So does the AT&T Atrix 4G work on Telstra's new 4G network? I've got it running on Telstra and have rung them to ask but it seems they're only selling the HTC 4G phone and don't want BYO phone/sim going onto 4G???

hey there people,
I've had my HTC HD2 T8585 for almost a year now and have been on the Rogers Canada network ever since.
Recently, Bell Mobility setup some new towers in my location with HSPA+
Since I was stuck and Rogers (until now they only had GSM in my area) and wanted to switch to Bell which I now did.... my phone does not pick up the new network.
I know that my phone has the hardware and software to support the new network.... right?
I'm out of ideas and am open to new ones.... anyone?
This isnt the forum for this.. try the other sections.
I am on the Motorola website looking at the lapdock 100 and looking at the compatible devices. The Electricfy is $599 and the Photon 4G is $549. How is the Photon 4G cheaper than the Electrify if it is missing the 4G radio?
I would assume its because its US Cellular and they aren't as big as sprint I think?
The last phone I had from them I got from a corner store i was about 13 and I threw it a few yards and lit it on fire....so yea.....
Economy of scale. The more you produce of one thing, the cheaper the product.

Electrify does have the 4g radio just nothing to run 4g on considering uscc doesn't have 4g but I already see the band present in the phone for lte just need uscc to upgrade there towers or get a hacked sim and use vzw 4g with correct apn programming or by unlocking the sim slot for lte card

Edit: we should be getting the upgrade to 4g support with electrify with the 4.0 upgrade so I've been told
I believe the ATRIX is technically 4g but was wondering if anyone has seen 4g in the status bar ever? Im on AT&T and have seen 3g and h+ but no 4g. I know AT&T calls h+ 4g but it isn't really. I was also told that AT&T hasn't released 4g speeds yet but that was months ago. With the new ipad out that is 4g does that mean 4g speeds are available now and has anyone seen it on the ATRIX using AT&T ?

Atrix only supports HSPA+, no LTE
You won't see LTE on the Atrix as the radio isn't capable of LTE. You will only ever see 4G come up on your Atrix if you edit the appropriate system files to show this instead of H+ or 3G. As was said, Atrix is only capable of HSPA which is what AT&T called 4G before they rolled out LTE.
Will an unlocked AT&T Galaxy Mega SGH-I527 work with T-Mobile's 4G LTE or just 4G? Also, outside coverage area, will it use AT&T's 4G LTE?
Thanks!

Nice, thanks!
Another question. I just switched to MetroPCS (uses same towers as T-Mobile) when I go roaming, will it roam in AT&T's towers? Does that mean when roaming I will also have 4G LTE instead of Edge? Or does AT&T recognize the phone it's from MetroPCS and lower it to Edge? I ask because I noticed T-Mobile doing all this reframing to use same bands as AT&T could it be possible that an unlocked AT&T phone have 4G LTE while on T-Mobile's network AND while ROAMING where a T-Mobile phone wont and that would be whack... T-Mobile charge $80 a month and not have 4G LTE while roaming while MetroPCS charges $60 a month AND have 4G LTE while roaming if using an AT&T device?

Metro works perfect on my T-Mobile Note3. I get 4G LTE 30+ Mb d/l... only prob. is when I wany to switch handsets I have to call snd give the IMEI of phone. But I my first phone S4 from AT&T was also getting 30+ but I havent gone where I have no signal yet to test roaming.
Hi, I have an LG V10 that I purchased from TMOBILE. I switched to AT&T, and brought my T-Mobile device with me. Everything works fine, but I cannot get 4G LTE service at all. I have tried 2 APN settings, and that does not help. I live in a large metropolitan area, and I know that 4G is available here with AT&T. Does anybody have any idea why I can only get 4G and not 4G LTE?
Thanks!
It's possible that AT&T didn't provision your SIM to get LTE. What APN settings did you try?
