Hello guys
I've an annoying proplem, systemui gives me a force close following boot.
This occurs after updating to newest cm 7.2 by vo-1
I've tried everything: reboot, battery pull, wipe data and dalvik cache, fresh install of rom both odex and deodex (resolved the problem but it happens after few reboots).
My ace powered by cm 7.2 by vo-1 newest update.
Please help me

Hello
why and how to solve this problem ?
I have a stock rom, and when I install one of these script => Slaid480 script or V8.5 turboboost
The SGA reboot in wifi randomly ,and when I disable the script, the SGA does not reboot.
Thx
Stock ROMs don't support all of the features in SlaidMOD and nor V8.5 Turboboost because it hasn't got a supported kernel.
Try using a custom stock ROM or a Cyanogen build.
Or maybe flash the CF-Root kernel (I'm not sure that'll work, but you can always try).
in my signature I indicate that my kernel is modified.
I also tried with TheMyth ICS lite and I have the same problem.
thx
Ok using root explorer go to system /etc/init.d tell me name of all the files in your init.d folder.

I have almost the same stuffs and it's working for me.
I've installed these things in this order:
- 2.3.5 WKS9 rom via Odin
- CWM 4 from stock recovery
- CF-Root b82 from CWM 4
- Ext4 converter apk istalled in CWM Manager then converted to ext4
- SlaidFastMod V2 from CWM 4
It's working fine i reached 1455 quadrant score with this stock rom and mods
it's pretty good.
So the differences are the rom and the cwm maybe your rom will be the problem ?
or there are different scipts in your initd folder and that causes the problem

Hi Guys,
First of all, i have used the search button to get my answer. But still couldnt find answers for all questions. So i thought i will post it here.
1. Does Darktremours a2sd comes pre-intalled with jusada's roms ? If not, can we install it separately ? If yes, where can i get it ?
2. Which is the best combination among the following ?
-- ICSSunday Final(with tweaks) with SlaidFastMod
-- ICSSunday Final(without tweaks) with SlaidFastMod
-- ICS2 with SlaidFastMod
-- Any other combo ???
3. Can we use swap partition on Ace ? What is the best swappiness value according to you ?
Wish I could help but I really haven't tried that ROM much. But at least I'll bump your question up...

1- dont really know. but if its not, yes u can install it manually. download script from here, put in root of sdcard, reboot into recovery, mount system partition, and flash it. finally read this for list of its commands.
2- not really sure. just try them all and stick with the one u like.
3- all of those jusada's ics u mention is based on cm7, which already had zram compcache. its similar to swap in a way. but if u use stock rom, cfroot kernel had swap function. just need to partition sdcard manually and activate it urself.
I like ics2 than ics final.
Now if you want to choose then choose ics without tweaks it is better than ics with tweaks.I have tried both.
If I helped you In any means hit thanks button.....
Hi,
I like Icsunday final (without tweeks) and LagfreeV1 script. Additionally set CPU govenor to “smartass“ and minimum CPU frequency to 245 to avoid the unlock lag.
I am absolutely happy with these settings

Thanks a ton Guys,
Here is what i did.
I tried both ICS final without tweaks and ICS2. I didnt like the look of ICS2. So i switched to ICS final without tweaks.
I installed a2sd as described by an0nym0us_. Works flawlessly. Moved the dalvik cache to sdcard set zipalign on boot.
Installed lagfreeV1 script.
Tried Chainfire3D. It screwed my phone. So had to repeat the above steps again
P.S. Now i have taken Nandroid backup
Now planning to use SetCpu instead of OC options in CM CPU governor.. Because when i tried to set OC using CM, my phone rebooted randomly.
Anybody tried to use swapping on Ace ? Did you use A2SDGUI or any other app to activate swap ? I have swap partition in my droid and I used it when i had FirstUA1.2 ROM.
EDIT: Guys. Just found out the problem for random restarts was not ChainFire . It was a2sd !! Trying link2sd. Will let you know how it goes.
I tried swapping before ICSunday - with swapper 2 on cm7.1. But I was not happy with that.
I never knew why, but my phone is much faster now without swapper.

Have a question about some overclocking "issue".
Installed this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1537913
Installed this Kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158197
All things went ok, then installed SetCPU, and i saw i can't pass 900Mhz or even i can't go further with the slider.
Is this normal ? Or should be some issue ?
You have flashed a non overclock kernel
Flash an overclock kernel

Could you tell me what kernel to use from this list, to be overclockable ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21273834&postcount=2
And is non-overclockable why i have 900mhz from 800 ?
Are you on Stock or CyanogenMod Rom?
If on Cyanogenmod use this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1296905
Download the "cm-blackhawk-kernel.zip".
Huh ? I don't know, i've said that i've installed that ROM above.
ohhh... SRY! my fault
A bit tired...
Have you got CWM-Manger (I mean the APP) installed?
And what kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158197 did you install? If you flashed the "b84", you have got OVERCLOCK!
edit: You said, you can't go with the slider----> Ketut limited it to 900 MHZ!
booted into recovery mode, choose install zip from sd card, and the installation was aborted.
edit: ohh, then what cm7 roms can you recommend me ?
I am a f****** idiot.....
Now I am confused too. The Intructions are confusiong and I'm too. SRY
Good Luck!
Recommend by ME CyanogenMod Roms:
-CM 7.2 by FAT
-CM7.2 by vo-1
-I am using LEWA, but i think you should use for beginning one of them above, cuz the are supporting all languages and so on.
Heyyy download the b83. Kernel from the kernel list this will get you overclocking

Time and time again I've seen people sleep around with different kernels and flash from kernel to kernel . In time without a good clean you will land into trouble and conflicts.
Welcome to the kernel clean clinic for those of you who flash without protection (ahem... Bob)
Doctor Hawker will cure many of the common issues that occur as mentioned on op.
Please use this as a first step when you encounter issues on a kernel especially if you hop onto another brand of kernel.
You will find debugging a lot easier. Trust me.

The whole point is you don't need to do a whole wipe of delvik and cache?
I don't understand how you don't get that also this cleans specific folders which I belive UKCS never did where junk lies and could have led to conflicts.
All you need to do is flash this script, flash new kernel and fix permissions. That is it.

Just to clarify, you did flash the script BEFORE flashing your kernel?
Media scanning is down to your rom. You may need to flash a media scanning fix, or you may have corrupt media files causing it to loop.
You can also create dummy files called .nomedia in any folders that you want the scanner to ignore which can speed things up significantly
