around the corner.
from what i read its a smaller screen and might not even be touchscreen, i dont know i didnt spend a lot of time reading about it... basically its a cheap android tablet that supports 3d and has a custom built gamepad dock.
The prime or 300 are more like premium built tablets that support a hell of a lot more than that gamepad, bigger screen, and a full keyboard dock, however slightly more expensive.
My quesitons for you are this:
Do you need a tablet right away
Will you be using it for games, videos, music, internet, etc.
Will a keyboard dock be benifitial to you
how often will you use the gamepad
will using a bluetooth controller (like a PS3 Controller) be an acceptable alternative
Basically, weigh out each benifit and downfall of each tablet and based on your own use determine which is the best fit for you. None of us can tell you which will be the best decision for you.

Are you kidding?
It's a gamepad not a tablet. Should I buy a car or a tv ?

Icontrolpad looks pretty cheap.
Ps3 is a solid controller, wireless, and the six axis app works on all android devices and has tons of features.

Hello everyone. i wonder which type of bluetooth keyboards can we use with our beloved tf300t(g) s? does anyone have Logitech Mediaboard Ps3 keyboard ? an user noticed that it works flawless with kindle 7inch. it would be great if we could use it ?
Why not just use the original Asus ones?
Good question. In my beautiful beautiful country, asus tf kb isn't sold seperately, and i can't find a second hand one. i bought only tablet so it would be good to have a kb just for office applications, portability isn't a issue right now.
You can pick em up for cheap of eBay. Brand new selling for £70

Customs a bit tricky too. Anyway it would be great to have answers to my questions. Thanks in advance
+1 on the Asus dock. If there's anyway possible, that's your best bet. Not sure about bluetooth keyboards. I'm sure there are some posts in here about them if you look hard enough.
