[Q] How to increase size of "shared" photos - HTC Amaze 4G

I have my phone's (stock) camera set to save photos at 8MP, but when I share these photos with other apps (ie twitter, wordpress) only a low-res copy is shared.
Is there any way to change the default resolution of "shared" photos to something more usable?

use imgur instead

Caller photo size / quality for external screen - how to change the default setting?

Hi everyone!
I have a tiny problem which still disappoints me... I like that Windows Mobile includes photo contacts built-in support. When I take photos from the phone's camera in "photo contact" mode and assign it to a contact using camera tool itself, the size and quality of the photo is fine - seems like 128x128 pixels - and looks well on external screen. But when I try to assign some picture to a contact - either using built-in Pictures tool or Resco Photo Viewer - it comes out in very bad quality, seems much smaller for Resco's tool (64x64 pixels?) and very low quality for built-in Pictures tool. I've been crawling all over the Internet looking for a tweak that will let me modify the default size / quality setting, but failed. Does anybody know if there's a way to make Pictures or Resco Photo Viewer assign high quality 128x128 pictures to contacs? I'd like to see my wife's photo as beautiful as she is and not corrupted by some compression-driven artefacts.
Thanks in advance!
Try "Photo Contacts ver. 3.0"

Photos for contacts in 4.0.4

Hello!
I read that in 4.0.4 SGSII now supports better quality photos for contacts.
I'm busy organizing my contacts in phone and Google Contacts, and going to get to photos soon.
I would appreciate if someone told me where, in which format, resolution should I upload photos so that they would appear in the best possible quality in phone.
I mean - should I add photos directly in phone, or is it better to do it via contacts.google.com ?
JPG/PNG? 1000x1000/500x500/...? ~100KB/~250KB/~500KB per photo?
Directly, .png format, resolution as high as possible, weight of file dosen't matter.
I guess there's no sense in making photos larger than 480x480, because screen has maximum resolution of 480 px on smaller side. Anything bigger won't make any practical sense. Am I right?
Maybe, but I always choose highest available resolution.

Resolution question

I often have to take photos of documents for work, and dont need or want the large file size of full resolution photos. Is there a way to make a desktop shortcut to a lower resolution setting? Htc has it. Thx

Live focus photos: how to save both close and wide versions auto?

I see the gallery lets me switch between the close-up and wide view shots, for photos shot using live Focus. Is there a way to save both versions easily? All I see is an option called save as a new file but who wants to do that for every live Focus photo you take?
In my old phone I would have Google photos backup all my photos and then use the free up space option in Google photos to delete.
I have kids and take lots of photos and need a easy way to save both the close up and wide shots. Thanks!!
