Please help!!!
Two days ago my xperia x10 switched off when i was using browser and now its nt switching on!!!..When i try to switch on,it vibrates and green light blinks but the screen does not show anything..
Initially a red light was blinking so i put it on charging but now its showing a green one while charging and i checked the voltage it was above3..
I am using androind2.3.3 and it is not rooted

Install SEUS/SE PCCompanion from the official website of SE, then click on Support Zone, then repair.

new battery doesn't charge in qtek8500

Hello guys. Bought a 1050 mAh new battery designed for Qtek8500 (written on the battery). When connected to USB or a charger - no orange light, no charging. Synchronization with PC is OK, old original battery also OK. Tried Hard Reset - doesn't work, same cross on battery indicator appears.
Have everything original - WM5.0, 2Gb.
Could you please help me. Thanks in advance
I got a non-genuine battery off fleabay but it was slightly too small. Unless I wedge a bit of paper in the top it doesn't connect to the pins properly.
If it says 'designed for qtek 8500' on the battery it isn't genuine. It would say 'designed for Star100' if it were.
M.S
connection to the pins OK. On battery side it's written:
PALMEXX
Model: Qtek 8500/DPD S300
RatinG: 3.7VDC, 1050mAh
Any ideas why it doesn't work?
try this
can't remember if this works on all htc phones or just the ppc phones, but try it,
pull the battery and let set for about 10 seconds,
replace battery but do not power up the phone,
plug micro usb into phone but not into computer,
plug usb into computer and wait 10-30 seconds, (at this step you might see red/orange/green light come on)
power up device, (at this step you might see red/orange/green light come on)
if it is like other htc devices, it might begin to charge after a few seconds or a few minutes.
if not, nothing above will harm your phone so it won't hurt to try this method.
doesn't work (((

Got a multimeter? Any voltage accross the cell? Sounds duff to me. Try the method above - if the battery is completley flat sometimes it can't charge.
M.S
returned the battery to the seller. The whole batch didn't work with my device
i have the same problem. the new battery is little différent. in the left connector, they have a T in platic. te T plug in the phone but it's to little (maybe). I contact the seller and waiting...
i have the same problem with batt PALMEXX on one device, but it work on other.what it mean?

THATS STRANGE BUDDY..!!
green led
I guess you don't remember having 1.6. the led used to be red till it was about 90%+, then would turn green. most of the custom roms made it simple, green means charge.
You should be able to install baseband .52 if you follow my guide from my signature.

Actually, after charing try also reflashing firmware just in case. I hope it helps you, succes. Battery stats may be corrupted if I guess it right.
ok, i charged it for about 18 hours now and flashed the phone again but still the same, ...i turn the phone on the green light blinks up and the screen starts lighting for about 30 seconds, ..after that the phone restarts
i flashed with bin4arys x10 flasher, the generic rom
is this ok if the phone is orange austria branded? ...because seus or pc companion does not work anymore for update. donno why, x10 flasher just works fine, says everything is ok

I think you should really try SEUS. It's the best way to repair your phone if Flashtool doesn't work. It's also the easiest way. It SHOULD work, if it doesn't you're doing something really wrong.
This is what you are going to do:
You have to recharge the battery outside the phone, in that state the phone doesn't allow you to charge.
Then using flashtool you need to install branded or generic 1.6 donut you can grab one from this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872298
Im with Orange dominicana i used the firmware from
france found in the post.
Othewise SEUS will always prompt you that you have the latest software installed (Assuming that you are using the 2.1 Eclair right now).
After you have installed the 1.6 regardless if it worked or not, connect it to SEUS try to update and just wait (if SEUS doesn't want to update as you mentioned before try to uninstall it and downlad the latest version)
If that doesn't work let me know i have tried other methods that worked for me.
You can see my post i was having the same issue.
It's called Xperia X10i restarting loop.

S3 I9300 (Italy): hard brick

Dear all,
Yesterday I installed Kingroot because I wanted to retrieve some photos using Diskdigger.
This morning I look at the phone and as I always see it turned on with 100% battery. After 10 minutes I'm going to take it and find it off.
No longer responds to any key:
..not go to download mode
.. if I connect it to the battery charger, no lights will turn on
.. I changed the battery .. no
I tried with the jiig..nothing
..collected to the pc..nothing, do not see it
So I thought (dahm to me!) that that program sent me the cell phone in hard brick..but it is a known program.
I have disassembled the cell and with the Flir thermal camera I saw that the eMCC tends to heat up to 33 ° C for about 3 seconds, then turn off the "core" ... and so cyclically, with only battery inserted, why not c It's way to turn it on. So it looks like there is still life.
This "blinking" of the eMMC lets me think I'm looking for a way to load the ROM
The Exynos processor stays stable at 33 ° C steadily ... so it seems to me all right
I can try to resuscitate it somehow.
I've read that you can create an SD card with a "bootloader" on board.
How can I do?
Thanks
impossibile creare un bootloader sulla micro sd card se è partita la memoria interna non puoi fare niente solo buttarlo
