Firstly copy a rw6815 rom into MiniSD card (like installing a rom).
Put away the battery for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes insert the battery again.
Pres - and - button and the reset button with your stylus. Take the stylus back but continue to press - and - until something changes on the screen. This could be 1 or 2 minutes. After something changes you can release the - and - buttons and then new rom should start to install. After 20 minutes, you can use your rw6815.
Note: If this fails, maybe you need to install the bootloader before the new rom.
Use 68xx Bootloader 1.0.1 => HP_BL1.0.1.rar (instead of 1.0.5)
Good luck.
After a night time charge, my phone started to perform strange and I can't seem to get out of the situation.
It started with the temperature display showing on the battery when turning on. I am unable to start the phone, without it being connected to a powered on charger.Without a powered cable in, it just powers off, then goes back to the battery / temp display.
Upon starting, the phone runs fine, apart from the fact that it thinks there is something plugged into the USB port. This sometimes shows itself as the phone thinking it's still being charged to it thinking it's plugged in as a USB data connection. The USB port has been cleaned with the same outcome.
The phone can go from showing 0% charge to being flagged up as fully charged in under 10 minutes. Power the phone off and it will revert to charging as normal.
I'm unable to connect Odin to reflash as the USB port is detected as "unknown" device and I've tried this on numerous machines with the same outcome.
I'm unable to boot into recovery mode with clockworkmod, this coming up with the standard samsung boot options.
Is there a rom that I can copy over the phone, that will pass the Samsung validation check for ROM installation with the Down / power / action button combo.
I getting a bit frustrated with this at the moment, so any help advised will be great.
Cheers
Same thing happened to me, kinda, flash hyperdroid 4.0,you won't be sorry and it'l fix your. Problem.

try cleaning the usb port mate if it has dirt/dust/fluff in there it can cause big issues http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1132588 that thread may help a bit
it could also be abad battery causing issues
i would try
#reading that thread and trying the fixes
#putting phone back to stock ie factory reset or flahing a new rom and kernel
#ordering a new battery
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Cheers for all the info so far.
Things tried.
Different battery
USB port cleaned with isopropyl alcohol with both Qtip and new tooth brush.
Numerous factory resets
Battery left out for an hour for full reset
Wipes with CMW recovery with SD card in and Out
I am unable to connect to a machine, so I am unable to use Odin to reflash.
I've just ordered a Jig, so will try that as soon as it arrives.
I'll try the hyperdroid 4.0. Does that flash ok with the stock bootloader as the CWM recovery does not boot, even though the phone is rooted ok.

Well an update to my issues.
The Jig turned up today, after two inserts the usb port occasionally was detected correctly. This gave me enough time to reload the kernal.
After another Jig reset (successfull this time) I was able to connect to Odin and reflash the handset.
The battery is still reporting funny things (goes from 60% to full in 5 minutes or charges normally) so I'll be doing a few more resets / wipes and reinstallations to see if I get to a normal place.
Thanks for all your help.
I have the similar problem as yours.
From time to time the phone thinks its connected to USB.When this happenes I get a "Batery Overvoltaged" reading using Batery Spy App. And I can't connect to my PC using USB. The other thing happening is the phone is waking up as soon as I turn it off and if I try to turn it off again it freezes and u need to reset or pull the batery out. I though I solved the problem when I left the phone off without batery for 12 hours but that only worked for a day and now it started again this time it switches to driving mode on and off, and USB connection. I tried Hard reset ,reverting to a stable ROM with CWM , cleaning the port with alcohol, puting the phone without the back cover and the battery in a bowl of rice for 12hours(water damage?) , cleanng caches, battery stats, different kernels, removed the SD card.
I don't know what trigers this but it drains battery fast and I too had the batery going from 30% to zero in a flash and the fast charginng atleast once. Couple of times the phone even started by itself when inserted back the batery...
Please keep me posted with your progress, I surfed google and found this particular problem several times in other places so it happens more often than I though, but no one posted a fix, or atleast what is causeing the problem
Hey, This is my first post so hopefully i didnt pick the wrong section to write in
So here it is.. A while ago my phone started acting crazy.. voice command started up.. turned off, started up again.. MTP started ( like i was plugging in USB cable) on and off and on and off again.. This was after i had rooted my phone for the first time.. but i was on stock rom at that point when all happend..
Now when im trying to charge my phone it takes like 30-60 sec till it starts charging.. same when i unplug the phone, takes 30-60 seconds for the phone to realise that there is no cable connected to the phone..
Can't turn off the phone.. when i turn it off its black for a few seconds then the samsung logo pops up and the phone boots up again.. and some times when i turn off the phone the battery logo appears and it shows that the battery is over heated..
This is what i have tryed:
- Re flashing, alot of diffrent roms
- Factory reset
- Format System, sd card, data
- Flash back to stock rom
Thx / Wrix
I remember seeing this issue in a few threads last year. Check this thread out as it lokos to be the same issues they were having http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1174291&page=6
It seems some had to return their device and others were able to get it working again by cleaning out the micro usb port with a toothbrush. Worth trying. If nothing works, maybe you will have to return it. Hopefully not though
Thx alot.. Will take a look at the link you posted and see if there is something i can do to fix this issue.. hopefully i wont have to send it in to repair cuz i have rooted it.. dunno if samsung can see that if i use USB Jig ? hopefully not but will try with toothbrush to see if it works!
Again thx alot for the advices
EDIT: Toothbrush didnt work at all ;(
/Wrix
Just make sure you reset the counter and you should be fin returning it.
Your device should still be under warranty. I'd wipe, flash the stock ROM that you had on it when you bought it and use the jig if you have one. Then see about getting it returned. Good luck!
So, sort of long story, i'll cut it short
-Got an old X10, had stock 2.3.3
-Rooted it
-Did not unlock bootloader, got kinda scared.
-Tried to install FeraLab custom ROM, it failed probably because of sdcard permissions; i accidentally wipe /system /data /cache
-stuck at first Sony Ericsson screen
-Somehow managed to flash a 2.1 stock rom with flashtool, after an hour of different combinations of enterring flash mode and pulling the battery
-Tried to install FeraLab again, this time it went through
-After install, rebooted, phone shut down during boot up process
-Will not turn on at all. Even when plugged into a PC, wall, not plugged in, pulling battery, etc.
I think what happened is that FeraLab needed a newer baseband than the 2.1 stock rom had. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this sucker to even turn on? Not a single LED is on when plugged in, giving me the impression that it's not charging.
If the battery has drained out, it might take some time before it kicks in and indicates that it is charging.
If the ROM has failed somehow, it might not show that it is charging at all, but might be charging.
Either way: Let it charge "blindly" for a while, and see what happens.
Once it does boot up to some level or shows life-signs, let it charge fully before you'l attempt a ROM flash.
The flash/recovery mode needs a full battery, and reason is that the external power isn't used even when connected while in flash/recovery mode.
If you happen to be in bad luck, and the ROM failed as a result of a drained battery, you might have to charge the battery externally. Use an external battery charger made for 3.6 volts Lithium Polymer batteries, and make sure to align the + and - terminals properly.
I can recommend the multicharger from Powerbase, called C-734U:
http://www.powerbasehk.com/product.php?id=148
Using it myself to charge the X10 battery, as well as other batteries from other devices I have.
EDIT:
(For some reason, powerbase has taken back that it'll charge Lipo batteries, but when I bought mine, it was described as a li-ion, li-poly and Ni-MH charger, and it't ability to charge li-poly batteries was the very one reason to why I bought it.
I suspect PowerBase does not want to take responsibility if anything happens to the li-poly-batteries, as they are known to be more dangerous than other types.)
I've left it on the wall charger all night, no response or anything. Luckily, I bought a new battery a few days ago, so when that comes in, hopefully it will be charged enough for this thing to boot.
Do me a favour are u able to take screebshot of settings, about phone menu and post it here? Need to see ur baseband and kernel

Yeah, i'm not sure what he expected. But, good news! Now for some reason my phone started blinking red whenever I tried to turn it on! I guess the battery completely ran out or something. It also blinks every now and then when plugged in, so I guess it's charging. The previous owner of this phone said that it had some battery problems, so that's why I ordered that new battery. I'll let it charge for awhile and let you guys know what happens.
Okay, after getting my new battery, the phone will still not turn on. I think i've figured out two behaviors:
1. If the battery is nearly completely out of charge, it will flash a red light
2. If the battery has charge, it will not do anything at all.
Anyone know how to fix this?
While trying to turn on the phone, after long-press power button, do you get a flash from status led & short vibration?

No vibration, the red LED flashes three times, and that is , as I said before, what happens when the battery seems to not have any charge. If I have a charged battery it does absolutely nothing.
Have you removed sim & sd card and tried. I know it sounds dumb but when I flashed a bad kernel I had to try to connect flash mode like 10 times. Finally I left the phone unplugged from pc, started flashtool and started flashing. I only put battery in phone just before holding back key. I never connected USB until tool said to dis-connect phone and connect in flashmode.
i wish you luck, I know how I felt when it went wrong

Try to flash any latest kernel via flashtool . Go for doomkernel . I think its software issue . Try this first .
Almost same here please help..
Last night battery ran out of charge & phone switched off.. then i plugged the charger it doesn't charge.. after some time i tried turning on.. Vibrates with the green LED but nothing happens then..
Note: This is not the 1st time i'm letting my phone drain, but facing this problem for the 1st time..
Rom : Spikelabs GB Gaming rom
Kernel : Ferakernel v23 beta6
I tried another battery, charger, data cable.. Tried flashing stock & spikelabs kernel., but of no use..
Any help is greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance.. :good:
Something like that happened to me not long ago!
I was trying to flash some ROMs and I messed up then my phone wouldn't turn on!
But Miracously, I could flash a Stock 2.3.3 which fixed the problem!
At first, I used Sony PC Companion, which helped a lot- and after I screwed it for the second time, I used FlashTool-
I don't know if this was helpful, but I hope your x10 will be fixed soon!
yeah try the PC Companion first, it helped me too a couple of weeks ago
No luck...
Hi friends..
Tried to repair using PC companion, but was able to connect only in flash mode, unable to proceed software update..
I previously tried flashing stock GB using flashtool thrice. Still couldn't switch on the phone.. What else may i try..
Thanks friends..

Is there any way i could recover the phone???
Hi, I have Galaxy s 2 i9100. When i was looking in my facebook app and then Flipboard app the phone just shutdown in my hands. I had 60 or 70 % batery left and when i tryed to turn in on it just booted to the AOKP rom of 4.2.2 boot logo after the galaxy s2 logo and didnt wanted to boot in to the rom.I forgot my origina charger and charget the phone trought a nokia data cable from the USB 3.0 and i dont know is my batery or the software. I turned the device whaile charging it with the other USB 2.0 but my laptop running Windows 8 Pro Says Uknown device and shuts down the power to the USB and the phone just shuts even when i managed to boot it to the starting setupe screen of the oficial Samsung rom-4.1.2 after flashing it with Odin 1.85. And still doesnt work. While the device is turned off and charging it i ( i had only the nokia usb/data cable) the batery indicator says the battery is full but turning it it says its only 9% full. Ok i whaited it turnned off and charging it still saying its full for a 3-4 hours and when i turned it on it said it have 99% battery olmoust full, but it still had the problem when the usb is turned off it shutsdown... I flashed it again to the stok official rom i got the rom ( that is 2.3.4) and after that the same problem. I left the phone for a day without a battery out side the phone and tryed it with my original charger ( when i got home ) and starts the batery-loading- shutsdown- after 3 times self turning selft shutngdown it boots`s its self to the recovery menu.I tryed reboot phone---nothing, again to recovery. Ttied full wipe full chache clean ( dont have the dalvic clean or battery statts clean in the original recovery) and again nothing, again it boots to the recovery and stays there for ever. Turning off the charger of the device after cleaning everything it cannot even turn at any logo not to talk forr the rom. I need help becouse i dont know should i buy a new battery or a new motherboard for my s2 ( That is Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 16GB 1.2GHz CPU. And the rom i had was AOKP milestone 2 with Android 4.2.2 i think, very lite on apps.) Thanks in advance.
Seems like a battery problem. Soon as flipboard came on it died.? Flip uses a lot of power so that may have bin the last straw for the battery. Did you notice any problems before this happened? Go to a local phone shop and ask to test a battery.
Don`t know did i mentioned but on charger the phone boots and after 3 flashes of battery charging logo going on and off it boots to recovery and if i remove the cable ( charger or usb) the phone stays on for ever. But it must be plugged to make it go to either recovery or download , but only in download mode if i remove the cable the phone shuts down instantly.
Have no success in rooting, flashing, clearing roms and nothing, I even tried the galaxy s2 usb jig for reseting the flash counter to give it for a repair in a warranty, but still with no luck.
Hopefully wiping cache and factory reset under the factory recovery will let it boot

Does any one read the first post. i all ready did that with the 2 stok recoverys the come from official samsung s2 rom for my country with android 2.3.6 and 4.1.2
Test with new or borrowed battery and see if it stays on. Take it to a local shop and ask nicely to try one out. I'm sure they won't mind to just test. If it stays on great news. Before you go to the shop Put neatrom 4.1.2 on an ext SD and philz kernel also a cm rom +gapps and try and flash one or the other while your in the shop. If all is well and it works pay for the battery and smile if it doesn't stay on then you may want to look while you're in the shop for a new phone.
