A Cm based rom for the evo3d would be awesome! I will try my hand at it even though I don't know much yet.

Been trying to port cm7 all day for the shooter and I can not get an aosp kernel to compile correctly

I know nothing about building kernels or I'd help you out...I'm good with cooking and porting, but never tried to make a kernel
So I was just wondering if any of our wonderful devs were working on a Blur-less ROM aside from the CM team? Back on the EVO there was a large selection of both Sense and Sense-less ROMs. I'm sure the same will be true eventually within the Atrix community; I'm just curious about what's happening out there.
Thanks!
doesn't gingerblur achieve that? judging by the contents of the bloatware restore .zip it seems like blur is removed from the phone.

The Debloat edition of Aura is pretty much Blurless. You may want to give it a try. It's my current daily driver.

Aura 1.1.3 # 8, pretty stable, blurless and quite fast. Give it a try, don't think you would regret.
Cheers!!!
Well, all the Sense 4 ROMs drain my battery like its nobody's business, and personally I really don't seem to like Sense anymore. I know that newtoroot came out with an AOSP rom awhile back in like February, but has anyone been working on one since? And I know people "claim" to have AOSP roms but all of them are still using sense's SystemUI, so im looking for a FULL AOSP rom. thanks to anyone who can help.

Since this is a pretty touchy subject... I'll handle it.
We do not have full functioning AOSP roms. The rezound has very difficult tech to reverse engineer. The AOSP roms that do exist all have no data, text, or call capability. Not even wifi. A few have tried to work on getting AOSP over but either stopped in the hopes that the ICS OTA stuff will help or they just dumped the rezound completely. I just hope you don't get flamed.
What hurts the rezound, was that everyone was expecting to get it and then immediately switch to ICS so the gingerbread development lacked a lot. And leaks don't really help us at all as far as ICS goes. Here we are 8 months after the debut of ICS and we are still left out in the cold.
There are a few people still trying to make AOSP happen, but for now, senseless is as close as you'll get.

I'm not gonna get flamed. But newtoroots AOSP Rom was so close to perfect, ril worked, everything ran perfectly, except for a few bugs here and there. I would love if some awesome dev out there would take that Rom, fix it up, and put it on the forums. That's my two cents. Thanks for the feedback man.

Let's not flame this guy. Let's turn this into a productive thread about AOSP even though we have scattered comments about AOSP/AOKP/CM in random threads.
Chad is working on RIL issues in his upcoming kernel. Chad is an extremely busy student so don't expect anything soon although he has gotten calls/sms/1x data working.
We really don't have an updated version of CM9 or AOKP but since we don't have data for them yet, there is no reason to make a ROM bot for them automatically compiling roms nightly.
OK now let's get productive. We have GB source. I don't understand why we don't have a CM7 rom yet. Well, I didn't understand why until I tried do compile/port one myself. I am not an expert at compiling from source especially when our device isn't officially supported but my port won't boot past the splash screen. I am thinking about putting the port up in the dev section and turning it into a community project. I have tried the Demonizing AOSP kernel and I have compiled multiple CM7 kernels from source but still no booting.
I know CM7 is GB based but it's better than nothing at least until we get ICS source.

Fix RIL would still be necessary for CM7 as it is for CM9. So given our most recent leaks/RUUs, makes since to focus on one vs. The other... Gingerbread is ooooooold

That's interesting. I always just assumed everyone was so focused on ICS/CM9 that they just never bothered with CM7. I would probably use CM7 over our current crop of ICS choices to be honest.

Yes but it would be much much easier to fix because we has source. Chad even said that 99% of the issues is just rearranging libraries in the kernel.

Alright thanks for letting me know who he was. So now, basically, Chads upcoming kernel will make all current AOSP roms a daily driver (with ril working)? Please tell me if this is incorrect. If its not then I'm actually kind of excited!

I wouldn't hold my breath. Bottom line is that there has been no updates released to the "public" in a couple of months, just word of mouth that they have it working, except for a few bugs.

If that's all you really need then use Slim or CleanRom DE. Slim especially has pretty much all of Sense stripped away either is worlds better for battery life.

So I need a stable rom cuz this is my only phone and I use it for work. I just started flashing roms. So far I've only tried Th3Bill's CNA, 2.3.5 Hybrid, and CM7. I liked all of them, but I ended up going back to Homebase for its stability and battery life. I really like CM7 for its simplicity and pure Google. What is the best stable CM7 rom and where can I find it? Links? Love to hear your opinions in other roms too. I love the support we're getting now on this phone. Thanks devs!

the most stable from my experience was a cm9 ics based rom as its most compatible with the device...most roms 4.1 based and higher have reboot issues because of a deep sleep issue caused by the default setting of the min frequency being too low under performance settings...but if you want everything to work including bluetooth and not have sense cm9 would be your best choice...4.3 based roms still have many bugs such as mms not working after first reboot and camcorder keeps force closing..4.1 and up still has a few bluetooth based bugs and your reboots...the reboots still happen on 4.3 based roms like pac until you change it to proper settings

The AOSP ROM I used for a while was PAC but it started rebooting a lot because it overheated while charging. CM9 was stable for me and CM10 is almost stable.

full asop
Even the latest version of cm9 (back in 05/28/13) has bluetooth problems. Is there really no aosp or kang that is 100% functional? Weather it be 4.0, 4.2, 4.3? Came close with Liquid Smooth but still having soft reboots.
Consider Talon v1.0, because either nobody is using it (unlikely with over 3000 views), or people are using it and brenuga just built it right and it works... and my money is on the later. Seems extremely stable, feature rich, and bug-free, it is what I am going with for my work phone.
My ROM of choice is CM10.1.3. I have zero issues with it. CM9 would be my next choice.

Although I would go CarbonRom (4.3 based) or Talon (4.2 based) for stability and performance.
